I have Encountered and Issue. The Mark of Love quest is stuck in my journal. I did the End Quest Immediately dialogue now its stuck in my journal. I was wondering if there was a way to redo the quest with console commands without starting a new game. If not then that is ok.

Sylgja's quest entry does not disappear regardless of how you start it. I tried triggering Anekke first and ending the quest, but that simply creates a new entry for Mark of Love and shows it as completed. Console commands do not remove the entry. all other quests clear fine except this one, your only two choices are to never trigger the quest (don't use that dialog option) or start and play through it.

Hi Fox,

Welcome back.  A quick question...I noticed that once I cleared Serana quests the "blood sucking" timer stopped.  Just want to know if it is a feature (i.e. Luv stopped dragon blood addiction).

Appreciated your work.

She no longer asks after completing "Burning From The Inside" quest.

She just has the normal lovers options afterwards.  I didn't want to deal with whether she got cured or not and also many found it annoying.  Go figure!

If you want to re-start it, you can at the console.

SetStage SexLabAmorousAdventuresDLC1_Hunger 10

Then she'll get hungry and want to talk to you about it every day and a half or so.  She'll be your personal Digimon waifu vampire baby for as long as you want to keep feeding her blood.

If you like that for immersion and / or the continued romantic angle.

To shut it off:

SetStage SexLabAmorousAdventuresDLC1_Hunger 200

Thanks!

Maybe a bug.  It should just be a completed quest in the journal.  Are you saying it still shows as an active quest?  I'm guessing so.

I seem to be running into some problems with the Aela quest.

According to the quest stage file I had to talk to her after you find Skjor's body in Gallows Rock, and so i did. According to the quest stages file I should now talk to her when she's back at Jorvask but BEFORE she sends me out to fight the Silver Hand. However no dialogue options related to AmorousAdventures are available when I try to talk to Aela.

A few more details:

the Quest stage is currently at 30

I talked to Aela both after becoming a werewolf and and when we found Skjor

I talked to Aela after finding Skjor while I was a Werewolf

It's still the same day as when I attacked Gallows Rock.

I am using Immersive Citizens (I'm reporting that  because it's the only mod that affects Aela in any meaningful way)

Can some one help please? I'd Appreciate it!

EDIT: So I figured it out: In order for the dialogue options to appear Aela MUST be in Jorrvaskr main hall; not the backyard, not even the basement. No the mead hall!

Yeah, that's interesting because in Vanilla I'm pretty sure she just sits by the door pretty much forever waiting for you to report back.  Hence... it's coded for Mead Hall location!

I guess I should re-evaluate that.

Willing to bet an AI overhaul was involved as I know Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul specifically makes sure quest giver NPCs keep a regular schedule where normally they would never leave their posts.

Per that mod's webpage:

When an NPC gives the PC a quest, he'll continue to lead a normal life. For now, this applies only to the following quests:

...

  • Trouble in Skyrim, Stealing Plans, Striking the Heart, and all the radiant quests given by the Companions

Yup, it's a bug all right. It stays in the list of active quests even though the quest indicator shows completed (solid instead of hollow) and the description is that of a completed quest ("I have chosen not to pursue..."). I 'setstage' it after looking at the esp file in TESEdit, and no change is observed. This happens whether you trigger Sylgja first or Anekke first and choose to end their quest in the first bit of dialog. If the quest is played through normally, the entry closes in the normal way (which is the most puzzling part of the issue, as since the quest stage is the same the result should also be the same) and moves to the inactive side of the journal.

welp, I guess I'll have to look into that.  Thanks!

I found a small typo. The note Andarys gives you about Jenassa says she is a sellsword "know" as Jenassa rather than "known."

I forgot to mention this in my outpouring of praise earlier. :D

Finally, I had the time to get my hands onto version 3.1 .. (Thank you for the additional hostings cool.gif !)

I did not try the new stories yet, but as far as I can tell 4 ITM's sneaked into version 3.1 ... TES5Edit could clean them automatically, but I feel better if you take a look at them yourself. I didn't notice them in the last version.

*rushes off, to play the new adventures*

My personal hope (other than Frea, which is only tangential given that I still haven't freaking been to Solstheim in 4239 hours of this game, so haven't even met the woman) is Uthgert the Unbroken, the proud warrior woman who was cast out of the Companions for killing a recruit accidentally during the proving, and who spends her days drowning her sorrows at the inn and challenging strangers to fistfights to get to know them. I mean seriously, doesn't that write itself?

seducing her would consist in a 10 stage quest:

1/brawl

2/brawl

3/brawl

4/Get drunk

5/brawl

6/brawl

7/brawl

8/brawl

9/brawl

10/seks

A Frea Amorous Adventure would be the only thing to get me to ever try that DLC quest. I have tried, but never got past wandering around the town.

well shoot, so now that I've gone from Gallows rock right to the next Silverhand quest... do I not end up getting the Ria dialog later?

That's fine, Ria's quest happens after. When you now get back to Jorvaskr talk to Aela in the main mead hall and talk about your relationship with her and agree to destroy the silver hand, then do the next quest for her, then finish up the questline. Once the questline is done and you're the Harbinger talk to Aela again and there will be a new dialogue line to go to Ria and show her the ropes, leading to Loaded for Bear.

While playing through the quests again for the nth time I came over a minor bug, really tiny; after you talked to Farkas about the Warriors in the Wild poem, the quest arrow next points to Aela instead of to Njada. This is only an issue in the very unlikely case that a Circle member (Vilkas almost certainly) is taking the newbloods out for a patrol, otherwise very minor annoyance.

an Astrid one with her husband would be interesting

you do know the last person who tried some unwanted advances on Astrid was killed, right?

Astrid is a bad choice due to unavoidable story reasons (hell there's even a custom race just for her alone from her actions, not even Miraak has that) and current seemingly happy marriage, but Gabriella on the other hand is an interesting woman fond of using her sexuality who doesn't play a very big part in the story at all. I see her as the best option in the Brotherhood, it would not in any way be lorebreaking if we could help her survive the storyline, and either have her join the others or leave the Dark Brotherhood entirely.

I've hoped there would be a way to have her exist and be available at the end of the DB quest chain but I think there's a script that disables her during that particular quest. Several of the others also seem to have the same thing happen.

Doesn't sound too bad considering what Fox was able to do with Mirabelle. I'm not 100 % certain but I don't think we ever see her get killed or find her in the Sanctuary, it's just assumed everyone but Nazir and the kid died. Festus I'm pretty certain we see get killed. Actually seeing her die or finding her dead would present a much bigger challenge to saving her.

Pretty sure the main reason we haven't seen anything with Karliah or Vex added is because Fox hasn't played those questlines though, which makes it extremely unlikely we'll see anything with the brotherhood anytime soon...

I think the only one we see die is the werewolf. I forget which bodies can be found, but it is hard with all of the fire and bad lighting to see so I might have missed one when I went looking ( I have tried to verify that they were all there once or twice).

I think Fox made a copy of Mirabelle and that can be done with anyone else, especially anyone "disabled" and not dead in game. Savos dies and you can get an inheiritance letter for him but not her.

We have had discussions about the silliness of the TG questline in the thread before, so I think you're right on the reasoning for Vex, Karliah and the DB potentials. Frea is also on that list, sadly for you, since Fox hasn't done any of that content. IIRC.

Frankly, I would just as soon not see the TG included in the mod, lest it tempt me to play a questline I absolutely hate and refuse to do. I have already "been made" to do quests I usually avoid such as Mind of Madness, and Lights Out in order to complete this quest. I know there can be alternatives to Lights Out but the stupid executioner sent me to Orphan's Tear instead and Gunmar, Sorine and Florentius would not send me there either.

You can just go there and kill them without the quest. Quest really just shows it on the map and adds maybe a 100 gold reward, the quest only requires the dungeon to reach "cleared" status, I barely ever bother to pick up a quest for that.
