so i have the required mods, fnis and sexlab are both fully set up (the definitely work with every other mod i have), amorous adventures is at the bottom of the load order, i don't have any of the mods that are even possibly incompatible according to the description, but none of the animations actually play? they don't even just sit there, it just doesn't even try to start the animations? help?

Just to report if it hasnt been already i had for Serana 2 dialogue option saying ... which if i clicked it would give another saying TEST.

Not sure if this TEST was meant for new quest. Its not really major issue just something that gets in the eye. Those options later dissapeared when quest was completed.

Seriously, though, while doubt and insecurity about one's work are trademarks of any artist worth his salt, me as a happy recipient of your work am quite confident that whatever is coming next will certainly be enjoyable. No fanboy talk here, lad (or lass?), I'm simply extrapolating from the experience your work has given me so far. There is no Skyrim playthrough for me without AA anymore. Your mod adds so much depth to this game, your stories are so varied ... whatever is in store for us, I'm looking forward to it.

Use SexLab Matchmaker - a little mod for testing if your setup is working.  Test your Set-Up before trying to use Amorous Adventures.

 

If you previously used the CLEAN version make sure you have removed it.

If you use NMM make sure the CLEAN version is not being installed.

 

Follow the SexLab Install directions carefully.

 

You need a Body.  Either UNP or CBBE.

You need a skeleton

You need them in the right load order: Body before Skeleton.

 

 

You need FNIS

You need to run the FNIS tool to generate the animations.

Your Skeleton Version must be compatible with the FNIS version.  A mis-match means it will not work.

 

Looking at the All in one set-up Mod which will make the correct bodies for you.  It also has links to resources like the correct Skeleton needed and FNIS instructions.

 

When SexLab comes up, you need to get into it's MCM and tell it to Install.  You have to actually turn it on.

 

Amorous Adventures has very minimal requirements - just sex lab and that's it.  It doesn't need creatures, devious, arousal, Zaz - it's a real plain Jane of a sex mod.

 

I don't know if any of this will help.  Use MatchMaker to test your set-up.  This is really just general advice, I guess.

I have latest version of Amorous Adventures. I belive it was during "Our Love Runs Red" quest.

 

I was more focused on vanila quests so not sure exactly when it stopped showing those 2 dialogue options but i had at least one before meeting Valerica.

 

Dialogue says ... and when you click on that it says TEST. and serana is opening mouth like she is talking but no sound.

 

They dissapeared at some point after killing her father. Now it seems i have dibelian quest and i dont see those extra dialogue options anymore previous quest is probably where it happens.

Now, how many mods out there are giving you new and fully voiced quests with Serana after Dawnguard?  Quests with drama, adventure, and the opportunity to shag her rotten besides?  Probably not many.

Back in the day, when Dawnguard first came out, I loved Serana. She was as close to a Bioware style companion as Bethesda had ever come out with. I remember how disappointed I was when, after Dawnguard was over, she became just another robot companion, barely worth having around to carry extra gear. 

 

Skyrim has come a long way since then. There are appearance and armor mods that can make Serana look like a Goth Girl Dream. But Amorous Adventures takes her to an entirely new level, and even gives her more to say after the two of you have saved the world. (Well, OK, only sort of saved the world. Harkon was a moron.) To have her story continue, though, with yet more character development and dialog? Damn. My hat is off to you, Fox.

If you used version 2.09 and IF you started this quest in 2.09 then read:

 

 

PROBLEM: I used Amorous Adventures version 2.09 and started this Quest which was unfinished.

Unfortunately, there was a bug in the 2.09 Adult version of Amorous Adventures. (Not the CLEAN Version).

The quest could be started which is VERY BAD. This is because when it starts it fills the Quest Aliases, which were all changed for the final version of this quest.

If you have this, you will be on STAGE 10.

Talk to Serana and choose the dialogue option: "Serana and the Mark of Dibella - FIX STAGE 10!"

The Quest script will try to fill the Aliases for the quest correctly.

It is CRITICAL that you ensure Senna, Nazeem and Ahlam are all Alive in the game before trying this because...

You will not get a second chance without reloading the save to try again.

To check at the console if they were filled use command: sqv SexlabAmorousAdventuresDLC1_Mark

I've played through nearly every instance of this mod and I have to say, you've done (and continue to do) a fantastic job. Thank you for all the hours of entertainment.

 

Without trekking through the 260+ pages of this topic for the answer, does Serana ever take up her final task of going to the Temple of Dibella? I'll find out eventually but I was just curious. Also, does curing her vampirism after gaining lover status affect her?

 

That quest will be the next one released.  Possibly this weekend.  Next week for sure if not.

 

Curing her does not affect this Mod one way or the other.  Although if you get to that point before finishing her last quest "Burning From The Inside" I suggest you let it finish just for immersion / RP reasons.  She still thinks she's a vampire.

This is one of the best mods I've ever played, should have been in vanilla Skyrim keep up the amazing work. Just wanted to ask. Any plans to make quests/more content after unlocking them as a lover aside from just sex?

 

Funny you should ask that.  Yes, very likely any quest added to this Mod in the future will be more adventures with an unlocked Lover.

 

After Serana, the next one will probably be Aela.  Probably.

 

 

 

 

 

May i sugest a very lorefriendly idea of her dealing with the death of Skjor? Because he was her "lover" before he died.

And the dragonborn fill all the emptyness inside, by helping to honnor skjor with all the hircines totems, eventualy falling in love with the dragonborn in the process?

People seem to be generally in the Like or Dont-Like camp on them.  I think in some instances, especially like Serana and the Mark of Dibella, they really help add more context to what's going on.

First off, had you started this and left it active from a previous version?  If not, then it will just run normal.

 

use the console command:

 

sqv SexLabAmorousAdventuresDLC1_Mark

 

What stage does it say?  Are the Aliases filled or are they NONE?

Yeah I started it from a previous version. It says the current stage is 30 and there are 9 aliases.
