Have a guess

That is just a rock, you should read the OP.

But... But.. But... Sahloknir's dragon mound near Kynesgrove. :shy:

Have a Morrowind screenshot, (not part of competition).

Not enough there for me.

Perhaps some clues. Important in what way?

The mountain to the right has two names.

One of them is "Monahven"

Crap.

I should have recognized the Throat of the World. I go through there daily well not really, but often enough.

I have IP installed and there is always a battle going on there.

Yes, you are correct it is an important although unmarked location.

Maybe not part of the competition, but... I could swear I was just there a couple of weeks ago. I think the Fields of Kummu are nearby? I *think* that's the right place anyway...

Ignore the map marker, I modded that in because it's an important location.  ^_^

At first I thought it was the entrance to the valley of Fort Dawnguard, but... it's a little pass high up on High Hrothgar, right? EDIT: Ninja'd. :)

It's actually not very well traveled. There's no direct path between anywhere major that takes you along that pass, and from any sort of distance it looks like there's no way up there. It's one of those hidden little areas that few people see.

You know, I've never played Morrowind.

Just that new to TES. Some Oblivion (because I thought Skyrim will be a continuation of that), then Skyrim.

Wait, another smaller pass? I was thinking it was the one by Haemar's Shame, no?

Mechanics-wise, if you're used to Skyrim (or even Oblivion), you'll have a hard time getting into Morrowind. It'll be brutally unforgiving, with a very steep learning curve, particularly if you're coming from an easier game like Skyrim.

But in my opinion it has the best story and atmosphere of any of the ES games so far, no contest.

I started a thread about this a while back, actually. Of course, since then I have gotten back into Morrowind, so I guess the whole "can't play it anymore" was bullshit. :)

After I played Crysis 2, I said I could not play Crysis 1 again. But then I realized just how much better Crysis 1 was.

I have played Crysis 3 only to the end of the first mission, even though I've preordered it.

I'm yet to play my preordered FO4.

It's kind of dark, but it does show the general location along with the map marker I added.

This pass can half the journey from Whiterun to Ivarstead.

I did not know about that pass. Next time I'm helplessly bound in an unescapable armbinder after failing a delivery, I will look for that pass.   ^_^

Holy cow, that's right! And you won't have to worry about the bandits at the fort strolling out and demanding spare change, or if you go the other way you won't have to deal with the blizzard (I've got a weather mod that makes blizzards nearly impossible to walk through).

I've got to remember that next time!

Spot on, little farm near it. You're not allowed a cookie though.
