Hmm.... It seems to be working now all of a sudden. Summoned a hentai chaurus again and the first attack ended up being a spit attack which immediately started the animations. Don't know what the problem was before. I didn't see any breast/belly scaling over the incubation period though, even though the follower was registered and showed up in the list of infected or whatever npcs. I did try this on a standalone 7B follower so maybe the body doesn't have a belly node or whatever is needed.

 

Anyway, I'm happy as it is and I'll just keep the mod active for now and see how it behaves over my current playthrough.

For some reason I can't get the MCM menu to show up at all.  I have Estrus, that shows up fine (however minimal it is) however the MCM just doesn't appear.  Any recommendations?  Or any compatibility issues with other Sexlab items?  I don't really have much that could interfere otherwise as most others are just technical stuff like increased carry weight and environment.  I tried uninstalling both mods and just enabling Estrus, and then saving, closing, and enabling Estrus Chaurus but still no go.  Even redownloaded both.  Anything common that's been known to trigger its arrival?  I assumed I didn't need to download the original since it uses a different system, so I assumed this was self-contained from the old version, am I correct?

Hi ya Bane sir!  Much thanks to you for keeping up this wonderful mod. However I had a certain request or even technical problem with the newest version you made.

 

 

Sexlab scenes involving a Chaurus triggered by another mod (e.g. Defeat, Submit & many others)

 

I've spent a good number of hours looking for a way to make JUST the Chaurus event happen. To breed with my follower. Could you enlighten me on how I can really trigger it JUST for my followers and JUST with the Chaurus? (hentai summoned chaurus does NOT trigger the breeding buff)

 

I keep looking up stuff for Defeat and Submit but I swear. I honestly don't have a clue what I should be downloading to trigger the Chaurus only event. =(

 

Help a friend out here sir? : )

I found this old thread back from Nov of last year. I didn't know if you felt like having a challenge of adding something new to this mod. Or were in a circle of modders that would like to have a go at it.

The menu will only appear once you save your game after install and reload - the original author put this in as a safety measure to try and prevent papyrus from choking on install...

It should work as long as the chaurus is member of the chaurus faction and uses the standard chaurus poison spit attack, talk with the hentai mod designer to check that this is the case

 

 If you don't fancy defeat or submit why not try sexlab aroused creatures to get some scenes going..

I did some more tinkering around and more reading of posts. I got it to finally work. Thanks for hearing me out sir. ^_^

Hello everyone!

 

   Firstly, let me say that this mod is quite well done. I've been thoroughly impressed with it thus far, however I recently came across a problem that I'm stumped on how to fix.

 

I see that a few other users reported that RND seems to stop functioning after an EC+ tentacle attack, and I've encountered the same issue recently. This attack was triggered by a bite from a chaurus in the Mzulft Dwemer Ruin. I should note that my PC was already infected by an earlier chaurus in that same dungeon. I've gone back to a save shortly before this happens and tried it several times to narrow down what event is causing RND to stop responding and it always happens after an EC+ tentacle event. Essentially, while my PC's needs continue to deteriorate, consuming any food or water does not improve them. It almost seems as though the scripts that RND attaches to the food/drink items stop working (purely a guess on my part... but sleeping still works, food and water do not). Also, the check needs hotkey no longer reports my PC's needs when pressed. Private Needs' status check and hotkeys also stop functioning as well (I ssume they are using a similar method as RND, since the two are made to work in tandem).

I've had my PC involved in EC+ events before while already infected and it hasn't caused any issue, so I don't beleive that would be a contributing factor.

Hello everyone!

 

   Firstly, let me say that this mod is quite well done. I've been thoroughly impressed with it thus far, however I recently came across a problem that I'm stumped on how to fix.

 

I see that a few other users reported that RND seems to stop functioning after an EC+ tentacle attack, and I've encountered the same issue recently. This attack was triggered by a bite from a chaurus in the Mzulft Dwemer Ruin. I should note that my PC was already infected by an earlier chaurus in that same dungeon. I've gone back to a save shortly before this happens and tried it several times to narrow down what event is causing RND to stop responding and it always happens after an EC+ tentacle event. Essentially, while my PC's needs continue to deteriorate, consuming any food or water does not improve them. It almost seems as though the scripts that RND attaches to the food/drink items stop working (purely a guess on my part... but sleeping still works, food and water do not). Also, the check needs hotkey no longer reports my PC's needs when pressed. Private Needs' status check and hotkeys also stop functioning as well (I ssume they are using a similar method as RND, since the two are made to work in tandem).

 

 

Are you using an old version of Deviously Cursed Loot as Kimy fixed this problem a few versions back. At the time when I tested by spawning a chaurus RND seemed to run okay it was only when EC+ was triggered by DCL that RND broke, so you may have a different issue

I'm actually using DCL 4.2, since I also use Bodyslide. As far as I'm aware, none of the Bodyslide conversions for Devious Assets have been updated for version 2.9. I'm sorta waiting on one of them to be updated to reflect all the new items and slot changes that happened in this update.

 

I didn't think that DCL would be a cause for this since the EC events are coming from actual chauruses (charusi? what is the plural of that?). But hey, this is Skyrim! For every dragon you kill a rabbit suddenly goes on a murderous rampage on the other side of the map for all we know.

Does EC+ include animations for other Estrus resources?

 

I know about the dwemer machine but I thought Estrus included other organic stuff next to the tentacles.

 

Hmm, in the original Estrus For Skyrim, afaik, each word of the shout can result in two varaints of its stage.

- So "Es" has either the tentacles or a big lump of slime (though maybe in EC+ you could think about implementing this tentacle pot of ZAP that you can see in its test world?)

- "T" has also two, afaik, though I only can remember the horse

- "Rus" has either the machine with many arms to fix you, or the one with this "countertop"(?) where you get fixed in at the hip.

 

I don't know if EC+ also uses all six anmation sets.

No doesn't sound like DCL then, it was fine in 4.2. Not sure what to suggest as I've never had the RND problem with a Chaurus but it's a real pain when it happens. As an aside, I suspect (and I'm probably totally wrong) the the plural for chaurus is chaurii

A clean save is recommended if you want to use this version.

 

If attempting to upgrade you will need to reset your animations in sexlab and then install the animations via the EC+ menu

 

- I have noticed that if upgrading the "Machine 2" animation may not show up in the EC MCM but you can confirm it is installed by checking Sexlab's amimation list. (Fixed in 3.93a)

Dammit I always forget to fix that before release!  :blush:
