mybrainhurts Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Let me try to be clearer. The problem is that an NPC used in Animal Mansion, does not look the modded version of that NPC. The version of that NPC created and used by Animal Mansion is not based on an ActorBase. (Take a look at Animal Mansion in the CK: the NPC's ActorBase is set to "NONE".) The fix is simple. Edit the Animal Mansion NPC: set ActorBase to the NPC in question (AelaTheHuntress for example), check "use Traits". The NPC created and used by Animal Mansion now looks like the modded version regardless of the overhaul mod used by any particular player. It's a trivial edit but for players who don't/can't use the CK I imagine it would be a welcome one.
darkconsole Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 this used to work more or less ok for me, but in this new savegame mens night is always bugged - only 3 of the 4 men show up so the last i can never do and finish the quest. also the spider room almost never works anymore for some reason - i take a guest to it and it never triggers the next step to tell them to sit down.
gelgaroth Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Whenever I talk to a creature to start having sex nothing happens after the dialogue disappears. I've got all the required mods and such and always have creature turned on. Leaving the cell and coming back doesn't work, saving and loading again doesn't work, and I've tried it with both versions of the file on the download page. Is there a way to get it to work? I'm stuck in jorrvastkr unable to start the competition.
Neodarkside Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 First of all, have you tried using Matchmaker to get animals to have sex with you? Its the easiest way to test if your animations are correctly loaded. If they work with Matchmaker, then not sure. If they do not work, then you are missing something, most common problem being the box marked "enable animal animations" or something like that in Sexlab, others are not updating FNIS and FNIS creature. As for the companions, that one tends to be buggy for a lot of people, the wolves dislike getting to their starting spots, could try targeting one and opening console and type TC to take control of the wolf and move it. I really think Sky_mds needs to add a button on the wall of the companions place to reset the wolves to where they belong, or simply have them spawn when the girls line up.

Tried moving around ect, using TC to move the wolf to it, Nothing seems to be working.

I've been seeing that occasionally with humanoid NPCs lately (although not on this mod specifically). Trying save/exit/reload, or disable/enable, or resetai, or kill/resurrect sometimes fixes it. Next time it happens I'm going to try Matchmaker on it and after the animation is done, see if its dialogue isn't back. Maybe give that a shot? But if nothing works then you'll have to manually advance the quest to its next stage.

I don't think I have matchmaker, I have enchantress though, tried that, no dialogue after sex there either. works fine elsewhere in the mod but not with the companion wolves for what ever reason.

I can enter the mansion, get customers/partys, talk to the animals, complete the quests.The only problem is it doesnt trigger any animations, neither creature nor human, although other mods like Tame Beast (creature sex) or Radiant Prostitution(regular sex).Creatures just respond with . or ...I've Bossed, Cleaned, FNISed and reread(?) Sometimes one horse will work, a black one I bought in Whiterun. He'll get down and going at it, but not all the time, and not all the time even in the same save. Plink him and Lydia with the 'irresistable aura' spell from Sexlab Matchmaker, they teleport to each other, and maybe 10% of the time any animations happen. Adding penises would be nice, too. Giving a handjob to thin air looks a little silly.

The next thing is that I don't want to release a new version just because there is one quest or one tiny detail that is new so the next version may take a while but there will be new stuff in it. If there's a problem with the mod not working for you please check if you have everything required. If it works for everybody else it should work for you too, so double check if everything is right on your side.

Rieklings should actually have their own kind of mod, become the whore-Queen of Solstheim's riekling population

The troll is already not so much an animal but a monster. Anyway I want to finish the mod one day so I'll focus on animals only.
