Old Book Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 The 2.11 Storyboards Patch includes all the additional story elements for - Carlotta - a key to her heart - Brelyna - spellbound - serana - serana and the mark of dibella People seem to be generally in the Like or Dont-Like camp on them. I think in some instances, especially like Serana and the Mark of Dibella, they really help add more context to what's going on. Thanks! Personally, I like the story boards. The animations are fun, but they don't give you any idea of the personality of the characters, or of the themes of the story (at least, not unless the player carefully pics out the animations for every encounter). The storyboards, OTOH, give us a window into how characters feel about what's going on. That's a meaningful improvement. Also, right now I'm recording my current play through. I can show the story boards on YouTube. I can't show cartoon sex.
FoxFingers Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 Yeah I started it from a previous version. It says the current stage is 30 and there are 9 aliases. OK, but are any of the aliases marked "NONE"? This is the key piece of info. If not, you should be golden. Although I'm pretty confused how you could be on Stage 30....
Heyisforhorses Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Yeah a few pieces are marked "NONE" but must of them have ID's on them. I tried to "resetquest" but that didn't work. I'll keep trying console commands, but if you know anything I could do let me know. Thanks.

I can show the story boards on YouTube. I can't show cartoon sex. That does make perfect sense, yes. Post a link here if you upload one. The story boards do act like a "thought bubble" for the character's. They certainly add if you want a bit more story with the characters. Thanks!
FoxFingers Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 Yeah a few pieces are marked "NONE" but must of them have ID's on them. I tried to "resetquest" but that didn't work. I'll keep trying console commands, but if you know anything I could do let me know. Thanks. Amorous Adventure quests are not "re-settable". If any of the aliases are marked "NONE" then the quest is not going to work. Sorry that happened. You can try this: setstage SexLabAmorousAdventuresDLC1_Mark 11 That will set stage to 11, which runs the fix on the aliases. If the quest was started because of the opening dialogue being exposed in 2.09, then it should have stopped dead at stage 10. Being that, for whatever reason, it's at stage 30 in your game I don't see it as being recoverable.
Heyisforhorses Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Maybe I can try and setstage to a higher number and see if that forces the quest to start. If not then should I just setstage to complete the quest? (Since I am not able to do it) EDIT: I setstage to 40 and that seemed to have fixed it. I may have missed some stuff but I don't really care all to much about it.
FoxFingers Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 Maybe I can try and setstage to a higher number and see if that forces the quest to start. If not then should I just setstage to complete the quest? (Since I am not able to do it) Gee, are you saying the quest is not started already? Sorry, I'm just confused. You're saying the quest hasn't started? If you set stage to 200 it should complete the quest.
Heyisforhorses Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 The quest started but there wasn't a quest marker telling me where to go. So I set the stage to a higher number and now there is a quest marker for me to go to. So I may not have started from the beginning but it's a workaround if anyone is in the same boat as me.
FoxFingers Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 Yeah, I mean if you're just randomly setting stages hoping for something to happen, it ain't. If you used version 2.09, and if you started the quest then it would have been at stage 10. There was no further it could go because the dialogue with Serana at stage 10 was locked out because the conditions wouldn't allow it to run. If you have a save from before you started consoling stages, then maybe you can play with it. At Stage 10 a dialogue should now be available which will fill the Aliases. The fill aliases stage is stage 11. Once you start consoling stages forward you cannot go back. Hope this helps.
Gurofiend24 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Woo! thanks for another serana quest! I love her and it's awesome to interact with her more
Darkening Demise Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Can't wait to tryout the next quest. Ahlam! <3 So intrigued to see what's next.
KRSG Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Finished the College today. Once again, another character I never really gave much thought about, has emotionally affected me. I was actually quite saddened at Mirabelle's death and kind of cherish her summon. By the way, very well done on that aspect. I don't even want to know how much of pain that part was to you, especially getting it all to flow together. You would think, Brelyna would've learned from her first mishap about using spells she's not yet mastered, thankfully Faralda REALLY didn't mind.Next up the Companions. And just to make sure, the next update featuring Aela will be after the Companion's storyline right?

And just to make sure, the next update featuring Aela will be after the Companion's storyline right? Thanks for giving the College a try. Yeah, if you're talking about the Mirabelle Summon that took quite a bit or work. A summon Atronach - just as an example - summons a generic, disposable instance of an Atronach. Summon Mirabelle is a real NPC you can dress up nice and give equipment to has Lovers options. Well, you have to use something like Amazing Follower Tweaks to dress her up, but still, she will keep it all between summons. She actually lives in a special cell in the game just for her when she's not with you. Anyways, yes, The New companions stuff would pick up after completing the Companions quest line. Looking forward to working with Aela after she's free to roam Skyrim with the Dragonborn. During the Companions quests there's almost nothing that can be done with her since it's all so heavily scripted for the base game. To borrow a line from Jurassic World, she wants to be free to eat and hunt and fuck. But we're talking many weeks. I put out three new quests recently and that's a lot of output for me. Thanks!
MegaVillain Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Hey, man! Great mod. Been using it since v2.10 and already getting addicted to it. So yesterday I fired Dawnguard for the first time and I'm surprised at how well Serana's quest fits in with the original story. So far I've managed to bed Lydia, Carlotta, Jenassa and Aela but I think Serana's quest takes the cake. Seriously though, I feel like you've biased in scripting her story, perhaps because she's the heartbeat of all of TESV's gamer population? Or it may be because of technical reasons such as an abundance of Laura Bailey's voiceover lines in contrast to the other voicetypes, which in turn allowed you to splice together more of Serana's dialogues carefully from a plethora of files available? Either way, I'm proud of what you've remarkably achieved, Foxfingers. Is it just me or you've made her quest so that it feels like there's a thing going between her and the Dragonborn? Halfway through the quest I realized that she's started to fall for the Dragonborn. I could tell she was growing fond of him. What else could explain these dialogues (excuse my memory; the words might not be exact): - "I care about you deeply" - "Being out here with you means everything" - "You always say what you feel, don't you" - "Its not that I'm hungry... its something else." When asked if she'd like to feed off me, she becomes defensive and protests insisting that she cares about me. And not just because of my blood. - "Two adventurers seeing the world. Just me and you. No one else." - "Oh no, YOU WON'T TOUCH HIM!" - "He's mine" So, to summarize, she has been playing hard to get and never gives a straight answer when confronted about her feelings probably because of her innocent nature and her disturbing past with Molag Bal, but at the same time she doesn't hesitate to display her possessiveness towards the Dragonborn as apparently, she has started to care almost exclusively for him. I know from my playthrough experience I can tell that at least Lydia (of all the damsels I've bedded so far) displays this kind of affection for the Dragonborn, but quest and interaction-wise, I think Serana's feelings are the most boldly manifesting. But being a role-player, this is serious stuff for me. I thought that it was kind of a one-night stand, albeit unlimited access to the partner's-body-free-forever, mod and it was until I stumbled upon Serana. She seems to be genuinely interested in the Dragonborn, and ideally, at this point I would consider that the mod has fulfilled its purpose. That I would no longer seek out potential partners in my pursuit for amorous adventures because I've now found "the one" for me. Now, I can marry (or whatever) and settle down with her. Am I wrong in thinking that its kinda mod-breaking? Now, I don't know whether choices made during the quest affect this in anyway, but just so we're clear (SPOILERS AHEAD), I sided with the Dawnguard after escorting and honorably returning Serana to her rightful guardians and accepted the invitation to mate with her mother with her (Serana's) full consent just for the sake of liberating her (Valerica) from her conservative state of mind. Anyway, kudos to you for making such an epic mod and I hope to see more from you. I was thinking maybe you could do Maven, Ingun Blackbriar's mother, since if you side with the Imperials, she becomes the jarl of Riften, in addition to the Thieves' Guild mistress, and having her favor on your side would be a lore-friendly blessing. Or, you could do the girl I've had my eyes on since the day I installed Skyrim- Vex. Too bad there are no mods out there to romance, let alone marry this beautiful babe who is, by vanilla design, hard-to-get tough chick. Thank you for everything, man. Gonna install v2.11 and see what it has in store for me (and Serana)
wyvern33 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Just finished the new version with the conclusion for Serana, and I have to thank you again : it was flawless (0 bug), funny and well written. Serana is my favorite romance character, and this conclusion to their relationship is perfect, just like the rest of the quest in fact. It took elements of the story, and develop it without being forced. I wished I married her after doing this quest but well^^ In fact, with this mod, Marriable Serana and Serana Dialogue Edit, I more than satisfied with my playthrough about her. Edit (with a spoiler) : It was so hard to not kill Nazeem during the quest.

I'm glad you were entertained. And now that it is over... I invite you to plot Nazeem's death and role-play that. His head would make Serana a fine wedding gift. Thanks!

Gonna install v2.11 and see what it has in store for me (and Serana) Thanks for taking the time to write about what you thought about the Mod. I enjoyed reading all that and I love feedback for players. Besides having a great voice to work with (Laura Bailey's) the reason the Serana romance works so well is simply the sheer length of Dawnguard. It gives the story some time to breath. With other characters everything has to happen on a more compressed time-line. I understand people finding "The One" and foregoing more Adventures in this Mod. I don't condone it - but I understand it. Besides finding "The One" which is what the Mod is about (like a Skyrim E-Harmony) I also hope the romances add more fun to some otherwise dull vanilla content and shallow NPCs (Thanks Bethesda!). So, naturally, my opinion is to run with all of them quests out there. I hope you enjoy Serana's new quest and you'll let me know what you thought. Thanks!
pinky6225 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Thanks for the update, will have to give it a try
Old Book Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Episode Two of my modded Skyrim series is up. Near the end, after some business in Icicle Valley, is the beginning of the Amorous Adventures Riften questline. All in One HDT Animated Pussy is the body replacer I'm using, but as this is YouTube you won't see much of it. https://youtu.be/oHYY5xwyyJg
