When I click find devices it only finds my xbox controler.   Are you using the official Lovense Dongle or just a regular blutooth dongle? If you have newer toys, you will have to jump through some hoops as well. It was very difficult at times for connections in Butthesda to work reliably, as it has a mind of its own and isn't updated properly to recognize newer toys - it's implementation of buttplug.io isn't the best anymore. I have since switched to Telekenisis - which is MUCH more reliable than GIFT or Butthesda and has an MCM with many options, and rivals the options of Butthesda in many ways: . That will solve the majority of your issues and it doesn't require any weird Python programs or limit you to setting the toys up to a single save before you start the game. It supposedly works with GIFT, so it makes a great replacement for Butthesda, but I don't use GIFT.  If you're still insistent on using Butthesda, I found that using the built-in bluetooth on my pc was always more reliable than going through what I assume is the official blutooth dongle. You'll have to forgive me - it's been a while since I've used Butthesda. so I'm having trouble remembering the exact hoops I had to jump through. I think it works best if you connect your toys FIRST before opening Butthesda - whether directly to pc or by opening your Lovense Connect program first. If it's still not picking them up, try disabling them in the Connect app and seeing if they have a steady light indicating a pc connection, then, opening Butthesda. I will admit that I had many issues with toys in Butthesda using the Lovense program and dongle. Are you using the Buttplug.io Intiface Central program? Try discovering your toys in there, and then opening Butthesda - it may conflict however. I just can't remember! I think Butthesda uses its own "Intiface" - it's just old and not updated enough.  I really think you should try Telekenisis, as it will solve the majority of the issues. It doesn't require Intiface Central, and as long as your toys connect to your pc somehow (though I haven't tested the Lovense dongle). and you enable them in the MCM and specify what body parts are affected, it just works. It even lets you assign different motors on the same toy to different body parts! If using the Lovense dongle, I assume that you would need to open the Lovense Connect program first before starting Skyrim. I find it easier to just use any other form of bluetooth - less steps inbetween. Edited June 14, 2024 by Amatum 1

I use the lovesense bluetooth dongel (couldn't connect otherwise) with the lush 3 Could It be that I need to install the lush with xbox360 drivers? Just an idea and I don't think it would work. I got GIFT to work without any problems whatsoever I just vastly prefer the butthesda scripts  Unfortunately I can't use Telekinesis because I don't use special edition and there is no LE version. I also tried the Buttplug.io. but I never got it to connect to my toy.

I also tried the Buttplug.io. but I never got it to connect to my toy.  Ah that is unfortunate! I'm not sure if Telekinesis is LE compatible.  I just now reproduced what I used to do with "problem toys" (like my Dolce) - though it's annoying. First: I assume your toy is already added to Lovense Connect using your dongle at some point. 1- Open Butthesda from the Setup shortcut and leave open. It will now steal blutooth connections. 2- Turn on Lovense dongle and open Lovense Connect app. 3- Turn on your toy and try to connect in the Lovense App. The toy should go from a blinking light indicator to a solid light, meaning that Butthesda will have stolen your toy's connection, and the Lovense Connect app will attempt in vain to connect to your toy but will eventually give up connecting the toy to the Lovense App. 4- See if Butthesda will list your toy now under Find Devices. It probably will not, even though the power indicator on toy will glow steadily - indicating a connection has been made. If it does - great! If it doesn't, keep reading ha ha. 5 - Close Butthesda and Lovense Connect - keep toy powered on. 8 - Open Butthesda again and use Find Devices. The toy should show up as either Lush3 (I don't have one to test at the moment) or as "Lovense Device". Congratulations - it worked!  Now how reliable that connection will be is an entirely different matter. But at least it is connected. Now choose your options (LE), etc. and choose Start from the Butthesda app. Important note! Keep an eye on the new window that pops up afterwards - if it pops up and then dissapears quickly, choose Start again from Butthesda as fast as your fingers can fly, before Skyrim starts. The window must still be active when the game starts or it will not work. Not sure if that's just a bug that I've always had, or if others have it as well.  If the above does not work, try different approaches. The important thing is that Butthesda will grab the toy connection, but will not know what your newer toy is - and I think it then doesn't bother to list it as an option at all. You have to trick it into accepting the connection as a non-specified "Lovense Device".  Goodness gracious, the things a girl does to have some naughty handsfree fun in Skyrim! This is why I love Telekinisis! 🎶 Â

Just really attached to my mods and having a working/non crashing experience.  I can only find the lovense connect for phone. when it is connected to the phone it won't connect to the pc at all. Butthesda couldn't detect the lush. doesn't find it when I follow your steps. I also tried connecting with pc bluetooth instead of the dongel, didn't work. or did you mean levense remote? also tried that, same results. Could it be that the lush 3 is to new?Â

Could it be that the lush 3 is to new?  Telekinisis is a vast improvement. I understand not wanting to upset the mod balance!  "Lovense Connect" is the name of the official Lovense software for PC and is the one I tested with. Here is the download link from Lovense's website: Lovense Connect. You can try installing the software and then following my steps - I have no idea if it works with the phone app. One less link in the troubleshooting chain, though.  If you have built-in pc blutooth, you MAY have an easier time, - depends on your toy. The difficult part may be getting your pc to recognize your toy - it is very hit-or-miss whether my pc recognizes my toy and installs the correct drivers and recognizes it as a Lovense toy. Does your toy show up in your blutooth devices with its name after you scan and add? Usually it will be something like "LVS-EDGExxx" and some numbers where the "x"s are, but normally it is "LVS-" and some letters and numbers that do not tell you what the toy is. If you can get your Lush to be recognized by your pc and added to your devices as "LVS"-something, then you can try to see if Butthesda recognizes it. Again, however, it may be too new to be recognized properly in Butthesda without using an intermediary such as Lovense Connect and the official dongle.  P.S. If Butthesda does not recognize a toy at first, it sometimes helps to completely restart Butthesda. Don't just back out of the menu and try again.

My pc bluetooth detects it as lvs-lush. loveense connect refuses to do anything while the lovense dongel isn't plugged in. When plugged in it connects to the lush 3 without problems. Butthesda still doesn't detect anything tho. I followed your steps exactly. I closed and restarted bethesda around 10 times. I guess I have to figure out if there are still toys for sale that are compatible?  I figured it would work since the list says "Lovense (All products)" Edited June 26, 2024 by deviant51

Theoretically, Butthesda should see it without using the dongle. Theoretically, it should show up as "Lush" or "Lovense Device". But it most likely will not. It doesn't find my Dolce this way.  2 - Lovense Connect does not work without the dongle being powered on, that is correct. Toggling off the toy in the software (after first connecting), making sure that the led light is solid, then opening Butthesda again is how I manage to get this to work.  It's an old program, not really updated regularly. There is a discord server called "Butthesda" that may have some more information for you, but I think most have moved on to other projects. Out of curiosity, what version # of Butthesda are you using? I think I'm using 2.17 or 2.19. Edited June 26, 2024 by Amatum

When I untoggle the lush in lovesense connect the light instantly changes from solid to blinking.  I have got V17 I belive. Do you have V2.19 for me? allthough I don't think it wil work since the light starts blinking instantly. Â

It may be ok if it's still blinking, as long as it turns solid when you open Butthesda. I will have to double-check in case I misspoke.
deviant51 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 so... this is how it works. apparently intel integrated bluetooth is shit, so that doesn't help. Â I got a hush 2 and connected this using the lush 3 driver. now butthesda recognizes the hush 2.... yes really. the hush 2 driver doesn't work.
Melissa_69 Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 This mod needs to be banned and the reason why I said that is after installing this all my USB ports on my HP Pavilion gaming Desktop failed. It literally wipe out all my USB ports. I tried different mouse and keyboards and controllers too nothing seems to work anymore. I'm on Android writing this post cause my HP is in service. This mod needs to be removed.

Telekinesis has been a much more reliable replacement - but I understand that not everyone has the SE version of the game.Â

I don't remember exact details (it is almost ten years), just in case of HP Pavilion gradually losing USB ports - once I have similar problems, resulting in reinstalling Windows (remove & add drivers did not help). Coincidence with the use of the mod will almost certainly be random (you at last somehow manipulated with USB devices, did you?)

The next day I had trouble logging in on my desktop and couldn't even use the Accessibility options for a onscreen keyboard.
