ForestElf Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 wow this mod can get dirty so easily. plenty of the features stop working very quickly after each raw update. i think i will have to create a new clean save before moving onto 4.9. one of them is no cursed collar quest trigger. the letter does nothing. just one of many! now to an actual BUG REPORT: i am getting when meeting bandits,thiefs and bandits ONLY an very annoying sex attack spam bug. lookee here boys, dot dot dot. is this message and bug coming from your mod Kimy or the newest defeat? i remember disabling all attack options in both mods if i am not fully mistaken. it is annoying me a lot The problem is this is a "multi-mod". The thing is, it is like the mod the more you play, the more it breaks down. But i don't know what else to do, i already re-installed it today... I am also having often CTDs when someone kills me and the game auto-reloads, but i can't blame Cursed Loot for sure about this. I know it's something Sexlab related though, because before installing any Sexlab mod, my game was much, much more stable. And i don't even run Defeat or Death Alternative or anything death related...

Ah well, thanks for the info though! I went ahead and just started a new game. This mod and all the devious device mods are really amazing, it's as exciting as the first time I fought a dragon
ForestElf Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 just more reason for me to do a clean install I had a clean install, but upgrading mods, i always end up ruining it... I just re-installed all of Sexlab mods, just in case... Still, i just had Valga Vinicia (Falkreath inn keeper), unlock all the devices for free, including 2 high security restraints. The mod, is well thought feature-wise. This could very well be the most "fire and forget" mod in LoversLab for Skyrim. Basically, it's the main mod i use. But, i swear, once i find a version that's bug-free, i am not upgrading to new one, ever again...

I 've had a more annoying thing. So my nord thief has arousal threshold for arousal based attack to 75. And as she was going to clear a bandit tower, i get the message "bandit has noted your vulnerability" and sex attack begins. At the same time, another bandit that was guard at the tower entrance, starts talking about having to pay toll for the road. And i was having the menu open to select between "i will pay, i don't have money, persuade etc). All this while the other bandit was fucking my poor heroine... So i was afraid to select an answer , because if i clicked "i won't pay", then the bandit could start attacking my toon, while the other bandit was still fucking her. Instead i waited for the sex attacker to finish and then answer the bandit "no", who then attacked. I don't know, but maybe arousal threshold attacks should occur only by non enemies to avoid such situations?

That's a one-off encounter at Valtheim Keep (I don't recall any other toll charges by bandits). I personally wouldn't want to see bandits not responding to arousal to avoid that single event. I don't know if there's a way round it, it may be possible as it doesn't trigger if you use Touring Carriages and pass by that location, but whether it's possible on foot I don't know as it's part of vanilla Skyrim.

Yeah, that was it. Only difference is that i wasn't passing by, i had the quest to clear it out. To me, it's a bit unrealistic, that you are sneaking towards an enemy location, nobody has seen you and suddenly, out of nowhere, you get the sex attack trigger based on arousal and then you enemies vanish again afterwards and they become unaware of your presence again until you kill them. But, well, not big thing. I 'd rather have the other bugs corrected.

A lot of the times Ill be alone and a sex attack will decide to trigger, and it will spawn a bandit to attack me who then dissapears immediately after. Like instead of inventing a person to take advantage of me if one triggers and theres no one around or Im unnoticed at the time the attack should fail. Stupid bandit appearing in whiterun at night... arent there still guards at the gate? >.>

DH attacks only happens is you have devices fitted and only if a bandit has LOS, they wont happen otherwise.

If you get a bit of script lag you can see the keys appear sometimes EDIT: Someone a page or two back linked a mod that hides the "Empty" notification which will be a great help to immersion. I'll give it try over the weekend if things don't get too busy

I always sneak when i go around in the countryside, so that i can catch enemies by surprise or soul trap animals that haven't seen me. The most funny/annoying thing, was when i was approaching a bandit camp from a hill high above. I was coming down through an almost vertical cliff by jumping from rock to rock, while in sneak mode. And suddenly, while i was in the middle of the cliff, i get sex attack... I was like "really? really?" I 've had the "lonely bandit" attack too...

EDIT: I vaguely recall that the mod Estrus Mimics tried to get round it by putting a coin in every container which disappeared as the pc opened it. EDIT2: DDftM has a mechanic to add tokens when entering a dungeon, maybe something like that could be used and the token removed as part of the process of opening the container
43deadwood Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Just a thought that relates to some recent comments - would it be possible to have a check box to toggle sex attacks when in dungeons, similar to having sex attacks off in towns and cities? My character recently entered a falmer dungeon - she had a high arousal so a falmer suddenly appeared and had his way with her then disappeared. A few moments later my character is trying to kill same falmer who seems oblivious to her presence. I'm now using MCM to switch off sex attacks before entering dungeons but it would be nicer if I didn't have to! Also what about sex attacks being triggered by the PC being alone - plenty of mods mention the dangers of solo women travelling in the wilderness so it might make sense to have this as an option? Love the mod by the way, even though I don't use the bondage elements (sex attacks and prostitution are brilliant just by themselves)

When not possible, i try to retreat to narrow passage, as to bottleneck superior enemy numbers. So that they come one at a time. At the end of the battle, i usually can't tell who's who and often i have to drag bodies away to be able to loot those underneath. So without "empty" tag, it would be really messy. I can think immediately the Alik'r warriors ("In my time of need"), where i always retreat to the passage and at the end of battle, there is a pile of bodies one on top of another. Another case that comes immediately to mind, is the HonningBrew Meadery outside Whiterun, which i always do early in the game. If you actually take the time to loot every mead barrel, at the end you can make about 1000 septims by selling the bottles back to the Meadery's owner. And there are a LOT of barrels in there, which i am greatful to be able to tell which i have already looted. Well, for me, now that i know about it, i will simply take a peek whenever i see "empty". Or i won't when i see arousal is high and want to avoid cursed loots.
unmog Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Well there are some good mods for followers, Im using AFT I think its called and followers will sneak better, not trigger traps, and stay back until I take damage in combat. Plus their combat behaviors can be picked from a list and such. No reason thieves cant stick together I like moving bodies though as well, since ya mentioned bodies on each other. Ill often times entirely strip a body too so the naked ones are kinda obviously searched~

After setting up all my MCM options for all my mods, (which takes about 30 min) the cover animation no longer works. 2) After a sex attack, the menu is still disabled and the characters don't redress. It's like a script is hanging or something. Any ideas on either of these? Including the papyrus log in case there's anything useful in it. Nevermind. Turns out I'm just stupid. Now maybe Im just tired and cant remember something correct, but I could have SWORN I was able to jump before when wearing an armbinder. I remember when I was heavily bound I would sometimes be unable to jump, usually things like heels and cuffs etc. But I dont remember being unable to jump in just an armbinder... anyway, Im got hit with a cursed collar, and for funs I decided to tamper with it and it put me in an armbinder. I wiggled out, fiddled with the locks, and decided to wear it some more but now Im unable to jump. Very annoying... and strange as I remember being able to jump in one before like I said. Any ideas what could be going on? Or do armbinders now restrict you from jumping too? Some recent change somewhere? Now as I said, I fiddled with the locks, so taking it off again isnt a problem if I need to jump... and I know my jump button is still working when Im not wearing it. Just a bit confused as to why I cant jump with it on anymore.
