That is indeed Stendarr's Beacon in the distance, but where is my PC standing?

Urgh... there's a word wall there, can't remember the name of it. Lemme check the map...

Lost Tongue Overlook?

EDIT: Actually, now that I look at it, that looks a bit farther away than Lost Tongue Overlook.

I don't know where this is after all. :)

No, you're right, it's Lost Tongue Overlook.

Then I guess I don't know what I don't know.

My in-game map calls it "Toadstool Ring", but whatever it's called, you've got it, that's it.

Hmm... that's not bad, well, my map does not show it, it's an unmarked location for me.

Oh well, nevermind it, let's get back to the topic.

See ya !

"Toadstool Ring" comes from Atlas Map Markers. A very good mod, btw, takes care of all of the little places you'd otherwise not notice. :)

Right, I'm using Atlas Map Markers, which I guess is why it's marked on my map.  The UESP wiki map (if you zoom in far enough north of Twilight Sepulcher and west of the nearby Shrine of Akatosh) shows it as "Father of The Niben", which is the book found at that location.

Heh... actually, the map isn't showing the place as Father of the Niben, it's just listing the book:D

I didn't realize that when I first started using the map. Zoomed in on a little exterior Nord ruin just south of Winterhold and saw "Mannimarco, King of Worms" and wondered why the hell I'd never seen him there.

This one might be a bit harder.  It's not marked in any way on the UESP map, but Atlas Map Markers does have a marker for it.

I want to say it's that Hagraven camp just south of Ragnvald, up the hill a bit. Like halfway between Rangvald and Markarth.

Thing is, I don't remember there being stakes there, so I might be mistaken...

Wow, you got it!  I salute you!

Riverwood, (although that barrow full of cabbages is empty in my games)

Windhelm, (because the shoddy attitude to public safety which comes with your average racist means that icicle is probably going to injure someone at some point).

Yay, correct!

I have to admit that I recognized it quickly because on my first couple of play-throughs I was too stupid to know that the way to Sundered Towers was through Red Eagle's Ascent, and instead started where your PC is and climbed down the cliff.   :P

I still do that all the time. Depending on where you're coming from, it's easier than walking around to the actual entrance.

Yeah, speaking of which, what did you do to Master? Not that she doesn't look supper good DDe'ed like that. I hope she punished you for doing that? Like DDe'ing you with the cursed CD DDs. ;)

Got frustrated because in CD 4.05 she keeps releasing me when she shouldn't.

And obviously that was the Captured Dreams Shop.
