Slave belt alternative - the player has to soul trap creatures to get free.

 

This has just given me an idea for a fun set of plugs. Let's say you get plugged by a cursed loot event. The plugs apply a soul trap effect to you, so every enemy you kill has their soul sucked into the plugs. Each extra soul makes the plugs more lively, with bigger souls producing a greater effect. Inside, the confused souls go to war with each other, giving the wearer one heck of a wild ride the more full they become as vibrations and shocks fire more often and more powerfully. Only once enough souls have been absorbed, and only once they've worn themselves out fighting each other, can the plugs be removed. The number and/or type of souls needed to get free can be configured in the MCM.

In my original post with more explenation, the belt is of Dwemer origin. When visiting Calselmo in Markath, you learn that you have to soul trap (different) creatures. Afterwards you have to visit a Dwemer construction to get rid of the belt. Apparently the belt was designed by the Dwemer to "sort of" automatically gather filled soul gems for their machinery. And in the original post I also suggested that as more souls are trapped, the plugs become more active. But in my version the player will suffer in frustration (as currently with the cursed plugs).

 

The nice part about this setup is that when a player get stuck while halfway through a dungeon, the player can still finish the dungeon as the plugs are not yet disrupting gameplay much yet. And a second time, part of the quest to get out can be skipped.

 

As I do not like the grinding for keys, I thought that solicitation (with a chance on getting stuck in the belt of shame) could be a good alternative. You do not spend a lot of time trying to get out of the devices, but as you might get stuck in a belt of shame before you are able to retrieve all required keys, you still will spend a lot of time walking around in bondage.

 

Anyway, with the solicitation as means to get free in mind, the regular slave belt will not do as you cannot obtain keys (through solicitation) when belted. That is why I thought of this slave belt alternative.

 

 

using solicitation to get keys sounds really great to me too :)

 

as it is, i don't use solicitation, and as i don't like grinding much, using it to get key would make me use it, with all that come with it ^^,

I must admit not to have tested the new version in dept yet thus it might be implemented with me being unaware of it. Anyway, can you unlock the special items as well though solicitation (Like the shock boots, or the rubber suit that normally requires lots of keys)? Cause that is what I am hoping for.

 

And in case of the rubber or transparent suit, as each item normally require lots of keys, I imagine that they should require lots of solicitation as well, thus keys might be a more logical choice.

 

(together perhaps with the possibility to disable solicitation for money in the mod menu)

I am having an issue where DDCL tells me that I'm playing as a male character or running a mod that alters children after I install DD Cursed Loot. This happens regardless if it's a new game or one that I've already been playing. I've narrowed it down to the SkyTEST - Settings mod from nexus, and I think I may have just answered my own post. This is from the SkyTEST - Settings "Changes" tab:

 

Version 1.1

* Actors will now Ragdoll as soon as they die, instead of spinning before death.

* Added Craftable Left Hand rings variation of all existing non enchanted Rings, they can also be found as loot.

* Arrows Speed has been increased by 20%

* Wind in Trees has been increased by 40%

* Children can now be killed and will Only use special children furniture (preventing them for enlarging themselves)

 

Does anyone know how to remove this edit, so I can still use this mod and DDCL or does anyone know of a mod that performs similarly to SkyTEST?!?

I think that you have mistaken with mods. SkyTEST is an animal mod and does not have any of these features. I am using the said mod (despite it being slightly buggy),

 

I would like to know what mod you actually meant. :)

Yeah, that sounds like a great idea for a belt. The thought of having to collect souls just sparked an unconnected plug idea of my own ;)

 

The other belt idea I have mentioned earlier involves inflatable plugs. Except these inflatable plugs do not loose their air so quickly. And as the plugs are filled more, you will recieve a couple of negative effects (like unable to run, unable to sneak, stamina drain, etc). Unfortunate for the player, the plugs appears to be enchanted as well. Nearby npc's will have an urge to give the pumps a squeeze (with a small cooldown).

 

When you get belted, you also get a note that suggest that the trap was meant for someone else. The quest to get free will let you travel through a couple of crowded areas, meaning that nearby npc's will make your life a bit harder over time. The second time this event might occur, you can skip part of the quest to get free.

 

The nice part, when the event occurs, you can still finish any dungeon. It is only when visiting towns that you start to suffer.

Solicitation for keys has been in Cursed Loot since....forever. But yes, the feature unlocks only generic items (e.g. requiring standard keys). I could change that quite easily to handing out keys instead (it's actually easier), but I am not sure I'd want to let people pick a specific key. It would feel odd, IMHO.

Whatever mod it is, but if it makes children killable, it absolutely will trigger Cursed Loot's lockout, as this feature cannot be achieved without removing the Child tags from children NPCs.

Does anyone know the requirements for the Device Comment for when your not wearing any devices?

I can't get it to trigger.

I enabled the Device Comments and unchecked the "only when (visibly) restrained" options.

 

For me it works fine. If I don't have any DDs equipped, then every now and then a female NPC will offer to tie me up. Haven't had male NPCs tie me up yet.

I also have 'only when (visibly) restrained' disabled. There's also a cooldown setting, perhaps the event on your game is still on cooldown from some previous comment?

 

 

I had this event trigger for me and my "only when visibly restrained" setting was enabled. So it seems that that setting has no affect on the event chances.

It appears so.

 

From what I can tell, they both use the time stored in the global variable dcur_lastdevicecommenttime and the control global variable dcur_devicecommentallowed (where 1 = normal comment and 2 = tie up player).

I've run across a couple of issues with 5.2 and the Striptease collar and Parasite.

 

My character was generously equipped with the wicked device hours ago and has worked her way through most of Solsteim while wearing it;  it won't come off!  Using the head restraint key gives me the following message:  "You need 3 striptease collar to unlock the restraint" (sic).  Attempting to remove the collar via the console (player.removeitem) is ineffective; it is immediately returned to inventory and equipped).  Adding two more Striptease collars via console also doesn't work.  Using the "free me" option in MCM does not remove the striptease collar, either.  Poor Rynne appears to be stuck with it.  She  doesn't really mind that much but her arousal level increases much more quickly with it equipped.  Rynne thinks it is very stylish but would prefer a bit more "privacy" from time to time.

 

I've included a log file for what it may be worth.

 

Also, setting the parasite application to "0" in MCM does not stop the evil thing from surprising poor Rynne, always at inconvenient moments.

well, yes you can for normal retraints. and i would love the add for special restraints. but since it's not normal keys, you could have a setting to increase the risk of getting locked, raped and all instead. and for example with the rubber suit, it would require lot of sollicitation... so it wouldnt be too easy ^^,

It indeed has been part of the Cursed Loot since forever, but this time you added the belt of shame as a possible outcome, a neat way to interrupt the player from getting out of the devious devices quickly. Yet it does not prevent the player to use solicitation to get out as the belt is only temporarely.

 

As to letting people pick specific keys, an alternative might be that an npc will only provide useful keys that will unlock gear that you are currently wearing.

 

Other solicitation aspects that come into my mind when solicitation is used to get out of the bindings:

  • When soliciting for keys, it might be nice if there is always an adjustable chance on getting belted anyway (I must admit I do not know exactly how the chances are calculated at the moment, or what the exact formula is).
  • Perhaps the soliciting for money can be made optional when solicitation is enabled.
  • Solicitation (in contradiction to sex-attack) is voluntarily. Thus to me it seems odd that while sex-attacks can be gender specific, solicitation is not. Admittedly, it will only chance the dialogues options.
  • I still am not able to trigger a consequence-event when a sex-attack occurs. As a consequence-event might get you belted, it seems to me like a nice addition when solicitation is required to get out of the devious devices.

 

As to my first post after version 5.2 was released, if possible I gladly help with any of my suggestions (like the belt-quests, the cursed statue of Dibella quest, or the minor permanent benefits after some cursed events). For instance writing dialogues and journal logs, creating an 'event-tree', or selecting ideal areas or npc's (and get their ID's).

Tentacle parasite!  Cool!  Super-oober-humungous-boobage... not so cool.  I take it the parasite is an armour, and as such, there's no way to scale the breast size to whatever the character has "underneath"?  Feels rather silly to go from B+ or C to HHH or JJJ or whatever that is with the parasite.  Plenty more to choose from, of course.  Great mod!  Looking forward to the next installment, whatever that may bring.

It's a typo I reported earlier. To remove the striptease collar you need:

I believe that links into a 3rd-party mod: Simple Slavery. I don't use that (yet), so I can't say for sure, though.

Oops... Did exactly that, and now the games crashes if I load a "parasited" save file, or if I loot a new one...

another suggestion Kimy; how about an arousal collar.

 

It would keep your character in a constant aroused state by automatically putting you to 99 or 100 arousal whenever you dip below that (after orgasm for example).

 

Seeing as alot of events are arousal based it would mean you would be triggering a lot more.

 

Of course thats the collar at the most basic but I'm sure you could come up with plenty of ways to make it more devious; maybe making the arousal based events always triggerable with the collar on so even if you have them switched off normally (such as sex attacks on arousal)

I can't get it to trigger.

It triggered for me quite reliably about every 24h when starting a dialog with any NPC independently of their sex.

Try waiting a full 24h then talk to someone.

If that doesn't work, something else might be interfering.

I "do" like the option to have items unlocked instead of keys though.

 

Also I wondered something about solicitation, how come a belt prevents it entirely but if I have a belt on I can still be raped unless I have a gag and the rear blocked? I figure solicitation wise someone might want a blowjob instead, which you can still give with a belt on. Aka, an option that you can still solicit unless your entirely blocked like for sex attacks would also be good.

 

Still theres two things I wanted to bring up about solicitation since were on the subject. 1= Its super weird that beggars would have lots of gold to pay for solicitation [ive said this before but it keeps getting missed] 2= Since we can get "more" money as we level up via solicitation, but we would always get the same amount of keys, it would seem overall a better idea if we had someone we could buy keys from instead of getting random keys for rewards. We would just get better at earning keys as we leveled which makes sense too, and immersively they have to come from somewhere and where are NPCs getting them? Maybe the lady at Dawnstar could also sell special keys, and maybe other npcs like smiths or new npcs in some of the other major towns too.

That would seem more like an effect for a plug or a belt that had its own plugs to do~

True but I think collars tend to have a lot more leeway. They don't hinder you nearly as much as something like a gag so depending on the effects are more suited to long term play. You can travel skyrim with an enchanted collar trying to remove it while suffering its effects but some thing like an armbinder or gag or slave boots can make long adventures next to impossible.

 

Plus I always think Collars give the most submissive/slave vibe imo and would be easy to magically curse.

 

Saying that I wouldn't be against another Item having the effect but I don't think a belt would work; My whole thought train with the collar was that it wouldn't prevent sex or orgasms etc just make the subject be super aroused all the time;  the whole deviousness is from the fact that no matter how many times they have sex they will never get any actual 'release' no matter what they tried.

That was the last version, I got it yesterday

Deleting the files Data\meshes\DixiePig\monster_0.nif and Data\meshes\DixiePig\monster_1.nif, then removing/reinstalling cursed loot to get them again didn't even help, I wonder what can be wrong since they were the only 2 files touched by bodyslide...

 

EDIT: Nevermind, got it to work by downloading the tentacle armor mod, extracting the 2 monster_X.nif files, and overwriting the old ones with them

Now not only it works, but the CBBE body is used so I don't get the 2 death stars on her chest

Still, thank you for trying to help!
