The Animal Mansion

grrr, I've been trying for more than an hour to make a clean save, but every time I try to load a game without the Animal Mansion mod, I get a CTD.

 

I want to be able to start the quest from the begining, I tried it without making a clean save and it worked after a fashion. The Inn was full of people and I could talk to Thaena as if things were normal AND start the new main quest. It crashed as soon as I tried to screw Bailey @ deadmansdrink. 

 

When you do a clean save, I hope you also clean your save with save cleaner tool. otherwise the game is reading lose files and makes a conflict with the new version of the mod.

Normally I just save, wait 1-2 days. Save again, remove the mod. Load game, wait 2 days save again, try mod again.

 

In times past, when I've used the save tool, it's completely FUCKED UP all my household items I've put into my home. I use Bert's Breezehome Remodel, and no other player home mod. And as I've said, when I've used a clean tool in the past, everything is lost from all the containers.

Alright I checked everything again and I made it so that The main mansion quest is started and set to stage 1 and there is also a questmarker pointing to Thaena and THAT will hopefully work and don't cause confusion about what to do. Furthermore I checked the Jarl Quest and it worked for me. I checked everything and it seems to be ok.

 

@JXM: I changed the women in the companion parties to be naked all the time.

 

I uploaded a new version of the mod. MAKE SURE YOU START WITH A CLEAN SAVE. Then try again. Sorry for the inconvenience. I guess the problems come for the many changes that were made.

 

@aqqh: During SexLab Animations there is no dialogue displayed. They are there but not shown. I tried that already and it never worked for me so I can't make Thaena say that kind of things. Maybe I did something wrong. If anybody knows how to do that, it would be great if you told me. As for Jala, she is meant to be just a waitress ( for now ).

Well i ment something that would work like those scenes on private shows - when client start to cheer when scene starts.

That PC and dog plays animation and 3rd actor - that is idling - would say something.

Old Paarthurnax has some special needs that require your special skills.
(Note: You must have met Paarthurnax already in the main quest AND he needs to be alive for this to work)

 

If your using a mod like the paarthurnax dilemma

basically lets you tell the blades that you won't kill him so they'd best learn to live with your decision so you can advance the blades quest without killing paarthurnax

The Pleasing Paarthurnax quest checks if you have met Paarthurnax already and if he is still alive. That's it. I don't think that another quest/mod should cause problems.

2 hours later I got things working and did an 1/2 play through to the Bear quest and a few private shows and 1 party so far.

 

Bailey had a problem following me from dead man's drink. After I selecting him and moved via console, I fixed that but now's he's dissapeared again. 

 

Jala had a problem with following me around even after I completed her quest, she stopped after I found the new dog.

 

My 1st private show client also had an issue with not following me so I used to console to move her but she kept walking out of the room.

 

Everything after that is going smoothly. 

 

I like the fact that the Companions reflect how I've changed them in my own mods instead of the vanilla version.

Hopefully fixed a bug with the thugs in the starting quest and also fixed a bug with the wizard quest and I also tried to fix the npc following problems in the starting quest.

The "Strange Guest" one did not work. Draugr appeared, would not do anything. Talked to guest and the quest was complete. Tried it several times because I had quicksaved beforehand.

 

EDIT: I was still on 4A when I did that quest, have not tried it with 4B

That is the "problem " of Nasty critters mod if you have it or any other mod that is dealing with humanlike creatures animations. When tested this mod, it worked for me. So check you animation mod, please.

Was just coming to report this, for me it spawned to female thugs but then referred to them as gents and no sex happened when i picked that dialogue.

 

Other than that everything is working, up to the go find a horse quest
