I think i drop support for arousal for now the mod is now what i expected it to be. The biggest problem is its to slow. But i get it working sooner or later.

So i think every thing should be in place by now. I only need to fix some small things like.

Custom log location support.

Check if mcm is updatable when i release new updates

Debug debug debug..

So i be back on fryday and i update this week

I don't know why, but when I try running the new v3.0 I just get this message "Program already running". And the actual application doesn't open. I double checked and tried with the old 2.4 version and it opens just fine, it's only with the new version that I can't get running. I don't know if it's a java issue or a windows 10 issue, or user error (but all I did was unizipped it, then enabled the game part within skyrim, then attempted to run the program AFTER skyrim is already open with the .esp anabled just like it says on the front page instructions.

Under the Debug "start" it states: "Unable to create/ and or lock file"

No matter what I seem to do I simply can't get it running.

I think i packed to program while it was running. There should me a file called lock.something but this file is hidden. To see the file you need to enable hidden files and delete it. I am going to upload a new version bit this wont be till i get back on friday.

I found a temporary fix online, that was derived from other .jar files refusing to open. It forces a new instance to run dropping the lock file that prevents it from running otherwise. I'm posting this because the lock file that was generated on mr.private's computer did not transfer in the .rar that this mod is included in, so showing "hidden files" will not show it. At least.... I found no such hidden file. (yes I have hidden files and folders set to show)

1.Create a shortcut of the start.jar

2. RIght click the Shortcut and open properties

3. Under the shortcut tab set the "start in" to: "C:\Program Files (x86)Javajre1.8.0_65bin\javaw.exe" -jar "%1" %"  exactly as typed, only changing the file path to match where you have "your" javaw.exe file on your computer.

4. Save settings and close

5. ???

6. Proffit

Though I did notice that the log reader that pops up after clicking "start reading logs" shows " Controller Rumble For Skyrim mods v2.0"

You might want to change that to "3.0"

Yes it was a quick release because i promist to upload something new. Keep sendimg bugs and i try to fix them end of the week.

I cannot get the "controller is connected" box to be checked. Even though the manual testing of my controller works just fine, no dice. I believe it's because I have a Razer controller instead of a Microsoft controller.

I can't help too much, as I'm still on the 2.6 version. However, I might be able to help you find some tips and/or places to start looking. First, the controller needs to be seen as an Xbox 360 controller by the software. There's a few different programs i've used at various times. x360ce works well for actual gaming, but has trouble when it comes to *certain* programs/games. Therefore, I have drifted away from it. MotionInJoy and BetterDS360tool work decently, but again, they don't work well in all circumstances. The only program I have had near 100% success with is SCPdriver.

I can't say that you won't have problems, but it does quite well at getting 3rd party devices to show up as xb360 controllers. Can't say it will always work, but it suits me well.

For some reason it isn't making the Controller Rumble.0.log even though papyrus is set to display in the ini. I tried making one for it but it just stayed empty. Not sure what to do. :/ I am on windows 10 and I was able to get controller to check and mod to show in mcm menu if that helps. It just didn't make a log or update it.

this is what you need to have in skyrim.ini

[Papyrus]
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1

did "SexLabDebug.0" show up in "Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script\User"?

Yah, debug showed up when I toggled it on but the controller log dealie didn't show up and I guess it was supposed to be in same folder?

i installed the latest version and it works for me. Try loading a new game and look if it shows up.

So I finally got around to trying version 3.0 (stable) and I noticed a few things.

First: The new addition that it doesn't have it "fire off" while in menus, also keeps it from doing such while in conversations. So for example if one of the DD items activates during a conversation (which I know it loves to do, as it happens more often than not) with the game time still running it does not activate, breaking the 'immersion'. Maybe find a way to only stop the activation if the game is paused instead?

Second: After running the game for long spans it seems to stop working for most 'sex acts' except the ending climax.

Still enjoying the mod though even with it's quirks.

I cant for the life of me seem to figure this out.

So, I have my skyrim installed, smack full of mods. Lots of Sexlab mods etc, all working perfectly. Devious devices etc.

I usually play with an Xbox360 controller. so that works too.

I have installed this mod. v3 (stable)

I unchecked the "use controller" so that i now play with my keyboard in the Skyrim option menu.

But I dont see a single entry in the MCM menu for this mod.

Also, when I try to start the Start.jar file in my ( D:\Games\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim - Legendary Edition\Data\Program ) folder. It always just says.   "Program is already running"

Even after a fresh reboot.

No menu pops up or anything.

Also it does not to anything when playing the example video.  Im at a loss.

Java should be working on my system, as Unity uses it to make/emulate Android games.

Using windows 10, if that makes any difference?

Saw this page when I googled around for others who have modified controllers. Thought it might be helpful.

few things to mention:

1. xbox motors don't get a whole lot of juice, so replacing those motors with something else... you'd probably be better off with using batteries still.

2. as they say, if you ARE going to use batteries as spacers to make sure the wires going to the vibe touch the springs and complete the circuit, make DAMN sure those batteries aren't exposed or else you'll fry something

Can someone help me. I've done everything i've been told to do. Just installed this mod for the first time. Loaded a save where it didn't exist. And it loads in to the game properly, however it isn't creating a log file. Papyrus is creating logs, but the mod itself isn't creating the log required to make this mod usable.

The demo video works fine. everything seems to be running, the mod is simply not creating the log file required for the Program.

EDIT: Woot! I got it to work.

The Fix, was a little pathetic on my part. So I Use NMM and LOOT to help with all my modding needs. After a fair amount of messing around with possible mods that could be causing the issue, and reading through all my logs to see wtf cud be causing the issue, it ended up only being the placement of .esp file in the list. I moved up near the top, and it immediately started to write the log file. I have like 160 mods, so I assume it was just getting lost in-translation or something.

Hope this helps anyone else having this issue. Now its time to have an "immersive" experience. lol

To be honest, I've been looking for somebody to consider such functionality, not the suggested usage (personal stimulation), but rather the incorporation of controller force feedback or rumble on certain events to bring the events to the players attention, or hint to what is happening to their character. I think many mod-makers overlook the vibe/rumble feature simply because most PC gamers simply use their keyboard, instead of a feedback enabled controler... "Out of sight out of mind".  I use a PS3 controller myself.

However, I know nothing about actually writing mods, so I couldn't do so myself, but logically speaking, I think you are probably going about it the wrong way. I could be entirely wrong, since, after all, I know nothing about writing mods myself. Instead of making scripts or issuing a command to try to start and stop the controller based on looking for certain events, would it not be much easier to find where the game already uses the feature, such as stepping on littered bones, and copy those lines of script used to trigger vibe/rumble to paste into various Sexlab and Devious Device events (plugs vibrating, rhythmic pulses during sex scenes, and long vibrations to indicate orgasm, and so forth), and then offer the result as simply a patch or bridge providing the vibe/rumble function?

And for anybody into the more kinky implications, a female gamer friend named Valerie used to tell me about a device that she was experimenting with and wished more programmers and game scriptors would incorporate into those sort of themes. If I recall, I think she said it was called "Dreaming Trance" or something similar. It's just a small USB plug that can control small electric motors using the rumble or force feedback output of games.

This mod started as a test to make the controller and keyboard work together. But after some testing i found out this was not possible with my current knowledge. The biggest problem is we dont have access to most scripts. We only have limited script to interact with the game. The problem is that you only have vibrations when the controller mode is turned on but this also means the keyboard and mouse are disabled. I added Damage and interaction to my mods vibrations but i never got around to it to actually adding them as events in game.

I now know how to use cheat engine to find data(read memory) which you cant find with normal scripts. I already made sexvilla 2 work with this and it works really well. The problem with skyrim is there is no real interaction between characters other then visual(animations). well maybe there are but i didnt have time to find them yet, maybe i can find the animation timer so can create vibrations based on this.

I think the device you describing is trance vibrator which is already integrated in my program.

Disregard my previous comment. This mod does very well as it is, by whichever methods were used. Very well done. Thank you.

This mod really spoiled me.  Last time I used it was about a year ago before I lost my PC due to unfortunate circumstances during a move.  When I recently got my new one, I made sure to install this again but given what the original post stated and that I use a xbox controller to play, I didn't think it would work.  Still, I prayed to RNGesus that maybe something special about my setup would allow it to work and installed anyway, and it worked a lot better than I thought it would only causing ctd's when sleeping or waiting. Sadly, I play with RND that makes sleeping essential so I had to uninstall.  I tried rolling back to 2.6 but that caused a CTD whenever loading, even on a new game.  Now, without your mod, whenever I play I can't help but feel like something important is missing in my game.  I hope you can update this mod again soon, you really made something special.
