Can I check something please?

 

Which version(s) of Estrus from NEXUS can/do we need to run this OK?

 

and   

 

Do you use this - successfully - with

 

AE 1.6.1170?

 

with

 

the Estrus esp enabled? and/or

OAR? and/or

OAR + DD NG?

 

I've read various tales on Discord, LL, and NEXUS as to AE compatibility, or not, and OAR picking up Estrus animations, technically correctly, but inappropriately when OAR is being used with other mods

 

Any help/advice on the best setup would be welcome

So - I'm still using the files from EstrusForSkyrimSE V245 with the ESP disabled on AE 1.6.1170

 

I do use OAR but not for Estrus Chaurus - I'm using the original anims and building with Pandora Behaviour Engine Plus (I no longer use FNIS)

 

This works perfectly for me.

Just for info. There are some missing animations with the latest version of Pandora. What works for me is the older version 2.4.0 beta with the hotfix 2.4.0 beta.

Dont suppose youre using estrus mimic redux are you?  Can't get it to play animations, the rest of the mod works

MCM wont show. It loads normaly, but when you choose any tab it stucks. After closing menu everything repeats. But mod itself still working.

Before I never experienced this problem, recently I updated to SL P+, maybe this cause problem.

 

If someone faced this too, please, reply.

I edited zzestruschaurusaliasscript and zzEstrusBreederEffectScript to use Nioverride Set Morph functions instead of XPMSE set scale functions.

 

What this means is that you can use racemenu morph sliders to change what nodes get affected during an infection. You can edit the node names in ECMorphNodes.json. I've set it up to use 3ba nodes.

do you mind telling me what sources you needed to compile those scripts? im having trouble finding them.

 

Edit: i put papyrus log tracers on your morph functions. they ain't firing.

Probably not. The function to morph nodes is called only once per body part but I am not sure how it would work if you add multiple values with the same key.

Also using SL+ and having issues. mod loads, mcm shows, but animations do not register. I have estrus 245, skyrim 1.6.1170.

for anybody having issues with sl+ you need a patch available here

Hello. For some reason it won’t let me select or toggle pregnancy at all. I click on it and nothing happens like no check mark or anything.

SOLVED:
for anybody having issues with sl+ you need a patch available here 

 

 Did you test any further, were there no issues? (this patch is included in p+ animation conversion file btw)
I've been met with an issues where enemies would still attack me during animation and no infestation after. As if it was just a normal scene playing.

Edit: tested more, it seems that only tentacle attacks do not work even with animations patched, but normal scenes with chaurus register just fine.

I've been having a bit of an issue with EC+ and haven't been able to figure anything out. Basically, everything in the mod seems to work fine except that it won't apply any persistent effects to the character (immunity to attacks, parasite infection, etc). I am currently running Skyrim AE (1170), EC+ v4.390 SE. As far as I'm aware, none of its scripts are being overridden by any other mods.

 

Could just be that the mod isn't completely compatible anymore, I suppose. But I figured I'd ask around to be sure.

Since nobody else is reporting this I'm sure the mod is working fine - post a log of an EC scene and we can try and  work out what your issue is.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'll admit I don't really know what part of the log I'd be looking for as far as the EC scene specifically, because the only place I've been able to find EC even mentioned in the log is in all the initial loading stuff. The shortened log file just picks up from where the SL scene started. Hopefully that's correct, but if that doesn't help, I also attached the full file.

 

Could it be a problem between P+ and this mod? I see some entries from Sunhelm and Zaz during the scene, but I've used this mod with those before without issue.

 

And speaking of tools used, I suppose it'd be P+ version 2.15.6 and Pandora 2.7.0-beta.

If you are using P+ then I think you need This

 

I don't use P+ personally though so can't really offer support - if you need help it's best to ask in the P+ support thread.

I have that, and I followed the instructions here: 

 

The animations work just fine, as do triggering events such as the chaurus spit. The only part that doesn't seem to work is the impregnation on the character afterward.

Haven't seen any reports of this recently - assuming you are seeing the glow spell effect when impregnation takes place post a log of a Chaurus / tentacle event and I'll see if I can spot anything going on in your game
