Hey. Love this mod. Did the [wip] version of the new quest "mark of dibella" during version 2.10. I don't remember how it ended up, but now it says I have to go see Ahlam, but nothing happens there. I don't have the dialog to fix anything (like if upgrading from 2.09) When I run "sqv SexlabAmorousAdventuresDLC1_Mark" from the console, it says that i am in stage 30 and priority 70 whatever that means. Will the dialogs come up at some point? Do we need to go back to Marqarth? (I didn't get any dialog from senna there after the upgrade)

I don't want to do a "Setstage" unless I know for sure that it's needed, or if for sure something is wrong.

Can I just restart this quest? Is that safe?

The opening line of Quest was unintentionally left enabled in 2.09.

That's my bad. I try very hard to put out a bug free Mod, but occasionally something slips by me and that was a pretty big one.

If you started the Quest, you should be on Stage 10. That's as far as it should have been able to go. There should have been no further dialogue to progress the quest.

If you are on stage 30 somehow it's probably unrecoverable. The Aliases are not filled for the quest. It cannot be run correctly.

If you were are at stage 10, now, then it would be possible because Stage 11 fixes the quest. Once you've gone past Stage 10, you cannot go back.

Still, give this a try at the console and let me know what happens.

If all the Aliases are filled, you should be able to continue.

So... What happened when I did that is it wouldn't change from stage 30 no matter where I setstage to. Although, to me (not an expert at all) it looked like the aliases were populated. It would not move off of stage 30. So I tried resetting the quest. Now it says I'm on stage 0, but I won't let me set it to another stage.

Serana now has the dialog option "Lets talk about the Dibellan arts," but she'll just respond "OKAY." and the same option is present after that. So nothing happens. Her feeding timer is still on but even after A feeding session, etc., she doesn't have any additional options. Also the quest reports itself as "Stopped" in the console, so I guess that is why nothing appears in the quest log now.

Do you, or anyone else out there have some idea what I can do?

I suppose I could go back to a save from before I started the original [wip] quest. That would be okay, I guess. I'm sure I'd enjoy doing all that stuff over again. But.... I guess I'd rather not.

Someone somewhere mentioned a quest deleter that might help for restarting stuff like this.

What I wrote earlier is correct.

IF you started the quest in 2.09

IF for some reason you got to stage 30 somehow

Do This:

Verify Nazeem, Ahlam and Senna are all alive in your game. If you killed off Nazeem the Quest cannot start.

Run Console Commands:

SetStage SexLabAmorousAdventuresDLC1_Mark 11

SetStage SexLabAmorousAdventuresDLC1_Mark 35

Then take Serana with you to go talk to Ahlam. You will have missed the beginning of the quest but it should pick up from there. Well, it did for me testing it.

Why is it correct?

Because When you set to Stage 11 it fills all the aliases for the quest. Then it goes back to Stage 30.

That's totally fine! Now you have the aliases filled. The quest can work from that point.

Now you set to Stage 35 and pick up the quest where you and Serana go see Ahlam.

Why does reset quest fail?

You cannot reset quest on any quest flagged "Run Once" in the Creation Kit. All Amorous Adventures are flagged Run Once.

Why does it still say Stage 30 even though stage 11 filled my aliases?

Stage only go in one direction - UP. And quest Stage fragments only fire Once.

We are using that here. You've never fired Stage 11's fragment, so it fills the aliases. But then it has to go back to the last stage you are on - STAGE 30.

Now, Stage 30 is a stage that normally happens during a Scene between Serana and Ahlam where they discuss her problems. Set to Stage 35, take Serana to see Ahlam and Ahlam will pick up the quest for you. Talk to her.

There you go!

Thanks for the suggestion -- as you likely expected, moving AA to the bottom of the load order and the mod list in Mod Organizer fixed the issue and I was able to complete the quest.

Hey so I'm having an issue with Spellbound. I'm meeting all the prerequisites, Arch-Mage, Brelyna at the college did her practice, it's at the bottom of my load order, and so on and so forth. I'm getting the starting dialog from her but that's it. She's not going to the Arch-Mage quarters, no quest trigger or anything. Now I did use AFT to change her combat style and outfit. Could that be an issue?

Dude, you need to manually shift its load order then. Thats why LOOT is just a tool. It does what should be done, but if the author has suggested overriding LOOT's settings, you must manually do it yourself.

Anyways, I did the Mark Of Dibella quest for Serana today. Firstly, let me tell you that all of this was in continuation. I had played Dawnguard, and Serana's quest alongside it, both for the first time, so I felt really good about Serana's questline. It seems to integrate itself almost seamlessly with the Dawnguard storyline. But as soon as the Mark Of Dibella started, I started feeling something amiss. I was startled at Senna's suggestion of dragging my sweet across the countryside pushing her into prostitution just to earn Dibella's favor. And I was like, why you do this, FoxFingers? I had just started to genuinely fall for her. I can't just her turn into a whore, after everything she's been through all her life! I had no right to lure her into an amorous adventure with me, make her care for me and then force her to sleep with strangers across Tamriel!! So I made a backup save. And proceeded with caution.

We went and did what was asked of us. I was quite relieved when she boldly stood up to Nazeem and the Dragonborn respected her opinion. I can say I was getting increasingly uncomfortable with where all that was going when I first indulged in the conversation with Nazeem. I also quite liked how the author breathed new life into Serana's character by making her say that she'd have gone for Nazeem's blood for even proposing something like that. Made me feel her character is alive and sentient, and that she's still mine, despite pledging herself as Dibella's champion. I mean, this mod is about MY amorous adventures, right? Selfish, I know.

So, we were in Whiterun and when I got back to Breezehome with Serana, I guess Lydia got somewhat jealous and asked if she could come along (yes, she literally did; not sure which mod added that line, maybe Follower Commentary Overhaul, AA itself, or something else). I thought why not. She's the only one besides Serana I was ever serious with, so maybe these two can get to know each-other better as they're both going to be my... well, permanent lovers, if not spouses. Unfortunately, that never happened. Instead, the two started fighting each-other inside Ansilvund Excavation during our effort to prove Serana's worth as Dibella's champion. I believe the cause for it was a missed ice spike Serana fired at a necromancer which, instead, hit me. Of course Lydia, being possessive as she is, didn't like it and in turn attacked Serana. A fight broke out, and by the time I got rid of the draugr infestation, both had painted the cave with each-other's blood. Though, both are strong and were still pretty much in good shape to keep the fight going, had I not intervened. Had to break up the fight after which they followed me even deeper into the cave. A few steps in, and Lydia jokes, "So, wanna play daedra and battlemage with me? I can take it" or something like that. Again, yes, she did quite literally say it. I was astonished as I had never heard her say that before. I don't even know which mod added that, but it sure is making these quests much more fun than they were meant to be. Anyways, if I had voice, I'd have mildly rebuked her for saying that but before we knew it, we were fighting the final boss and a part of the quest concluded with me being rewarded the Ghostblade, and Serana's blessing of Dibella. At this point, I'd like to mention I really appreciate the gleaming effect the author added to Serana while having sex, to signify Dibella's presence in her body, as if its a threesome with the Goddess herself. I was happy that for once, Serana's life was part of something big (at least bigger than what Bethesda had in sack for her) and was contributing to a just cause immensely, with the assistance of an Aedra. I'm not sure if she retains the gleaming effect post-quest, but it was a great addition.

The biggest surprise for me was the epilogue, though. It put all of my anxiousness to rest. Serana almost openly admits the Dragonborn being her only love interest (at least thats how I perceived it) and as icing on top, tells him that she would think no less of him if he wished to indulge in amorous adventures with others provided that he:

1. lets her be a part of it too

2. do it to fix people's miserable lives

Awesome. I feel it now. "The two adventurers seeing the world". And not just seeing, they're out to fix whats broken with the world, with the blessing of Dibella upon them.

FoxFingers, this feels complete. Her quest was much more refined than Aela's or Jenassa's. And I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for this. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it turned out to be pretty well done. After this quest, it feels like Serana has now got a goal and some insight in her life. Which is definitely more than what Bethesda ever did for her. Breathes a new life into her character and gives her life a new meaning. I also hereby, show full appreciation of those occasional pinches of intelligent humor you add which make the Dragonborn's partners giggle, thereby getting impressed, and those mischievous moments when the Dragonborn pretends to be completely oblivious towards the burning passion inside his partners which he himself intentionally lights up, in the first place.

One question, though- Is Amorous Adventures meant to be done with Schlongs Of Skyrim Full Version? Because I use the Lite Version and I have never ever seen a sex scene playing out in a proper manner like its supposed to. I mean it doesn't look aligned. My partners keep stroking, or sucking, or jumping on a virtually longer and a more curved schlong which breaks immersion. If thats the case, you should explicitly mention it in the mod description that other than the SOS full version, the anims would not align properly.

I really like these. I won't normally spend 3 hours watching playthroughs - I mean unless of course I get the satisfaction of hearing the poor bastard read my tripe out loud. Then I'm amused.

But these are showing me some Mods I've never used and that's pretty cool. Sofia looks pretty funny. Also your sound is good, can hear you clearly and you're pretty funny with the narrative!

Geeze, I want to go back and re-do some of Illia's convo now and make a point of addressing her dead mother laying nearby. Heh.

With that many Mods, though, it seems like almost a certainty you'd hit the corrupted save issue. I guess you'll need to watch your String count maybe.

It takes ridiculous hours to make and voice these quests and feedback is pretty much all I have to look forward to for the effort.

The Lydia stuff comes from this Mod - like playing Daedra and Battlemages. If you use Amazing Follower Tweaks there's a no-friendly fire patch that keeps them from killing each other. Usually.

SoS and animation alignment - you know, that's going to be completely between you and SexLab. How you set all that up. This Mod just throws requests for Sex over the fence to the framework and hopes something there deals with it. Amorous Adventures doesn't set-up or align characters.

Anyway, I really do appreciate you taking the time to post such a thoughtful look into the quest. It's rare people do that. Bit of a tight rope to move Serana from Molag Bal to Dibella while keeping the story from degenerating but, seems like it mostly worked.

Number one reason is Dead Characters. Check the walk through doc for the characters needed - make sure they are alive to fill the aliases so the quest can start.

Sofia is a lot of fun, and has a 30 in game day progressive relationship leading to a custom marriage ceremony, followed by yet more new dialog. She repeats herself, but she's one of the best comedy followers.

I'm a bit worried about corrupted save games, but I've followed the advice Sacremas gives in his modding guide closely, plus advice I've gotten from Fishburger and others. I'm also used to cleaning saves with the Skyrim Save Tool.

So, it might all come tumbling down, but probably not for a while.

It'll take one more video to wrap up the Riften Amorous Adventures quest. Should be fun.

I'm a bit worried about corrupted save games, but I've followed the advice Sacremas gives in his modding guide closely, plus advice I've gotten from Fishburger and others. I'm also used to cleaning saves with the Skyrim Save Tool.

Indeed, far be it from me to speak for Sacremas, of course, but I believe this issue came to light after he gave up or put Skyrim on Hiatus. It's the new thing affecting heavily modded games.

I mean, you can check your current String count. As soon as strings goes past 65,000 (I believe) that's the end of your game.

I'm actually considering completely re-doing Amorous Adventures to lower it's string usage. I think it's at 350 or so. Still, trivial compared to Mods like Interesting NPC's which add 2000+ by itself.

I understand. I wish I could help you with something, but I don't know Skyrim modding yet. I've modded many other games, and at one point I was one of the most active modders in GTA community churning out mods like crazy but I have yet to get my feet wet with Skyrim mod-making. I don't understand the engine. Hopefully in near future. I aim to finish playing this vast game first. Been playing since Sep 2015 and have yet to fully explore it.

Really? Well, I never tampered with any of SL's values. I installed it and forgot it. I downloaded it just because your mod required it. Other than that, I've never really bothered with it. I guess I'll have to download the full version of SOS then, because the lite version just isn't cutting it.

Aww... I'm glad I could be of help. I understand that it must've been really difficult but it certainly paid off, man. Its good that now I won't have to forego further AA quests, like I said I was planning in my previous post. Thanks for concluding Serana's final quest that way. Contrary to my previous prediction, I'm going WITH Serana now on further amorous adventures, what with her now being Dibella's official crusader and all xD

I just finished the new Serana quest and I really enjoyed it. You did a great job as usual and Bethesda could learn a few things from you about creating a backstory for a character. Personally I would have liked to have had a little "talk" with Nazeem at a couple of points but I'm not suggesting you change anything. I can take care of that myself later. Ansilvund turned out to be quite challenging for me thanks to Hateful Wenches, I barely made it out of there alive. I have never seen so many draugr in one place before near the end of that cave.

I just finished the new Serana quest and I really enjoyed it. You did a great job as usual and Bethesda could learn a few things from you about creating a backstory for a character. Personally I would have liked to have had a little "talk" with Nazeem at a couple of points but I'm not suggesting you change anything. I can take care of that myself later. Ansilvund turned out to be quite challenging for me thanks to Hateful Wenches, I barely made it out of there alive. I have never seen so many draugr in one place before near the end of that cave.

Really? What level is your character? I find it extremely rare to encounter such easy level dungeons nowadays. It was a piece of cake for me, even without Serana's assistance, except for those necromancers casting snow storms which drain your health really quickly... like... REAL quick. But I had one more trick up my sleeve for that- the spell breaker with elemental shield perk. Combined it with a necklace of frost suppression and I was literally invincible. Did not take 1 point of damage from their necromancy.

Problem I had gotten scroll for Nirya, now the gate in the floor will not open. Any fix for this without starting over?
