Vaukalak Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Please, don`t touch M`aiq. Â This guy has been around since Morrowind, he`s never been up to anything and let it stay this way.
DocClox Posted August 11, 2014 Author Posted August 11, 2014 That's what I meant by "plausible deniability". The only way I'd use him would be if there was an equally valid interpretation of events that left him innocent of all charges. Â I like M'aiq the way he is.
jfraser Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Having played none of the other ES games, I was unaware of that.
Warrunner Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Installed the mod along with slavetats and the requirements therein, and it started kicking back "This save relies on items no longer present, would you like to continue?" errors. When I loaded in, it completely removed all my inventory, my hair, and reset my completed main quest back to stage 1. Â I don't even know.
DocClox Posted August 11, 2014 Author Posted August 11, 2014 Wow. That's impresive. I have no idea how to make it do that if I wanted to. Â Actually, that sounds a lot like a corrupted save. I had that happen once and that was exactly the result. Â Can you try from an earlier save. Preferably keeping a copy and making sure it loads without QAYL first. Â Also, note that we're not compatible with the latest Slavetats or JContainers yet, mainly because JC broke backwards compatibility and a lot of mods have still to catch up. Â Hmm... JContainers would be my second guess, come to think of it. Â [edit] Â Added an incompatibility warning in red text to the d/l page.
Content Consumer Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Warrunner: I had this happen a couple of times in Fallout 3, and once in Skyrim. In FO3, it popped a message saying items no longer present, removed all items, reset appearance, reset all quests, and placed me in the exact center of the game map. Same for Skyrim, but didn't place me anywhere, just loaded me where it left me off. My problem was this: I had unknowingly gone over the 255 mod limit. How many mods are you running now?
Warrunner Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 It's got to be JContainer; it was doing it with RaceMenu thing required for slavetats and without. I'm not using over 255 mods.
plans512 Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 dont know why but i cant start the mission it is saying i need to be alone and no one is with me can someone helpÂ
Warrunner Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I got it working by deleting JContainers and a couple of random, unused mods in case it was the 255 mods thing, even though the count for me was like 199. Â So.... very nice. Worked pretty well; gonna be interesting to see further quests. I will say this: some of the notes at the end worked out of order. It also entertainingly mixed with Deviously Helpless and Soulgem Oven; my poor ponygirl was incubating like 19 soulgems by the time she got her stuff back.

lil.pipsqueak Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Tried this mod today.  The dialog was amusing.  Reloaded a couple times to try different responses and see how short and long the conversation could go (it's the small stuff like dialog that can really make or break a mod imo, and you did a good job).  I finally let him buy me the drink when he offered to flip a coin.  Then I tried to see how long I could keep him talking after that. Those dialog lines were not wasted.  I made sure of that for you.  And then there was the race.  Here are my experiences:  1. Once the race started, I was attacked instantly (the screen was still fading in) and by the time I had control, I was almost dead and was gleefully slaughtered before I could do anything.  This happened 2 of the 3 times I spawned.  I suspect this is one of my other mods generating stuff, but I mention this because I couldn't find the note I was supposed to read for the longest time, and if there's a time constraint at all, it's too easy to miss.  Think I read somewhere that you're looking at doing more for the race start (and other races and their starts).  If so, then I assume the note will be replaced with an announcer or starting line judge?  I have this mental image of other racers standing there, waiting for someone to finish reading or stating the rules and then ... just before someone yells 'go', one of the contestants starts to run early... and the crowd jeers.  Then the judge yells 'GO!' and the other racers hurry to catch up.  Ooh... assuming there isn't a penalty for a false start.  2. So the solo race was on... but I didn't run yet... I eyeballed the custom tattoos... ... kudos on those.  Especially the seared 'brand' on the back shoulder.  3. So as I was saying... the race was on... so... since no one was around, either I was already in last place or I was the only runner.  So I took the time to wiggle out of the armbinder so I could consult the map to figure out where I was and where exactly I needed to be running.  Then I ran.  Each time I got attacked, I'd keep running until I was beat down enough that Defeat would kick in.  Then I'd get up and keep running again.  Until Riften... once I got just west of Riften, Deviously Helpless kicked in and a group of bandits decided to give chase.  I realized later why I could outrun them, but ended up leading them halfway to Whiterun before I messed up and they caught me.  And much to my annoyance, they put the armbinder I'd gotten off earlier back on.  4. After this, I decided to stop using roads and go cross-country... and was making some great escapes swan-diving off cliffs into lakes below to escape wolves and bears... and then fell victim to a lurking CTD hding behind some trees that consumed all.  So... I didn't finish the race, and have no idea how much content I may have missed.  I think I isolated the offending mod that caused the CTD, but doing some testing before I try again.   Anyway... great mod.  I look forward to seeing what else you do with this mod.   One final thought: I tried the race a second time (reloaded from just after the starting line), but this time, I made sure I turned on Skyrim Heart Rate (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35050/?) and it was a different race completely.  Â

I'm glad you got it sorted out. I was worried there ...  I've stuck a warning in red on the d/l page to try and minimise the number of people who get caught by this.  So.... very nice. Worked pretty well; gonna be interesting to see further quests. I will say this: some of the notes at the end worked out of order. Thank you It occurred to me one day that the best way to handle the drinks being obviously drugged was to have the PC say "these drinks are obviously drugged" and then present a plausible way around the problem. Nice to see that it works.  1. Once the race started, I was attacked instantly (the screen was still fading in) and by the time I had control, I was almost dead and was gleefully slaughtered before I could do anything. I suspect this is one of my other mods generating stuff, but I mention this because I couldn't find the note I was supposed to read for the longest time, and if there's a time constraint at all, it's too easy to miss. Well, I don't spawn anything at the start and the nearest hostile is some random encounter on a horse just down the road a ways. The note has a quest marker on it ... which should make finding it very easy, although you do need time to select the quest from the journal, I suppose. I'd have been tempted to try and kite the attackers off up the pass that runs parallel to the gate and then loop back round and see if I could lose them for long enough to find the note.  That said, I have done that bit quite a few times by now, so I know the area quite well  Think I read somewhere that you're looking at doing more for the race start (and other races and their starts). If so, then I assume the note will be replaced with an announcer or starting line judge? The first run is going to remain a solo outing, I think. I was going to turn it into a proper race, but I decided to leave this one as it is and start the racing with the next one. That one will have a race judge/announcer figure.  I have this mental image of other racers standing there, waiting for someone to finish reading or stating the rules and then ... just before someone yells 'go', one of the contestants starts to run early... and the crowd jeers. Then the judge yells 'GO!' and the other racers hurry to catch up. Ooh... assuming there isn't a penalty for a false start. ... which probably isn't a safe assumption, but try it by all means   2. The current version of QAYL lists three deleted navmesh records when I check it for UDRs. I think I'm going to have to fix that. Looks like a right pain to do as well.  Anyway... great mod. I look forward to seeing what else you do with this mod. Thanks! I'm guessing some limitation in sprinting and a heart-beat sound effect?

I'm guessing some limitation in sprinting and a heart-beat sound effect?  It increases/ decreases your heart rate based on what your activity level is and adjusts stamina accordingly. Makes it advantageous to rest to lower your heart rate. Also add heart beat sounds. I have used this mod since it came out and actually had to look up what the effects were, I am so used to it. I turn up the volume of the heart beat and set health, stamina, and magic to 50% drained. Adds a sense of urgency when running to escape something and melee fighting.
Vaukalak Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Interesting. What does it actually do? All the headings link to the author's web site where he says why he made the mod by stops short of saying what it does. I'm guessing some limitation in sprinting and a heart-beat sound effect? Â From mod`s page: Â Managing your heart rate Your heart rate modifies your stamina regeneration. This is in both directions, so it is not simply a boost. A high heart rate will increase your stamina regeneration, while a low one will do the opposite. Increasing your heart rate comes quite naturally, whenever you do something of high physical effort. To lower your heart rate, simply relax. Sit down, stop running or stop fighting. Â Managing your Long Term Stamina Your long term stamina modifies your stamina. Again, this is in both directions, so a high amount will grant you some extra stamina, and vice versa. Furthermore, you will get a bit slower, when you reach very low amounts of LTS. LTS will decrease / increase depending on your heart rate. Keeping a high heart rate, will cause your LTS to decrease. Keeping an even higher heart rate, will cause it to decrease faster. To restore your LTS you will need to keep a low heart rate, and this is why it may actually be attractive to relax. Â So, basically, the more you run - the more stamina regen but less max. stamina.
DocClox Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 dont know why but i cant start the mission it is saying i need to be alone and no one is with me can someone help  Whoa, sorry there! I meant to answer this one in my last post and lsot track of it somehow.  Go to a city. If you're in a city go to another one. Or nip into a shop and back out. The courier should turn up with a note for you. I probably didn't give it a fair chance. I never did get used to the whole "all I have on my nexus mod page is banners pointing at my web site" thing.  I might try it out. Could make a useful addition to the "recommended mods" section from the sound of it.

In a marathon run like this, that speed penalty will kick in over and over, and eventually slow you down to a walk if you don't intentionally rest along the way. badbat111 Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 with the if you catch me you can have me tattoo have you thought about having a male behind the player with a bit of distance so if they catch upto the player they use the player ? maybe even sex tolls i cant remember where but when i first loaded up the game for the first time there was some bandits that said something about paying to go through or find another way toll places could be added but instead of septiem it could be to fuck them but doing that would make the player lose a bit of time a mcm menu would be nice for that so those who want to do it without to much sex can tick to deactivate the bandits
DocClox Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 with the if you catch me you can have me tattoo have you thought about having a male behind the player with a bit of distance so if they catch upto the player they use the player ?  Yeah, that is going to happen at some point  when i first loaded up the game for the first time there was some bandits that said something about paying to go through or find another way toll places could be added but instead of septiem it could be to fuck them  Possible. I think I'd prefer to leave random sex-tolls to other mods. I do have some other ideas along the same general lines though
destroyer1012 Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 well when i got to the cage and did everything there went into the cage where it forced shut as i figured then i read the note inside the cage (read all 3 notes provided) slept for 12 hours but quest dint advance and cage door dint unlock so my question would be is there a specific amount of time tht u have to sleep for? in the instance of like 24 hours or should 12 hours have been long enough
r5e4w3q2 Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 New profile image and it gives me an urge to sing "My Favorite Things", but I have no idea how to get degrading tattoos and chastity belts to rhymeÂ
DocClox Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 @destroyer1012: it's random, but somewhere between 8 and 24 hours. Â @r5e4w3q2: I like it!
Content Consumer Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Tattoos on buttocks and iron-covered nethers Bright sun on bare skin and arms tied together Beeing a package all tied up with strings These are a few of my favorite things  Cream in my pussy and plugged orificies Pony boots on my feet without permission Bodyparts bound up with metallic rings These are a few of my favorite things  Girls in steel belts tied with black leather sashes White cum like snow on my nose and eyelashes Unsavory bandits all pull out their things These are a few of my favorite things  When the wolf bites, when the spider stings When I'm feeling slow I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so low  I know that chastity belts aren't actually part of the QAYL ensemble, but I'm not a very good wordsmith and I had to make what rhymes I could.
