Kimy Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 I've been stuck with the RD-Ebonite collar (harness) on for a long time now, when I try to unequip it with restraint key(or other keys) I get the message "This collar requires the use of a special device to remove". I have no idea what device I need. The debug "FREE ME!" doesn't work for this device but it works for all others, no console commands that I've tried works either. Need some help with this one please. This doesn't sound like a device from Cursed Loot. My custom harnesses are all black. The red and white ones equipped by Cursed Loot should all be unlockable with a standard key.
Kimy Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 What i noticed i didn't really like is the type of containers and traps that can trigger the events. For example, a chest at a hunter's camp or a simple bear trap. I already turned off "regular" containers like barrels etc, but still found random nighttables and cupboards triggering scenes. A "immersive" setting would be neat so that it only affects dungeon chests, eg. the big chests at the end of the dungeon like bleakfalls burrow or the smaller ones in bandit/necromancer caves. It just struck me as odd when i poked a beartrap and *bam*, cuffed and gagged. Or open a dirty old drawer in a ruined watchtower and *zap* blindfold and slaveboots. You can largely achieve this behaviour by setting all location weights except Dungeon to zero and do the same with the mundane containers slider. Give the ornate chests a huge bonus while using lower chances for "regular" chests. This way even drawers etc in dungeons won't trigger a lot and most of the events will happen when looting ornate/boss chests.
Slorm Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Most things have been working perfectly for me, but I can't seem to get the Estrus/Chaurus attacks to trigger. Using EC+ v3.91 (The latest version I can find), Estrus for Skyrim v1.20, and Cursed Loot v3.4. I've enabled debugging and everything related to Estrus I could find in the DCur menu, set weight to 100 for estrus attacks and 0 for everything else. When I loot a container I get told there is a 100% chance of cursed loot, and then informed that "chaurus attack" has been triggered. Then nothing happens. Tentacle attacks work perfectly fine from spawned and natural chaurus. No errors related to cursed loot, sexlab, or estrus in my log. All I can find in my papyrus log for Cursed Loot is: [DCUR] Looted a container. [DCUR] Cursed Loot event fired. [DCUR] Initializing libraries. If optional mods are missing, this function will throw errors. Ignore them, they are harmless! Not a *huge* issue (ordinary devices, "special" devices, and flashbang all seem to work perfectly) but if there's a simple fix I'd love to have this working. My only thought would be something related to the change from "3.39b" to "3.91" that seemed to be a correction to version numbering rather than any substantial change. Or possibly there really is a 3.93b floating around somewhere that I just can't find. Did you install DCL and EC+ at the same time as I've noticed this can happen. I found that installing DCL first and saving, then installing EC+ seemed to fix these issues
Emprah Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I seem to be having some trouble with the scenes that Solicitation starts appear to cause my game to CTD. The latest one when Lydia gave me some Skooma and then it crashed. I'll see about getting you a Papyrus log tomorrow.

After a failed solicitation attempt, the dialogue disappears and does not reappear even after two game days and high arousal. Is there a reason behind this?

I have EC+ installed and active and Estrus for Skyrim installed but not active, both current as of Friday. Estrus attacks triggered yesterday by Deviously Enchanted Chests work just fine. Thanks for the help, no idea how it got on in the first place.
Zydar Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I migrated from NMM to MO and testing on a new save when my PC just got some cursed loots! This is my first time seeing both the yoke and the pony boots (didn't know they make sounds) and my PC should probably go back to Riverwood before going against the big boss of the dungeon. Would love to put in More Devious Quest before heading back to Riverwood but I'll wait for it to get more developed in the meantime. Would be more fortunate if it was my PC who got the armbinder though lolI'm not sure if its on my end, but the torch not being removed when applying an armbinder or a yoke in this case ruins the look a bit. In the end I managed to remove it by trading with my follower.

With all the new settings on MCM, i didn't want to touch the default ones. Before this update, when I found a cursed loot, a dialog appears to describe what i just pick, after that something like "You feel really dizzy" and after that a large and well-written text. I strip and the devices appers on me. But now, I have always the same part of dialog and after "You feel really dizzy", a message that I havn't ever seen appears: And nothing else. I stand up without devices on me or in my inventory. I tried with the blast mod on MCM with 100% success to find cursed loot... Every bags explode in my hand but after the little dizzy, nothing else. Maybe it's just a setting to tick, but maybe else it's a conflict. Any ideas ? No one ? Edit: tried to reinstall v2.4, but it's seem the MCM of the mod is stuck at v3.4, and bug.

It read them as clothing. "You're wearing clothes!" Zap. "You're still wearing clothes!" Zap! Zap! "Hey! What'd I tell you about those clothes?!" ZAPZAPZAPZAP!!!! (Bleedout, stagger, restore health, repeat). Best work around for now is to turn off Devious Devices (Devious Captures) for bandits post attack when the Cursed Collar is in effect. Perhaps something along this order could be worked into the scripts instead of having to do it through the menu?

Either find the last npc you solicited and use the "I think you owe me some coin..." dialog or try the following console command. set dcur_solicitationoutcome to 0 It would be nice if there were a quest target pointing at the npc in question, but for now there is not, so you'll have to go from memory.

Can you try 3.4 with a brand new game and see if the issue persists? If yes, please post a log.

This sounds like a Deviously Helpless attack, is it possible that DH's arm restraints have some errant tags causing problems?

You can TRY to perform a clean save procedure to try and get the save game halfway clean of old data and/or use a save game cleaner tool to remove Cursed Loot data from your save game, but I still don't recommend it. Your mileage may vary.

BTW, is it normal that there only appear Yoke Keys besides of Restraints and Chastity ones? So, keys for special devices only appear if those devices are worn? Just to confirm that. And what is now, if a follower wears a slut collar? Can I as PC then find slut collar keys to help that poor girl (for a reward )?

Can I as PC then find slut collar keys to help that poor girl (for a reward )? Have you enabled key drops in MCM? If that's disabled, only the special/custom keys will drop. And custom items should not get equipped on followers, except the steel shackles. Their AI wouldn't know how to handle them. And yes, the person who wrote Cursed Loot is truly evil. When I started my last game, I was wearing shock boots, a parasite harness, a yoke and several other restraints including a gag by the time I reached Riverwood. Somebody should really tie her up so she can't code more evil things Oh...wait...
