No worries! The more information the better. I came across something (I use MO) and to the right of "BehaviorredObjects" it says in red, FNIS Creature Pack. Not sure if that has anything to do with anything but maybe its an indication of something? 

 

And do you have that installed? FNIS creature pack.

 

 

Yup, I do. Don't know why it may be saying I don't (if that's what the red outline represents).

So you're seeing these animations when they're called up by other mods, but not when they are called by Animal Mansion?  You've checked all the creatures that Animal Mansion uses and they all work via other mod(s)?  Is that right?  It can't be a FNIS issue otherwise you wouldn't see them at all.  You mentioned ZaZ, but that has no creature anims.  This problem you're having seems almost impossible!  Bizarre in any case ... .  Regarding load order: have you tried putting AM at the end of your load order?  Maybe something's getting over-written if it is too near the top of your order.

Tried putting it at the bottom, still the animations didn't follow through. With all the issues I'm having would it be best to just start a new game? I know for SD+ that worked (chance of enslavement was stuck at 5% but changed to 100 once I started a new game).

 

 

FrankMarlowe, BOSS shows no errors. I should probably note that I have a lot of mods that are in the "overwrite" section of MO. Not sure how to move them out but my ignorance could be the result of the issues I'm having.

I'm having an issue with this mod. I am doing a party and the troll worked fine. But then the second animal was a bear and I am unable to initiate dialogue with it, which means that I can't start any animation. Unlike some people who can start dialogue, but not initiate the animation I cannot even talk to the bear. Activating it in the console does nothing. There isn't even any promt to press E when I look at it.

I've had this error for a while but nothing came of it.

Nevermind. I reinstalled the mod and the issue vanished.

I haven't updated BOSS in a while, so there's got to be a later version. I'll need to figure out how to update and re-add to MO, because it's been a while since I've added a program to it. If I got LOOT instead, would I use the same method in installing BOSS, with LOOT?

 

Also I started a new game. So I'll see if the animations work this time. It also looks like Zaz just released an update today, and there's concern of some of the renames potentially giving other mods a hard time.

LOOT replaces BOSS, consider BOSS as an obsolete bit of software now (at least for Skyrim).

From my understanding, a lot of mods go through dead spells, because the creator is either hard at work, or caught up with life outside the internet. Remember, everyone on this site has a life outside the net, some more than others. And I don't mean that as an insult, just that there's some contributors who don't get to spend much time on this. There's work/school, life in general, social life, family life, personal time, and then, if there's anything left over and hte motivation is there, then they work on this stuff.

 

Sometimes the dead spells can go for loooooooong-ass times before it gets picked back up again. So have some patience, and have some faith. Good things come to those who wait, yadda yadda... You get where I going with this.

any update on what the mod creator is working on right now? I'm anxious for another update.

Quest organization - so not all of them would be available all the time

new quests - jarl party, quests for acquiring new animals.

 

Wouldn't expect anything else than that - or even all of those.

But who knows - maybe he would surprise us  :P

Alright I downloaded LOOT and ran it on my load order. I have a few that are highlighted in blue. I'm not sure what they mean but I'm going to follow the calculated load order and see what happens once I go in-game.

I'm having a bit of an issue with the horse quest, Bareback Riding.  When I accept the quest, It shows in my journal and says to talk to the hostler in Whiterun. However, I do not get a quest marker, and speaking with the owner of the stables gives no additional dialogue choices.  Did this happen because I already bought the horse?

Are you saying you've done the quest before? Or do you mean that you've bought the vanilla travel horse from the stables? There should be a dialogue option where he redirects you to another stable

I've bought the vanilla horse from him before, he tells me that he sold his last horse to someone who looks like me.  Whenever I talk to him, these are the only dialogue choices I have.  If you can't see the image, it's

Where is this mansion? It's been two hours and I still can't find the freaking place. Not outside Falkreath, not inside. And I can't even get a console location on it.

Wrong npc man...

 

You are supposed to talk with Skulvar Sable-Hilt. And you are talking with his son.

But if hes son is selling horses then apperently on your save Skulvar is dead - likely got killed by someone/thing. If you got dawnguard DLC thenvery likely deathounds during vampire attack on Whiterun. That event usually leads to hes death unless you would do a crazy rush on those deathounds to save hes life.

Which most likely mean you are screwed - you wont be able to progress this quest. Ever. That is without using console commands to either ressurect whiterun stable master (Skulvar) or fastforward to next stage of this quest.

The animal mansion V 0.1m:

 

The user CGi offered me help by creating interior cells and extending the mansion. So now because of the wonderful work he has done the mansion looks much more detailed and a lot better than before.

 

There are several bugfixes and some tweaks which hopefully make the mod run a little bit better. There are also some new variations for the party and the private shows.

Now the player has to have sex with an animal only once. The party dialogue with the guests is now optional so you should still be able to continue if there's a problem.

 

Make sure you start out with a clean save. Please check if you have everything installed and everything is working and if there's a problem please ask in this thread because there are a lot of people smarter than me who can help you a lot better than I can. So ask here first if you have a problem.

 

 

Future plans:

 

I am still adding dialogue and I am going to make the rest of the animal quests as soon as possible. I will also make a quest or two to start the whole thing and give the player an idea how to get to the mansion and a reason to work there. After the quests to get the animals are done and everything works, I am going to add the Jarl Party and some "standard" party variations so you don't get bored too quickly.
