I can't find any devices! I've tried setting the probability to the maximum settings and still nothin'. It worked fine with the beta version, then I upgraded to 2.4 and it does nothing now.

 

Any tips?

 

I've tried clean installs a few times. I've tried tweaking settings. I've tried different locations. New games.

 

Is your arousal too low? That caught me a few days ago when I was trying to force the slave collar. I'd set everything to maximum except I forgot about the "Minimum Arousal" threshold. The default of 20 was higher than the 16 I had at the time.

 

Turning on the Debug messages might help. They showed me that my odds were high, but my arousal was below threshold so there was no loot.

Awesome mod! Been running with it for this whole playthrough (started about two weeks ago and I'm loving it, around 100 hours played). It really adds some much needed difficulty and unpredictability, I'm so nervous to loot stuff nowadays. I'm the kind of guy who opens and loots pretty much anything I might need, so my little adventurer is locked up real nice quite often. Thank you very much for making it and keeping it updated. :)

 

Though, I have one little problem:

I managed to get myself in the Slave Collar, but I seem to have broken it. Perhaps changing load order messed it up? I have no idea.

I'm unable to remove it. Even with the key added through console. It won't trigger it's effects while wearing armor anymore either. When I open it with the key, I get the message that it's removed, but it's still on me. Any ideas? :s

That's a known bug that will be gone next update. :)

That's a known bug that will be gone next update. :)

 

Splendid! Could you give an estimation on the release of this update? My poor adventurer girl has been locked in the collar for the past few in-game months (or about 4 IRL days). :D

Hi again ,was just wondering if you might consider making a flash bang encounter a bdsm encounter where maybe we get a dialogue asking if we will play easy or  not, so if we say," do what you want to me." the normal rape (<---sounds freaking crazy to say) or if we respond," pound sand dirt bag ." we could get some whip /torture /punishment scenes then they ask again.repeat,rinse etc.

I've upgraded to 2.4 but still having an issue with the cursed belt not been able to equip to advance the quest

 

Yes, as I said above I was never able to reproduce this bug on my end. I can't fix what I don't understand. :)

 

But above post gives me at least something to look for, and that's what I will do!

 

 

*sigh* I still don't get this one at all. I had a look at the DD piercings in CK and they all come with the correct keyword that should totally work to satisfy the requirement to equip the belt. This just shouldn't happen. That or I am blind. :s

 

Oh well, if I can't fix it any other way, I might just lift the piercing requirement in the next patch. I'd prefer understanding what's happening there, though. :(

 

 

 

Tried doing the quest again on some different characters to see if it was just that save that was screwed up; 1st attempt had the same issue while the second worked without any issue and completed the full quest with no further problems (great quest btw; was worth the effort).

 

Now the 2nd character was an extremely old save back from vanilla before I even modded the game so it may be that why it worked but maybe worth mentioning is that the 2 who it didn't work for are the same custom race namely Monli. But If custom race is a factor or not I wouldn't know.

I went back to a pre sexlab mods save and the Cursed Collar Quest worked perfectly.

 

That quest alone tells me you are evil, mean, devious and great. I loved it, the only thing I thought of was glad he didn't put ankle chains on with the blindfold. Had so much fun with that, I set it to happen again. Is it possible for the key to appear in a couple different random containers? It worked perfectly the second time with the belt, don't know why it did not work with my previous save because I equipped the piercing in the chest with the plugs. It was the only piercing in my inventory. That is a 5 star quest.

 

Guess the slave collar quest is next, can't wait to see what that one is. The high security items are expensive at level 81, had to change to 100 per level.

 

Also play Captured Dreams and will the items mess up any quests there? I am a dom character at the moment and The Master can wait for the Elisef Quest(still mad about the Thalmor Quest degrading). So I am playing with the quests here first.

 

Great addition to your mod, moves right up to the top 2 mods.

Evening!

 

Need a bit of help :-)  so after many...many hours enjoying the slave collar, I finally found the key.  After using it, I receive the prompt that the effect has ended, but the collar still shows as being equipped...and I can't drop it.

 

Help?

Hey, I have a quick question.  I noticed that with the high security boots, that one is black and one is steel colored.  Is that an oopsie or is it just me?

Are you aroused enough? - I don't mean you! I'm talking about your character! :P

 

Check the MCM settings to see what the minimum arousal required for cursed loot to trigger is, then check your character's arousal - by default you can do that by pressing the N key. If that's not it, I'm not sure why it wouldn't trigger. Try looting different types of containers maybe. Not all of them can be cursed.

I'm currently in the slave collar for between 5 and 180 days and keep staring at the ring on the front...

 

If an NPC with a nearby dwelling decides you are free to use I thought they might like to take you home and chain you there until your specified use interval is up and they get another go.  Script-heavy or nearly impossible, I'd imagine.  Just musing.

I spent quite a few Hours trying to begin the Cursed Collar Quest using the Necrmancer Start in Live Another Life, without leaving Sinderions Lab. As Mord Sif has already pointed out the Quest requires an Arousal of 20 to even start. I thought I broke the Mod until I looked at My Papyrus Logs.

The complete lack of in-game UI telling you how much longer until the key to the slave collar can start showing up is great. I also hugely appreciate that you put in armor buffs to not make it a death sentence.

 

Quick question though: Do you have to hit the time period, number of sex acts, or both?

While this would be indeed fairly hard to implement (and doing it right), I added this to the pool of ideas. The slave collar is something that -will- see expansion! :)

But it certainly involves sex. That and the collar might want to be locked on you for a certain number of days before you can even try to unlock it. Oh right...and the key. Don't forget about that. The catch is that you won't know how many sex acts or days being locked in it it takes before you will even have a chance to find the key to finally get rid of the thing (fear not, you can configure the intervals freely in MCM!). Isn't it great to be locked into restraints and have no idea when and even if you will be released?

 

But no, it's not in MCM. I guess I could place a hint there, too! :)

Ah, I did read that but initially took it to mean that you wouldn't know the random number until you had the collar on, and once it was on my question above arose; whether or not you'd find out when the requirements had been met.  I'm not sure this is a problem with your description rather than my problem with comprehension.

 

Scope here for a dream sequence:

shortly after the requirements are met the collar knocks you out, you wake up somewhere weird (like Sanguine Grove or in the Soul Gem from Azura's quest) and hear evil laughter in the distance.  You run towards it and it gets louder and louder.  Eventually you find a cackling Sanguine or Sheogorath or Barbas or Havok (The God Of Physics - read CoCo's Blog playthrough, is very good) who dangles a key in front of you.

"You want THIS?  Then FIND IT!"

He throws it, you wake up.

Messagebox "There's a key.  There's a KEY to this bastard collar!  Now I have to find it."

Why so sad?  It suits you.  Looks better against skin than armour though.

 

When I had this I disabled mod, loaded, waited an hour, saved, (deleted scripts from savegame but I've had to do this with each upgrade, they just attach to skyrim.esm, rather than become orphan, don't know why) re-enabled.

Poor thing. She will soon be locked up properly again! :P

 

My to-do list for 2.5 is empty. The patch will be released soon. As in really soon. I am just testing a few last things, really.
