Hi, I'm having a slight issue with the prison feature of this mod. I've got sent to the prison via simple slavery but once I'm in the prison whenever I open a menu the game immediately crashes to desktop. It happens if I try and press Esc to save and occasionally when I click on the chest at the very start where I have to put all my belongings. Would appreciate any help with this?

I can guess - you have many items in inventory and script have no memory to transfer all items to chest. Free your inventory. Maybe helps increase SKSE memory configuration.

Hoping someone can help me here, For some reason this kind of collar no matter the collor does not show in my inventory meaning I can also not unequip it even with debug tool.

 

Anyone know what bug this might me?

You need use console player.showinventory to find rendered device of this collar and compare with match inventory device using xedit, spawn and equip this inventory device by player.equipdevice id.

Also you sure, that is DD collar and not just asset of some of your equipped item?

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I tried emptying out my inventory of all but a few basics (the armour I'm wearing, a couple weapons and a handful of options) but it still crashes.

Should be the latest version of skyrim including dlc's

 

DD 5.1 and DCL 9.0

 

I got the collar through devious carriges, though it does not matter which version or what mod equips it the result is the same.

 

Because I have seent the different colors before in black and red and white

 

I can not remember the name as it has been a while that I have actually seen it but I believe it was harness collar or something like that.

 

I will look into those commands at the next opertunity.

 

I am sure it is a DD collar.

So this is temporary solution - you have damaged, overwrited DD 5.1 scripts. Or have some mod what use DD, but DD 4.3 and are incompatible with DD 5.1

At least if this mod use own devices, you can found, what mod causes problems. If it uses original DD items, no luck.

1) Open console and type player.showinventory. Found any rendered device ignore XX040F0C - it's device hider from DDI. Navigate in console screen keys: PageDown PgUp

2) type this ID into xedit and it leads to rendered device if all ok.  Now set down tab Referenced By - and it shows match inventory devices or other references. Found line with [ARMO: .... ] This ID will be inventory device. First two letters is hex mod load order, so you can found mod, from what this device is. Check into your console inventory if this device exist - if not, you found it.  Note: some rendered devices have more that 1 inventory device - check all devices in your inventory. Now type player.equipitem ID, where ID is found inventory device id. And device will appear equiped in inventory and can be manipulated by you. If inventory device was in inventory, search for other rendered device ID. Xedit screen:

Good luck! But you need solve problem, what mod cause it or reinstall DD 5.1 from zero. If you use MO2, check if some DD scripts not overwrited by other mods.

UPD: !! Forgot! This example is for Slave collar from DCL - as my player have equipped it.

i got stuck in the learning the ropes quest. I tried to escape from the ropes and got the success message, but the ropes stay equipped. Is there any way work around this? Unequip via console or something? (Normal unequip command is same an unequipping via UI)

Safer to just go back to a previous save.
You can add the mod devious devices equip, that will give you options to unequip devices in the mcm.

For the console, you need to get rid of everything you have (stick it all in a barrel or other container) so you can see what's left. list your inventory via the console and delete the stuck device. there will be an item for device hider. even if you remove that, it will come back immediately, that's normal.

While I know that this may be part of all mods breaking with the updates recently, I keep crashing when trying to use the Delivery Refused quest. I make it to talking to the lady, but when the transition to hop into the wagon happens, the game CTDs. I am going to wait for everything to update since I keep accidently updating Skyrim, but if it still crashes, I'll check back.

No idea, I speedrun until I was released from the dollmaker, and I could no longer fast travel.

What you mean by released? It's not end of quest line, probably still some quest blocks travel

Hm, since I installed the new version of DCL, carriages stopped working. My character pays, sits down, fade to black...and it fades back in, in the exact same place I started. I thought it might be due to carry weight (since there's some functions of DCL and SLA that increase carry weight, and you can't ride carriages overencumbered), so I tried dropping all my items down to like 20 worth of weight, and then trying out a 'stronger carriages' mod that removes the weight limit, but still nope. I made a brand new save game, nope. I tried the ultra-safeword that removes all items and ends all DCL quests, nope.

 

Previously I'd been using DCL 8.5, and carriages always worked fine. Hell, they worked with or without the Devious Carriages mod (which isn't active in this run with 9.0, so it can't be that). Any ideas?

 

Anyway, don't want to be entirely negative, I'm really enjoying the new version overall with the linked quest chain, and this remains the core mod of my games. But I'm sure you can imagine when the questline disables fast travel, not being able to use the carriages is a bit of an issue sometimes.

A little MCM request / idea I got in mind:

 

Would it be possible to have a different cooldown timer between rape attempts that were resisted and actual rapes?

 

For example: make it possible to set in the MCM that people will try to rape the character every 1h but if she gets raped she gets a break of 3h?

Huh, this was on a new save that had only ever used DD 5.1 and DCL 9.0, the latter of which I just installed. So you mean sometimes it will still randomly break them for a save? Or do you mean I have to reinstall the whole game?

As i know not. Some of mod is damaged game. I bet it's devious carriages.

As @Elsidia already said: Devious Carriages can break your carriage system. I did have the exact same problem with v0.3.1 last year. In this current playthrough I am using the current 0.4.0 and it works fine with DD5.2 (beta6) and DCL 9.0

Maybe just do a reinstall of the carriages? If that doesn't do, maybe uninstall, use a save cleaner, reinstall. But I don't think it's a DD/DCL problem, but of DCc

It's the order that matters...

Install DD, DCL, Devious Carriages, start new game: Fine.

Install DD, DCL, disable Devious Carriages, start new game: Fine.

Install DD, DCL, start new game, install Devious Carriages: Fine.

Install DD, DCL, start new game, disable Devious Carriages: Not fine.

 

But since it sounded like you disabled it before starting a new game it's possible that you have some other mod still that is causing issues. You didn't post your load order. Also some DCL quests don't let you use carriages on purpose.
