SullenMan, you seem... sullen.

Apparently the concept of an alpha build eludes you -- as well as syntax and grammar.

Could someone please help me? When I talk to the guy in The Winking Skeever, it fades to black and completes the quest but it stays black and my crosshair starts blinking. It seems like I'm still in the bar though as I can hear everyone else talking. I really wanna try this mod as it seems great.

Have you tried multiple runs though of the event?  I've had several other mods where an area transition fails on one try, but it works fine after a reload.

I have gone through the event multiple times, and also tried different versions of the mod. I'll try again a few times I guess.

Might be the inventory strip failing, if you have too much stuff in your inventory.

Oh ok that might be it, I have the bandolier mod installed so I'll try with less stuff now.

I tried it with nothing in my inventory except for the clothes I had equipped. Are there any known mods that conflict with this one?

Hello:) Awesome mod! i managed to get to the cart bondage etc somehow! but when ahlam leaves and bjorlan(or w/e) gets up to take off, i cant go anywhere. so the question is, is the next part not coded yet? if so i guess i dont have to worry about it :P

Hi. In this thread I found that there is a second after-caged-part, the 'Do come back' letter in the chest near the cage points to it too. I can't find the connection between first and the second part of the quest.. Went to the Winking Skeever again - nobody there.. Or the message means that the player should go back to the Riften? Or it's the real part of the puzzle? End of mod's content?

I need some enlightenment.

Oh, or, as the post above suggests, the next part was not done yet?

Hey all. Just got back from travelling abroad for work. Didn't have any internet access (that I could use for LL purposes) and I'm too wiped out now to reply in detail.

More tomorrow.

That's the end of the quest for now.

After a couple of days a courier will contact you for the next part.

The next quest isn't done yet, but you can start it.  I think you currently need to read the note when in whiterun for it to work, and then you should get a marker to go to the whiterun wagon driver to continue.

thank you. courier could just throw his letter onto the ground or somewhere else cuz arm-binded folk can't read from inventory, lol

really well done, was lolling a lot (until the things get red)

the cart scene it could be rigged so if the player cheats and fast travels she gets fucked by the watchers while the guy goes to the pub to drink

but if the player didnt fast travel he would catch onto them and progress through the story but i dont know how you could rig a check for that

instead of the blurs have you thought about removing them and instead use text on the top left to pop up once every 10 seconds to say your extremely horny or something ?

later ill try something out for the first run i have a fealing the zaz mcm menu thing could be the blur effect

i like what youve done so far. the foot step sounds stopped working from time to time and then bunching up all at once, but other than that, it wasa smooth run.

The footsteps sound issue is nothing to do with the mod itself. That's a general vanilla game issue, cause by the game engine being too busy loading in environmental resources (swapping from LOD to high poly meshes as you move across landscape), and other NPCs, to play the footsteps. Then it plays catch up with the sounds when it's free to do so again.

Next time that happens, keep an eye on your hard drive activity light. I pretty much guarantee it will be busy during those 'events'.

Ok so I finished the quest. I did it while ago but hadn't time to post results.

Possibly same problems were described before so I will write in few words so if you need better description just ask.

-Crash after Bjorlam wanting to go to get a drink (which I guess it's normal 'cause you didn't finished it yet)
-Positioning in carriage when bound, sometimes one leg is up and character moves up and down fast, it looks ugly.

-Bug when you choose to get items on yourself by yourself (guess you didn't finished this part)

-When I was getting devices on Bjorlam was moving around me before talking again.

-When Bjorlam controls the body of character, it tends to turning around continuously.

That is all I know for now. I'm sure that you know about this bugs. So if you do ignore this message and go on. I hope for the next update! :D Cheers my friend!

I'm really liking the mod so far. However, the Bjorlam part is in need of some trimming, I think. There's a lot of stuff in there that I think could be condensed, sped up, or removed. It kind of carries on for a bit and there are lots of opportunities for it to get bugged. Does the scene continue any further past the part where the player automatically walks into the cart? I can never get any further than that. Everyone just stands around occasionally spinning in circles.

Also, is the key in the chest at the end of the first race supposed to remove the devious gear when you pick it up? Because it wouldn't do that for me and it seems like it should since the next step in the quest line is Bjorlam removing it anyways.

Finally, in the note you get while in the cage the final line reads: "We'd wish you luck, but we know you're going to need it." This doesn't make a lot of sense. It basically says "we'd wish you luck, but since you need it we can't." Logically, it should just say "Good luck." But I think I get what you're going for. You're trying to have the letter be disparaging to kind of put the player character down a bit. In that case maybe it could say "We'd wish you luck, but luck is clearly not on your side," or "We'd wish you luck, but luck doesn't seem to like you anyways." Something to that effect, perhaps?

This is a WIP. There are bound to be problems... and it does end abruptly for now.

The key is not supposed to remove the devices. It's just a door key.

Replace the word "can't" with "won't." These are not nice people. :)

Trimmed? It was the most fun part actually.. As for me, the scene ended with Bjorlam chaining my toon in the cart to prevent 'damage during transporting' and then walking down to the ground.

Simply saying, they don't want to wish you luck..

shame the game doesnt have guys in citys like on oblivion it had the black horse courier giving leaflets to people if it did then it could have 1 person in each city giving out leaflets like dragonborn seen running around skyrim in the nude
