Deviously Cursed Loot LE 9.0 (2021-03-09)

LL is lying.

Cursed Loot has about 22MB at this point (the 63 is the TOTAL of all files stored in my download page). Also, file size is absolutely no indicator about resource usage. Armor mods have hundreds of MB each and have zero impact on the scripting engine. Conversely, the worst resource hog ever was the old SL Aroused, which was super small in terms of file size. Size doesn't matter. I am pretty sure I could reliably crash Skyrim with less than 10 lines of code if I wanted to.

 

That being said, yes, I am going to add new functions with performance in mind. If you decide to keep the current version, that's of course your call. Don't expect me to release bugfixes for older versions, though. Btw. the sex attacks in 4.9 will execute faster than in 4.8. I optimized the code. Not every new version is making things slower...

 

Oh, and I have seriously no idea why anyone would complain about a version number that was forgotten to be increased in some info string. This doesn't really deserve the name "bug" by any stretch of imagination.

 

 

 

Ok. I get it. It's hard for a user to really tell what's doing what, because when you install the various dependencies, at the end you "blame" the final mod.  I can believe Sexlab Aroused is heavy, because anything that scans periodically, is heavy. So yeah...  

 

Any code optimization is fine with me! 

About the sex attacks, i think the layout of the MCM page is a bit difficult to understand.

after several hour of playing I have one issue left. I notice that the kind of key to the slave chastity key drop randomly (i.e you can loot several time the same key) and this is kind of frustrating. Is there a way to make the key drop progressive ?

So I recently discovered in gameplay... not a bug really but more something you may want to account for in the next edition. Now someone may have already mentioned this, but I figured the case where I assume incorrectly that you had heard of it would be harmful than the inverse. The "issue" is that sex attacks are not disabled in Vampire Lord, and probably not Werewolf- forms. Now since you are armed,armored and... shouldn't transform if your devised weather you can or not- this doesn't come up very often. But it still can trigger if you are very unlucky in when the the nudity check goes off,have to high an arousal, and a couple other edge cases.

 

Figure you may want to add a line into the code to stop sex attacks if your in vampire lord or werewolf forms.

Quick question, I am using the 4.8 version but still getting the periodical update bug/ctd. Was the 4.8 suppose to fix it or will it be in the next update? I actually did a fresh install of skyrim tonight with all updated mods and I also have all the required ones as well, just to get that out of the way. Any tips for me?

 

Not sure what bug you mean, but the bug that caused the excessive script lag is -definitely- gone. If you still experience CTDs, it's very, very unlikely that Cursed Loot causes them (and as I said above, the periodic event being the last event in your log doesn't mean that it actually caused the crash). Cursed Loot's papyrus load is medium level when the sex attacks are enabled and more or less lightweight otherwise. Often, scripting engine crashes aren't caused by any one mod, but a combination of several that together just add too much strain on the engine.

 

 

 

Okay, Thanks Kimy! That's actually some really good information that helps a noob like me out. I'll keep at it today and figure out what my problem is then. I am getting VM is freezing... VM is frozen after a DCUR event and then several other lines of DCUR before the CTD. It's always when looting though I've noticed or opening doors but i'll keep troubleshooting.

 

Update: You are right Kimy! When i turn off DCUR, the problem occurs less often but still does occur so it's not DCUR. Sorry for blaming this wonderful mod. :-(

 

 

Just FYI, VM is freezing/thawing is just the game pausing (iirc).  So when you open menus, chests also I believe (as it's inventory).  So no biggie there.

MINOR OPTIONS CLASH... slut collar vs sex attack options

 

SLUT COLLAR... I was playing, having been stuck in the slut collar for a while. Then realised with the new options that it was impossible to escape with some SEX ATTACKS options turned on.

 

- Slut collar enforces nudity... Sex attacks option, nudity = rape

 

- Slut collar is devious device... Sex attacks option, Devious devices on view = rape

 

- Slut collar removal = no sex for so many days... some sex attack options prevent this...

 

 

SOLUTIONS...

 

1. Turn off the Sex attack options, yourself.

 

2. Sex attacks options for NUDITY and DEVIOUS DEVICES  turn off automatically when Slut collared.

 

3. A new Devious Device, Devious Slut Catsuit. It  prevents rape, until set time, then it activates and crotch unlocks...

 

 

I like option 3, the idea of a Devious Slut Catsuit protecting the player from all sex attack related rape. It would also distance the slut collar from the slave collar... No keys, only removes itself when slut quota is reached, then it disappears from your body. Plus possibility for plugin for Frostfall warmth rating, so you don't freeze to death...

 

For immersion whores, you could have a dialogue come up after six hours.

 

' You suddenly feel a breeze between your legs, as the catsuit peels away from your crotch, displaying your willingness to breed... You gasp, suddenly feeling incredibly vulnerable... '

 

and afterwards...

 

' The soft rubbery material of the catsuit constricts between your legs, you gasp loudly. Feeling it pulling itself tight against your crotch once more, sealing you into it's rubbery embrace... '

 

You'd still need the gag, chastity belt and bra to prevent rape every so many hours, when the suit opens up. The suit would still zap you if you wore clothing.

 

These are just some ideas for a fix to a minor problem with the slut collar vs the sex attack options, along with an idea for a new devious device...

Speaking of sex attacks, in the MCM there are 2 "arousal thresholds". One on the left column, saying "arousal threshold" and one on the right column saying "arousal to trigger attacks". This is a bit confusing, but i assume that the "arousal to trigger attacks" works only when the aroused box above , is ticked, while the other is a more generic setting?

 

Also, speaking of arousal, i have sexlab aroused redux installed, but arousal doesn't seem to rise. I was at arousal 6 for much time, i finally had to install "Hydra Slavegirls" to have it go to 26. The problem is, this mod causes severe fps drop and CTD. I uninstalled it and the game became much smoother and stopped crashing. But, if not with this, then how is arousal supposed to go up? Because for cursed loot to work, the default threshold is 20. Without Hydra Slavegirls, there is no way it's going to rise to 20.

If you have SL Aroused Redux installed, your arousal is support to increase over time. Just like that. Check its MCM settings and make sure everything is all right.

In my case, arousal drops over time. I installed Hydra slavegirls, got it to 26, now it's 24. No sex either. I haven't changed anything in the MCM, it's all default settings. I even re-installed the mod, nothing...

 

Damn...I must have some mod conflict then (despite LOOT)...

 

I guess i must start disabling mods until i find the culprit. Thanks.

Another weird thing. I thought that high security restraints can only be removed by blacksmith, after being paid. Well, i had high security collar and arms shackles. I go to Solaf (Falkreath general trade) and i ask to unlock. First time he says "sorry i know nothing of locks" (or something like that). I ask again, by the third time he says "oh, you poor thing" and he unlocks both for free.  Is that normal?

I can't remember the exact calculation but it's roughly to do when you last had an orgasm and exposure rate (I'm sure someone can explain it better than me).

 

Anyway, on a practical note if you toggle on "Exhibitionist" in SAR Puppetmaster and then toggle your armour on in "Current Armor" this should start to raise your arousal fairly quickly providing there are NPC's around to see you. Basically this makes your pc become aroused if seen naked and the armour toggle sets your armour so that your pc appears naked to everyone, so she gets aroused

1: Exposure:

seeing naked NPC, NPC having sex (or beeing naked PC exhibitionist seen by other NPC) will rise your arousal for the value configured in MCM.

Important !!: Exposure works with LOS (Line of sight), so you don´t have to actually watch a sexscene / naked npc to get exposure, it will rise the same if NPC/scene is in your back (and you could watch it by just turning around)

 

2: Time Rate:

every time your PC has sex and gets orgasm, your timerate will rise for the value configured in MCM. So: the more often you have sex, the faster your arousal will rise (even if you are alone in your playerhome and don´t have any exposure).

 

2a: Orgasm:

Orgasm for female PC will happen on vaginal sex, anal sex and masturbation but NOT on oral sex (rape or consensual doesn´t matter).

 

2b: Orgasm:

Orgasm for male PC will happen on any sex act.

 

 

Arousal for PC will drop:

 

3: Sex (fast arousal decrease):

after each sexact with orgasm of your PC your arousal will drop (but at the same time your timerate will go up !!!)

 

4: No Sex (slow arousal decrease):

after some time without sex your timerate will decrease (configurable in MCM), so you get aroused more slowly. (Exposure will still rise your arousal according to point 1)

So, what you say and a bit of what i understand from the above, makes me wonder of one thing... My toon is... virgin... Could it be that the arousal drops, because, 1) there is no time rate since she had no orgasm , 2) Before installing hydra slavegirls, there was no "exposure" because normally NPCs don't walk around naked, 3)  Drops because even if i get to 26 through hydra slavegirls, she still had no sex ?

I've noticed something similar in the past, arousal will drop to zero if left long enough without a starting sex act to kick it into life. I haven't tried the exhibitionist trick with a virgin but it should increase arousal directly the same way as vibrating plugs would.

Thanks, for now i have changed Cursed Loot threshold to 15. She's dropped to 19 for the time being, so she's still above threshold. If i see her drop below, i will turn exhibitionist. Although, you gave me an idea... If i could find a plug in a cursed loot, this would also bring her arousal up, enough to have  her lose her "sexlab virginity" without cheating (i.e. sex attack, sleep attack, attack instead of helping her). Thing is, she's been also very lucky. I 've set items to drop per chest to 1-4 and until now she's only had 2 cursed events: The 1st was only gloves, which she removed immediately because she had a key and the 2nd was 2 high security restraints, which Solaf removed for free...  In the meantime, thanks to her low arousal, she has found several keys (2 heavy yoke already). She also found a lucky charm that protected her from a 3rd cursed loot event.

 

I am in a dungeon right now, let's hope she will run out of good luck. In a way or another, i must have her lose her virginity. But i don't want to cheat if possible. I will report back if i solve the problem.

EDIT: This one is a tough one... She cleared the entire dungeon without incident and got 2 cursed loots inside Falkreath. BUT! She now has 4 restraints (2 high) and one vaginal piercing that sends shocks that bring arousal to 0... So now her arousal is 0...

I removed 2 traditional restraints with keys and it took about 10 attempts, but Solaf again removed high security restraints + the vaginal piercing, so now she has no devices AND arousal 0!!!   This is one is a tough cookie! She really doesn't want to lose her virginity...

It appears i find keys/lucky charms faster than i find traps and that Solaf guy who is always rude has proved so helpful in removing things for free! Welcome to RNG hell.

 

It sometimes gets stuck (and I don't mean clusters) so if you keep getting repeats (like something at 1% always firing) restart and reload to fix it. It just happens from time to time.

Im trying to think of the name of the mod... but theres an option in it for a button you can keybind and hold to "think about sex" to raise your arousal manually to a limit you can also set. Otherwise my arousal also drops over time. To get it higher is pretty easy, lock yourself in a chastity belt with some evil plugs and it will raise pretty fast. Also in sexlab or arousal options you can tick a box so you get aroused if someone sees you while your naked... forget the name of that too. Yea names are hard for me...

 

Okay Blush when aroused has the think about sex option, and it has the blush feature which I find adorable.

And Aroused or Redux has an option under puppet master where you can set yourself to an exhibitionist.

 

Otherwise, if your in an armbinder and gag and go to any male character and nod when they ask if your having fun theyll tease you and raise your arousal a lot. Wearing a belt and plugs also raises your arousal and you can set how much it does in the Devious Devices menu under Devices, normal rates are 1.5 and 3 x normal. I like putting the belt to 1 and plugs to either 3 or 4 though since I like sometimes using a chastity belt to prevent sex when dungeon delving.

In the CL setup, you can tick on, 'only find keys while bound' or something like that. 

So no more collecting a bunch of keys if you're not wearing anything and having one ready when a trap triggers..  Keys only show up once bound and you need them.

 

After a few 'adventures', I find the arousal increases pretty quickly.  Few solicitations for money and arousal to 0, good night rest, trip to the smith to off load loot, pick a few flowers otw to new dunge.. *BAM*.   OMG she's already past the trigger threshold....

ok found the problem lol, when my character is naked, she has some leg cuffs on but it does not show on the inventory menu, so there is no way to remove em and thus the quest is not getting complete.
