Guest Flobalob Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I don't know if this is related but I have noticed that the load times for my Skyrim have gotten much longer since all the DD updates, especially with DCL. The game plays just fine once it loads but it does take a long time sometimes. These mods just seem to get bigger and bigger. I don't have a lot of mods on this computer for performance reasons, (currently less than 30) but it was fine before. This is on my older desktop, I also run Skyrim on my newer Win 10 laptop but I have yet to update that one.

I've searched and the answer is "belt her and collar her first", and I have, like I said. Not sure if it's relevant, but the option to lock a full set of chastity gear onto sasha is always available to me, even if I've just selected it. I opened a new toy box beforehand to ensure I had everything I needed in my inventory first.

It used to run just fine 1-2 years ago, but struggles recently. It's normally ok to start a new game, but after a couple of levels... it's better to start over. Or have a good book for the loading screens... On a newer laptop it runs fine, mostly. Only problem is that I have to restart Skyrim at least once in many cases. The first time I fire it up, the loading times are even worse than with the old computer. A restart seems to fix that nearly always with loading times of a couple of seconds for indoors and a bit more for outdoor areas. I don't think there is much we can do about it though... Trash Metal Barbie Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 left ctrl + click to batch build or they were still transparent for me and pick a folder, i made a random desktop one just so i could show you it develops its own meshes folder , you can repeat the outfit search for DDI , DDA and DCL outfit searches to cover all the DCL items. I hope it helps you out <3 ps my wiggly mouse scribbles are shocking xD i apologise xD As fun as this was...... I can't find any of the deviant items. Only the chain stuff shows up (total 24 entries) I cant see ANY of the new items to batch The hell! pm me gear if you want, ill try help out, it's just occurred to me do you use mod organiser or the new nmm that uses another directory to read from? I actually backed my game up an copied all the devious stuff an bodyslide in manually.

Not all of us have high performance rigs and I am sure my desktop can't keep running deviously at the current rate of updates, excellent though they are.

I would be liar if I said that DD or DCL wouldn't cause some engine load. They do. I would qualify them as medium-load mods. But don't let sheer size fool you. You can crash the Papyrus engine with less than 10 lines of code if you want to. Things like adding more quests or more items has little influence on performance, as these aren't all running at the same time. The worst performance hogs I am aware of are actually fairly small mods: Actor Events, the old SexLab Aroused (that's why Fishburger wrote Redux), Estrus in Skyrim's esp, XPMSE's esp (there is a reason why I advise people to disable these esps in their load order!) In the end, Skyrim is Skyrim and its engine can take only so much stress. People will need to decide which mods to use - it's usually a bad idea to just install -everything- you like.
wantmads Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I haven't used the surrender yet so I got some questions about it. 1) I see people asking about adding DB as a dependency. Does that mean creatures from DG and DB are not available to surrender to? I have all dlcs. 2) What are the chances of actually getting knocked down instead of killed? Am I just gonna auto surrender when I hit 15% health or is there a chance to surrender at 15% health? 3) In Defeat I currently have it set up where pc doesn't get teleported when after the event but is left to get up and run away bound thanks to a plugin. What option set up should I use to recreate that, because it seems its either teleporting to the start area, some random place, wilderness, or bondage adventure? I'm not a huge fan to teleporting a lot. Basically I'm wondering if I can drop Defeat and use DCL to surrender or should I stick with Defeat given my preferences? Thanks for replies.

I don't have my Skyrim PC in front of me right now, so I'm going off of memory. If I remember correctly, you need her collared and belted first. Then, EXIT THE CONVERSATION COMPLETELY and start talking to her again. Somewhere in or near the belt dialogue you should find a new option to insert her plugs. Once you do that, just click the remote in your inventory (as though you were going to "equip" it). You'll get a menu popup asking what setting to use. If it's still not working, you may need to reset DCL. Those scripts are a bit delicate, and can break for just about anything. (Also worth noting: sometimes Sasha's restraints never make it back into your inventory when you remove them from her. No restraint in your inventory means you lose that option to tie her up. You have to use the console to replace them. The plugs are NOT meant to be in your inventory, though, so don't spawn them in!)

You didn't mention it in the update notes, but in the whiterun marketplace is now a slaver with an own dialogue topic. I am curious if it is just a "placeholder" for future versions or if he already has features. For example one dialogue line suggests selling slaves to him. So i wonder if in future you can become a slavehunter too Probably likely as you can subdue people now, dcl is expanding very nicely n_n Overlooked this line in the patch notes ... . Discovered a small bug: I captured a bandit, and subduing worked fine, but when i traveled to whiterun trying to sell her to the slaver the guards immediately attacked and killed her. So the enemy factions seem not correctly set or the mean guards don't want me getting rich by slave trading

I believe its because its actually two different versions that get equiped/unequiped and thus have different IDs. There's the solo corset, then a corset with belt.

Yes, FNIS AA are pricey in terms of performance and so are some other things. Now where does this rumor come from? I know that some people spread the rumor that FNIS Sexy Move is a performance hog. But that's not because SM uses FNIS AA, that's because the SM quest script awakes every 2 seconds to check if the player has changed location, and then looks for certain females (with just one call) every 2 to 10 sec. But that's not a performance threat, since the code run there is really small. Unless you run around with 20 female followers. FNIS AA is totally performant. It's just one case switch in the behavior graph for every animation that is AAed by at least one mod. Hovok behavior is generally performant, and one case switch is nothing compared with all other operations which need to be run down until one animation can be executed. Like these bone weight operations, especially when the bone count had been increased from 99 to 242 bones with the xp32 skeleton.

There was a problem with some of the stuff not showing up via filters with the original downloads, should have been fixed with one of the updates. Finaly figured it out.... dint have the Bodyslide files from the different mods inside the bodyslide folder..... I blame MO.... Once I added them all the other items showed up and i was able to batch em all correctly.

I don't know if this is a pre existing feature I hadn't encountered before or something new with 5.8, or maybe even a different mod. But I got some stuff equipped on my PC and even though I have a key, there is a "magical shield" preventing me from using the key in the lock. It asks me to wait a while for that to go away. How long do I need to wait?
