you can't attach scripts to factions, there is no provision for it.

if the characters join the faction through gameplay like dialog "hey join my faction" then you can ActorModSetValue them in the dialog fragments and ActorModUnsetValue them when kicking them out.

Kinda new to this but if you're dealing with a limited number of NPCs for special treatment.... say... less than 30.... would it be better for me to put them in a faction and attach (somehow.... no idea how to do this or if it's even possible) a nodescale modifier to the faction?

oh oh this is exciting if you can make this work because then you can add that to the JUGS mod and then...  Oh i so do hope this all works out as i love both of these mods as through a happy accident Khajiit milk ended up giving a boost to one handed and block instead of lockpicking and sneaking and I play as  a Female Khajiit so this ended up working out wonderfully as I love the conversations added by the JUGS mod and if you can get these two mods linked then we can have all of the people in the JUGS faction actually be like they describe themselves in the conversations.  Oh this is so exciting good luck and godspeed to both of you i eagerly look forward to the outcome of your efforts!  :D

how would we feel if i eliminated a few milks? make them based on general racial traits instead of super specific.

  • human (breton, nord, redguard, imperial)
  • elf (altmer, bosmer, dunmer)
  • orc (orsimer)
  • cat  (khajiit)
  • reptilian (argonian)

with matching semens.

i dont know i want to do all 10 with their vampire variants again and 10 matching semens with vampire variants.

if i do all 10 specifics im probably going to simplify their buffs down to just one thing each.

Well, my mage and spell sword characters guzzle the hell out of breton and altmer milks. Dunmer milk is handy when a fire breather/caster shows up. My rogue character loves imperial milk, etc. If you want to simplify, what would that look like, exactly? Pile all the attributes into a few milks? Or something else? Or would you rather trash the milk entirely in favor of a separate milk slave mod?

If you wanted a quick and easy way to include all those various milks, you could just duplicate them... that is, Breton milk = Breton Vampire Milk, and then just dial up the magnitude of the vampire milks, maybe add in a damage health effect to make drinking vampire milk have a higher bonus but be also bad for you.

I think I got a problem. I have this strange stats

TESV_2015_08_08_20_09_18_27.jpg

and I think that scaling of breast and belly are not working for this mod (I checked in MCM, it was on) and repair option won't give me spells to reset body. When I tryed to reset mod it went nuts with belly being size of a room, don't wanna do it again. Npc work fine though.

Is there a console command to add reset body spell?

OK, but the remainder of my question stands:

If you want to simplify, what would that look like, exactly? Pile all the attributes into a few milks? Or something else?

In regards to NPC magic effect removal, one workaround I discovered was to call the OnLocationChange function, which is fired on every worldspace and cell change automatically.

I think my mod with NiOverride integrated still needs to call this, though I'd like to be sure either way.

In my opinion you should really just keep the current set up of race specific milks with their boosts as that really helps to encourage people to bring a larger number of people to produce milk so that they can get all of the benefits of the race specific milks.  Also it would probably be best to just make vampire and werewolf version of the milk just have a straight boost in power from the basic races milk as they are from supernatural members of their races.  Now i would think that due to the fact that there are are only a couple of races it really should not be too hard to implement the full variety of milk and semen and then if you just use a simple flat boost for werewolf and vampire versions it should not be that complex at all and it would encourage people to get a large number of people pregnant which i would think would be pretty good and provide some major bonus to players who join up with the companions or the vampire lords added in dawnguard.

i'm going to stick with the racist milks, but i am knocking them down to 1 effect each

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Races

which will be based on the "powers" column except where "ability" makes more sense, like in the case of bosmer and imperial. i haven't yet decided on the semens.

i also plan to add a few alchemy mixtures, but im not going to sit here and make each possible combo. that would be what, 8000 some reciepies.

if i convert the milks from potions to ingredients, i could allow skyrim to mix and match the effects on its own (maybe?) and you'd still be able to eat it.

im leaning towards the ingredient conversion method now. then i could define multiple effects, let you discover them immersively, and create new potions with them.

[update] this would mean all milks will just restore 25% of health stam and magick when drank, you would need to mix and match them with more milks or other things to unlock and gain their effects.

Converting to ingredients isn't a bad idea at all. The effect mixing will only work if there are other ingredients out there with the same effect, of course... I can't remember any ingredient effect that has the Breton power, for example (unless I'm just missing it). You can, of course, balance it out by adding similar effects in with the semens, if you wanted to go that way.

the breton milk would be things like "resist magic" and there is a shitload of things that offer that. i wouldn't make new effects that way they could mix with vanilla things.

if i convert the milks from potions to ingredients

That is a awesome idea. (But keep the food keyword for "iNeed")

VendorItemFood? or is there another that is needed?

Posted

Yes "VendorItemFood".

From the iNeed Modpage:

You can categorize unrecognized food yourself, in-game, upon consumption of the item provided that it has the VendorItemFood keyword

like dis.

I think you should made less different ingredients. (Not for all races)

My Idea whould be:

Human Milk:

restore health

restore stamina

fortify 2Handed

fortify Block

Human Semen:

fortify smithing

fortify health

fortify heavy armor

fortify 1Handed

Mer(Elf) Milk:

restore magika

fortify enchanting

fortify spelldamage

???

Mer(Elf) Semen:

???

???

???

???

Kajiit Milk:

Nightvision

Sneaking

???

???

im going to use formlists for the races and milks and semens. this should theoretically allow other mods to add new milks for new races as well.
