The first log file(s) I sent had a full event in them. I had set the spit trigger chance to 100% and spawned in a chaurus for testing - animation started promptly and played through without issue.

 

I do not see the glow effect at all, no. The animations just end like they should and then nothing else happens.

 

Is there a way to set EC+ into, like, an extra debug mode so that it sends more information about each scene than what it did in my last log file?

 

Edit: Just to share a bit more about my troubleshooting so far, I can also confirm (probably?) that the effect itself (the one called chaurus breeder that's supposed to show up) seems to work fine. I gave myself a ring "enchanted" with it, and when I had that ring on it showed up in the effect list. My next steps are to fiddle around with the scripts a bit, I'll let you know if I find anything out.

Have you tested SL scene impregnation as well? Also, if testing don't fast forward animation stages as this can cause the script to miss the impregnation (and other) stages.

I'm not sure if this has already been solved/asked, but does anyone have any idea what could be causing the player character to lay down and go to bed instead of playing a birthing animation? It still locks me out of movement while the "animation" plays. I'm not sure if that is the animation that's supposed to be playing or not.

So I get an instant ctd when I try to load a save file made after an impregnation. I have done testing and reserved the problem to happen only after this condition. the crash log is very short and abruptly cuts off, being the same each time.crash-2025-10-24-15-33-02.log

The interesting thing is that the game plays fine after impregnation. no bugs, no crashes nothing. it only crashes when i exit the game and try to load that save. not only that, but the game will sometimes succeed in loading it and i can play just fine. any help is appreciated

I ran into a small issue when trying to use this mod. On the requirements it lists Estrus For Skyrim (Assets only), however, I was not able to locate that anywhere. The only thing I found was this

But there is no "assets only" file and all the downloads are for the wrong game version (I have version 1.6.1170) so it always causes a .dll error when trying to start the game.
Additionally, I was unable to locate "SKEE (SE)" which is also listed in the requirements. Maybe I'm just too bad to use google properly, but none of the results I get match exactly what is required. Would be nice if someone could send a couple urls my way.
Edit: Ok, appearently that's just part of the race morph thing which I've already got, so, not an issue. Still need a version of the estrus assets that matches my game version so that I can actually launch my game with it installed.

'Assets only' normally means installing the mod as usual, but NOT activating the esp in the plugin list, ie you untick it in the MO2 Right Hand Pane Plugin list.  That's what I've done since time immemorial, unless I wanted to include one of the Estrus mod addons in may game, which need the esp as they are dependent on it.

 

As for version, depends on which Skyrim you have.  SE could originally get away with the 240 version, showing up in MO2 as: EstrusForSkyrimV240-12832-2-40-1544293871

 

I now run latest AE and use, as in MO2: EstrusForSkyrimSE V245-12832-2-45-1574694668 USE THIS NO ESP.  Estrus Chaurus, and Spider run fine. 

 

REMEMBER to also register the animations shown in the Animation list page in its MCM

 

The 'USE THIS NO ESP' is my own reminder that I may not need to activate the esp.  In the game I currently am playing I have activated the plugin as I am using Estrus addons from Nexus

 

Note that 'Estrus Chaurus' is NOT a NEXUS addon and should not need the esp activated unless you require it for the reasons giveen

Can anyone help with a skeleton issue? I really need help.

According to FNIS, the skeleton is working fine. All animations are working. However, the pregnancy option won't work in Estrus Charus's options menu. Even though XPMSSE is installed correctly, all options remain dark. No matter what I do, my belly won't swell, and I can't change the body modification options. Even though I have the latest version of XPMSSE installed (Version 5.06), Estrus Charus's MCM says the XPMSSE version is 0.00.

Can you help? Please don't ignore this question.

I'm having issue with Estrus Chaurus MCM. MCM itself shows up fine, as does it's submenus. However MCM freezes whenever I try to open any of them.

Now the menus work, but after trying to register animations nothing happens, it just says it's checking animations after exiting menus but that's it

Can confirm that problem, its seems that latest skeleton is not recognizable by mod

 

Update: If anyone else having this problem, i've managed to fix it by reinstalling skeleton with extended option instead of a basic. Would probably be a good idea to add it into OP post.

Same issue, anims are working fine with spells and shout but for some reason do not show up in SL and the Db enchanted chest's option for estrus is greyed out so its not detecting the mod.

Had you been infected? ie been successfully attacked and as a consequence been impregnated?

 

If you have, the MCM shows

the time, in hours, at which they will deliver

 

On 'delivery' the player/npc lies down and pops out a series of eggs, the physics for which is wonderful eg, if you lie down on a slope, the eggs will run down the hill.  Do that beside a river, and they will drop into the water and disappear downhill

 

The MCM also gives a time at which the eggs laid will hatch, and if you have enabled the 'infestation' option. there will be lots of little offspring scurrying about

 

As I said, not sure exactly what your issue is, but I hope that's of some help

Everything works perfectly, my character is properly fertilized, I lay the eggs correctly. It's the birth animation that doesn't work; she lies down as if she's going to sleep.

Good to know that the rest is OK, but I'd go with the epidural dose having been too strong

Did u solve this, I've got the same problem, I recalled the right anim is playing before i updated some mod, maybe it's the mod conflict, plz share me solution if u find why, thanks.🙂

I set the wig already in sexlab strip settings. It works for other animations but not this mods. I even tried using the estrus shout mod and the wig doesnt get strip.

Hmm, that should work.  I just tried the double tentacles animation with a wig equipped and set to Never Strip in SexLab.  It stayed on, though the wigs that I have are also tagged with the SexLabNoStrip keyword.  So, I tried it again with a helmet set to not strip in SexLab and that worked too.  I should mention that for my tests, I just used the Animation Editor page in SexLab to start the animation rather having it trigger from an attack.  Perhaps that makes a difference.

 

You might post which specific animation(s) you had trouble with, as well as checking your wig for unusual keywords or slot assignment (my wig uses slot 31 - Hair).  I don't know what else to suggest.  Perhaps someone else will understand what might be happening.
