What is the best configuration to make approach easier? I'm playing with female character, the Attraction scale is 70 that says "you're very pretty!!", but 95% of NPC when I press N says that they treating me normal or worse. Just one until now says that is interested.

The same occurs with my character. Everyone says average look or worse and ALWAYS says "you don't feel any desires about him."

 

So, the consequence is the approach never happens.

What is the best configuration to make the approach and attraction happens easier? I'm playing with a Imperial Female.

You need an old version of Attraction for it to work. Try this:

Well I hope this information is useful to other, I was using this mod since some time ago, and it was working fine, then I didn't even noticed that with the time it actually stoped working, I did some test and I found the way I will work again so I hope this will work for people that can get this to work and the mod author if it useful in some way....

 

1.- Use Atrraction Version 12-9-14, for me Version 20-10-14(latest) make approach to stop working....

 

2.- I also doungraded Sex lab Aroused Redux to V16 , The latest one is V16b....

 

3.- Settings to get aproached at least frecuently, Character attractiveness =100, Approach rate= 10, Time= 10 secs....

 

I think the most important is Attraction version, I dont't know If Aroused Redux version needs to be downgraded but since the real thing that made it work for me was downgrading Attraction, I hope this is useful for people not getting the mod to work...

I will just say, Aroused Redux worked fine for me, I didn't need to downgrade it.

is there any chance this mod can get the npcs approaching each other not just the player? thats all thats missing right now from my game. if the mod author can find time to add it into this mod as planned i would be happy to never change any more of my mods again.

I did that. The problem now is when i press N, shows that message that my char like the NPC, but the opposite doesn't happen yet. I have Attractiveness 100 and most of NPC says that "fairly likes" and in the final says "you don't feel any desires toward him".

 

Another question is that the Racial Preferences in this version (12-09) doesn't show any option in MCM, is that right? And in the PC Preferences Option only shows PC Attractiveness to change. Is this right or is a bug when i change the version?

In Attraction General change the PC Can Like option to "PC Has Preferences".

Then your stats will show for the player in Stats tab.

 

The default "PC only looks at NPC Attractiveness" is  the quicker (and less script work) option to process as it does a short calculation just based on attractiveness without calculating all the other stats.

 

Also a note on Aroused Redux any version, Attraction is not getting any value return from Aroused at all (more then likely just errors).

Redux moves the native Aroused function that Attraction calls to get a value.

So when attraction is calculating lust it doing so basing that aroused returned 0.

In reality Aroused means nothing to Attraction the way it is atm.

 

I think the author of Aroused Redux offers a workaround download for just the occasion.

But I never tried it myself, I edited Attraction and changed the property so it can access the aroused function once again..lol

 

Note: When reading Aroused Redux description it mentions about mods that use the method of calling GetActorArousal() instead of calling Aroused faction to get a value.

But reality is querying Aroused Faction is worthless to how attraction works.

For Attraction to work correctly it need to use the GetActorArousal() method.

At this point no sorry, as I'm actually in the process of updating attraction.

Lessening it's code length, adding Beard and Eye Color preferences, Adding MCM descriptions when pointing at the controls in MCM, so the user can get a better idea of what some of the settings affect.

 

eg: the mystery Wrong Sexuality Divisor and Modifier, that really offers no explanation as to how it affects as to greater or lesser values.

 

Off topic Tip: If you want a chance of lesser approaches from the wrong sex to your preference, then Up the Divisor and Modifier as high as they can go

Doesn't stop wrong sex approaches but reduces the chance more.

actually I use Version 20-10-14(latest) and it works for me without any problem ?

how ever I upgraded from 29-8-2014 then to 12-9-14 and finally to Version 20-10-14

 

Never have I had any problem with it. I do use Arousal Redux if that may be a reason for it to work for me.

I use something called slamainattractionscript perhaps that is the workaround you talked about ?

I'm very sorry, I accidentally referenced the wrong version numbers. I had this issue a while back but recently nuked my setup so I lost the version numbers that worked for me. I found it on page 10 of the Attraction thread. Use Approach 27-8-14 and Attraction 20-10-2014, those worked for me.

It says in the mod description that "

• If you accept, the sex proposal there is a chance of improving you relationship with NPC. The opposite is also true."

 

Does the mod allow me to disable the feature that changes the NPC's relationship with me?

 

Also, if I were to keep turning down someone's sex proposal, would the relationship worsen to the state where they become hostile to me?

Well I think it is in the attaction where you can config relationship impact. As to if it worsen relationships I am not sure as other then I have ben raped a couple of times when I have turn a person down (primary Ysloda for some reason    ).

For some reason I'm not able to turn off whistle in MCM.

Same for me, can't untick it with neither the mouse nor the keyboard. Did anyone find a solution?

So this is probably a silly question but i have to ask this anyway. To install the mod do you need only 8/27 or do you need to install one of the other ones before and treat the 8/27 as a patch?  I ask because of the  size discrepency ( 18 vs. 161 kb)

what I do is to still them all from the oldest first and to the newest. I use NMM and when it has intalled the first one instead of having it opgrading I chose "No" to manuel install the other two and then select to override all when promted to avoid problems.

 

Also I think that in this topic or Attraction there is a fix to get the correct some problems inbetween them. it is called "slamainattractionscript"

 

As to why some of you can not turn off the Wishling I in the NMC I do not know never had any problem uncheck the boks.

I just tried this mod out. I have SL Attraction AND SL Arousal installed(by reading the posts I don't think it links any relations with SL Arousal). First off, I played with the settings boosted all the way up, and nothing happened. I reloaded the game. Forgot about to test the mod out, and continued on my Skyrim journey. I was approached by a Whiterun guard, he "whistled" at me, he came up to me, he frantically ran away from me, he initiated sex with another Whiterun guard. Wtf? Was this supposed to happen? Does this mod initiate sexual acts before any dialogs?

Good mod. Working fine... for me. I want ask one thing from developer: Can you add selection option for choosing NPC gender who can approach to PC (males/females/both)?

I have been unable to get this mod to work for me sexlab framworks 1.62 aroused 27, attraction 29 and approach 28. this is the load order. can anyone help? Next is there any updates coming for this mod?

is this mod ok for a male PC? or this is just a female PC thing?

okay well it seems everyhitng work corectly (i mean aproach is visible on MCM )
however even when i did everything i can (atractiveness to 100 mostly) but still nothing happens i just spend 20 mins runnign around and no one aproached me (note some found my char godess on earth with a chech frenquency of  1 sec)
did i do something wrong or i am mising files (SL 1.59, SL aroused, SL atraction are in my mod list)

Might be interesting if say you added romantic encounters like wanna go for a walk? wanna check out that nerby cave? perhaps an event in said cave of a bandit or spider attack where if you help defend yourself or let him or her do it influences relationships with that npc?
