Vaukalak Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 So ... no one noticed the meatstamp's other effect yet? You mean the one that makes you super aroused if not wearing armbinder during the race?
badbat111 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 after downloading the 2 new versions the human female types have a black body but argonians and khajiits have proper body it goes from neck to toe even hands are black i dont know how to fix it >.<
DocClox Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 That sounds like running out of vram for skin textures. Used to happen to me all the time before long before I started with this mod. Does saving, quitting and reloading clear the problem? [edit] It could also, conceivably be caused by a lack of mipmaps in the overlay textures. I know the CBBE textures used to have this problem for a long time. I wish I understood dds format and textures in general a little better sometimes. I did have a couple of black-skin-texture events jsut recently; my first in ages. So that may be the issue. I can try adding mipmaps and see if that helps. @aqqh: Different topic entirely, but what needs mod do you use? I might have a more immersive solution to your problem, assuming I can find a way to find your toons hunger and thirst levels.
badbat111 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 no i even deleted old saves and started a new character but it still happens i use the unp body i think its called i dont know if its clashing with the new update
DocClox Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 wait - you start a new character and she starts out black? Or only after you start the quest?
badbat111 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 starts out black its odd how khajiits and argonians have normal color but human types like elfs nords imperials and so on have black body from neck to toe
DocClox Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Khajiit and Argonians have their own skin textures, so they wouldn't be affected. If you're starting out black, it's unlikely to be the tats - you get your tattoo database cleared for a new character. You haven't installed any new skin texture packs or overlays lately, have you?
badbat111 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 no just quick as you like the 2 new versions 0.2.6.2: 0.2.6.1:
DocClox Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Can you load a save from before the black event? Are they also blacked out? I had a black skin event, but on subsequent tests my toon was nornal again. I've also raised this on the slavetats thread. There are folks there who know a lot more about netimmerse and dds than I do. Maybe they'll have some ideas. [edit] @Vaukalak: Oh yeah. Big time
badbat111 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 i delete my saves when i make a new character to prevent data or bodge ups ill try again in a few mins
judge0 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 New script removes tats just fine, including locked. Thanks
r5e4w3q2 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 As a note to future self as well to maybe help anyone else with the blur problem, console command "rimodcf" seems to fix it.
DocClox Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Good to know. If it happens again, a log file would be handy. That said ... with a bit of luck I can stop it happening again. I'm thinking if I put the fade up effect in a spell, I can have it on a set duration with the effect end event removing the imagespace modifier. Then it won't matter if the start of the quest glitches and derails one of the event callbacks: the spell will still be running and on its own timer. I don't know why I didn't think of it before...
Ashra XIII Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I'm curious... does the solvent remove any Slavetats, or just the ones added by this mod? There was a suggestion in another area of the forums to maybe create an addon to Sexlab Defeat that adds Slavetats to a character in the way that Devious Captures adds devices, and I thought this would be a cool idea, especially if the solvent added by QAYL worked on any Slavetats and then could be added to leveled lists so that it appears in loot chests and the like. Heck it could be something this mod does at some point, so that even when a girl isn't being put in the races, she's still getting marked up and reminded that her captors are still out there.
DocClox Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 I'm curious... does the solvent remove any Slavetats, or just the ones added by this mod? Currently, just this mod. Doable. I was planning on adding the solvent into the lists anyway. I'd want to do it in such a way that allowed mods to have tats that weren't unlocked by generic potions though Heck it could be something this mod does at some point, so that even when a girl isn't being put in the races, she's still getting marked up and reminded that her captors are still out there. That's probably going to happen, too
jordisslave Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I refuse to edit onto that mess :/ jordisslave, judge0: I just uploaded qayl_tatfix.7z to the download area. It's got a couple of loose script files inside. Copy the pex file to Data/scripts restart skyrim and the Super Secret Emergency Tattoo Remover should clear ALL slots and not just ones QAYL is supposed to use. The code will also be in the next full relase As if by magic the tattoo disappeared! Thankyou. Clean again, temporarily, anyway.

You see, some friend o'mine knows how to completely remove these. However, you're gonna have to do something for us, just a lil' game. But if you lose, you might end up with much more of these degrading tattoos on ya. So, what do you say miss?"

Any information learned is bound to be useful at some point. Intrigued by the netimmerse file in particular. Thank you for your help.

That would be a hell of a hook to get someone into the QAYL quest, I must admit Drink Eat Sleep Bathe 20 at defalut settings guess would change to ineed or something I should be able to work with that ************** I've run the tats through ddsopt which has helpfully added missing mipmaps. A quick test shows the tats looking just as good (or bad) at less than half the size and with mipmaps included. So hopefully that'll help anyone getting black skin issues. I'll upload that later on tonight. Still not sure why badbat is starting with black textures though. Maybe the mipmaps will help. Apart from that, I have some alchemist's dialogue to write. I think that's the next thing. Or an MCM screen. Or something else entirely, I suppose. These things never seem to go entirely to plan
windu190 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I'm curious to see when these will become actual races with other contenders
