Submissive Lola has one Mod Author (MrEsturk) who is rarely seen in the thread, and one very active Co-Author (HexBolt8) who is quite aware of the community and our more or less daily bug reports. There have been at least ten patches since I've downloaded that mod in mid August ?

You never know if that's a good or a bad sign for a mod ? but I love it anyway

Right now I've gor her into The Dollmaker's Shop, but she's wearing Skyrim Chainbeast restraints, and I have her outfit in my PC's inventory, having retrieved it from the container it was placed in by the Chainbeast  LOL

 

The dcur_sashaquest says it's running (Stage 50?) but of course in game communication is impossible given her startup line

Oh dear! I have no clue how to fix that. Sasha is anything but a normal follower, and I am not sure you can just pick her from a random list of NPCs and use her in such a fashion without breaking her to some degree. I have very little idea of what exactly SLS does in the background and how it handles the Escort feature in particular, but I suppose that's something SLS needs to address on its end.

Yeah, updates are never a bad thing. Some modders prefer to release early and often, and some build larger updates that take more time between releases.

 

My own approach is somewhat in between. I follow the "early and often" approach for point releases, but build larger updates when I work on features that are prone to requiring users to start a new game. DCL 9 is in the latter category. I don't want to release updates requiring new savegames every month. So I try to build as many of these features in the same release to make it count and give people time to actually finish a playthrough, before the next major version will make them start a new game again. DCL 9 has quite a few features that each would need a new game, so it makes sense to bundle them up, even if it means that some smaller features will get delayed.

"Nord Mead" or "Ale"? it has to specifically be "Ale". "Nord Ale" isn't a vanilla skyrim thing, though you might have something that renamed it.

 

Assuming you just mistyped I don't know, it takes 5 Ale and Bone Meal, 10 Tundra Cotton, and 20 Purple Mountain Flower, 1 Nirnroot and Troll Fat. Do you have all those quantities and the correct colour of flowers.

I've never used nor needed SLIF for anything, but i've seen 1 solution posted to other mod of similar problem; that is setting your SLIF's MCM configs right for your mod setup. Something about NiOverride and/or XPMSE?

I'll be looking into it, just wanted to get ahead of any problems. I think the biggest issue is when they sometimes compete for node scaling but it's not a HUGE issue unless they end up stacking and making things gigantic that shouldn't be. Thanks though.

@Kimy Follow the Guard (Solitude), fails, always.  Not entirely sure where the guard is leading you, but he always goes out the west exit (main entrance), west along the road until the northbound T intersection appears, one of a few things have happened.

 

1. At night, vampires attacked me, he ran off northwest like a crybaby to be mauled by a bear.

2. During the day, we got close to the same T intersection, he ran and stabbed a prisoner from the opposing faction being lead away, then "noticed" the camp full of them to the south, ran there and got murdered.

3.  During a morning, a group of the opposing faction was coming south to the T just as we were approaching it, he died horribly.  Two hit him with war hammers and someone else took his spine out.

 

Where is he going?  He never makes it!  The quest usually times out and fails, any chance to check his death status and fail it when he dies?

Since version 6 I never was able to make a playthrough till the end, before the major version was released. and here I am... almost 5700 hours played according to steam. You´re fast, Kimy... maybe I take my time during the playthrough to polish some issues here and there with other mods and maybe wrote a small one myself ;)

There was never an issue with DCL and SLIF. It is working. It is done via NiOverride and in the last version of SLIF the values are therefore found in the Morph categorie.

DCL does not register itself to SLIF. There is not really a need.

I've had a search over a few threads and there's some things I might try.

 

But if all else fails, tho, I'll erect one of your Devious Contraptions outside The Dollmaker's Shop, and she can sit things out there :)

Ah, fun, when gagged and you talk to a guard they either say "Not my problem." or the rare occasion "Alright, follow me."  Figured it had something to do with this or DD, maybe it is part of DL.  So wish the advanced debugging additions for Skyrim included NPC package and topic information.

Thanks, it is impossible to tell, so miss that Oblivion OBSE plugin that offered a buttload of information on everything going on, made tracking NPC package usage realtime, very handy.

I'm seeing this stuff about Chloe, where/how does one start that?  I have an older version of LAL, which I didn't want to trash all my previous saves to upgrade, so I just kept that version and was happy with it, it worked fine, anyways, is there something I need to do to get to start this one?

 

Wait, nevermind, found the cave, found the body with the note.

 

I read the note, went to point A, no Chloe, went to point B to get another note.

 

I went to point C and talk to scumbag (someone will laugh), got given Chloe's stuff, but then got told to talk to Chloe...

 

Chloe's pointer is pointing back where I found the first note, is that right or is something amiss?

Helgen, one of the cells after the tortue chamber. You stumble across her in the tutorial dungeon, which I found quite annoying. The note on the corpse is step two.

as per 8.5 changelog

 

Removed: Misogyny: Males no longer demand sex when dialogue is initiated. This function has proven to be problematic and could break quests.

 

it is still in the MCM, but I don't think it does anything anymore.
