You should get some rope wrist bindings to force you to run away and escape at that point.

 

In any case, update your DD Assets, you're going to have lot more problems using that old version with current DDi and other mods.

Yea I had to wait until shocky released the new 2.8.2 assets for 7b, but i updated it today.

 

I also just changed around my mod order, and swapped from SkyRe to Perkus Maximus, so I had to start a new character.   So I re-added Deviously Helpless to the new mod order, with the updated assets, and made a test character.  Put on an arm binder, a gag and some other stuff and went up to a bandit.  Everything went smoothly, so either I had a conflict with some mod i removed yesterday, the new assets fixed it, the old save was corrupted or something, or it might be because I only set basic settings in my MCM menus just to test this.  

 

Anyway, hopefully it ends up working when I make a new real character and spend time working out all of the MCM's instead of just 3.

 

If not I'll probably be back here :/

Just a little question off topic: what's mod do you use for the Argonian's body (espiecially at the level of his hips) on your screenshot, Srende ?

Installed Skyrim again recently, every requirement installed but Deviously Helpless won't show up in the MCM ? Every other mod works fine (mostly Devious mods) except Estrus and Estrus Mimic (but those havent been working correctly for a couple of sexlab updates).

I tried SetStage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1 twice, didn't help.

There are times when you just have to laugh.  :shy:

 

I have just spent 4 days trying to work out why almost nothing in Skyrim was hostile any more.  I can't begin to work out now just how many mods had their MCMs tweaked and how many I uninstalled and reinstalled, let alone tracts of gameplay that I totally abandoned as I searched back to try and find a pre-problem save, all to no avail.  Finally, going through the umpteenth variation of Google searches, I came across a reference to the fact that sometimes this mod might need reset to make NPCs hostile again.  Did that, and the bandits are badass again! 

 

Came here to pass on the info, for the benefit of anyone else who might be suffering, and I found that there's a new version!  And it looks so good, too!

 

So, two queries, please

 

1 - Didn't see any on the Changelog, but are there specific update instructions? ie,

 

Do we have to uninstall, clean save, clean loose scripts, reinstall

OR

can folk like me using Mod Organizer just do a straight replacement? 

 

2 - Is my sort of problem dealt with by the following excerpt from changelog? ie Should avoid a possible reset every now and again, or would it still be wise to do one occasionally?

 

'Added functions into wd_util.psc for other mods to temporarily disable DH from starting scenes

  • This will reset on every game load'

@donkeywho Normally just overwriting the previous version is fine. If you had problems with it earlier though, clean save is better.

 

And that bit you picked from the change log only affects other mod authors.

Update to 1.15, a bit faster this time ;)

 

  • Added option to restrict fast travel based on worn devices
  • Added options to select preferences for devices carried by enemies to equip onto the player
  • Added toggle for allowing enemies to carry & equip blindfolds, won't affect those carried by the player
  • Updated API functions for suspending scenes work from mod events
  • Fixed some dirty edits
  • Fixed harness trigger selection

There's now an option to disable fast travel while wearing any device or while wearing blindfolds or armbinders. This defaults off though. Once set, and wearing the applicable devices, the option can not be changed until the devices are removed.

 

You can now select what kind of items you prefer the enemies to carry around for equipping on to you. Selections are based on item material & color. Available choices are based on the installed mods (DDi, DDx & CD, known issue with CD items not always being available though, clean install of CD will fix that for the moment)

 

For mod authors, the functions to temporarily suspend DH scenes are now useable with modevents as well, making it possible to use without having DH around. See wd_util.psc for details.

As I didn't yet manage to install 1.14, and 1.15 is available today, is it now worth waiting until tomorrow for 1.16?  LOL.  Don't answer that... :P

This log is from character creation all the way up until the character is stuck after deviousely helpless has run.

The issue came back again, I'm guessing it might have a conflict with another mod I'm using, or has an issue with some MCM setting or something.

 

Anyway just like last time, dirrectly after playing the scene my character gets back up and freezes.

 

 

Edit.  Pretty sure that it's having issues with either an MCM option in this mod, or another that I have downloaded.   When I do completely fresh with no MCM changes, I don't get frozen after the scene runs.

 

I don't know if you know of mods that conflict off the top of your head, but here is my load order.

Tried bolding things that might be more likely to conflict, I have no idea if they do or not, but just easier to see them.

 

 

 

EDIT 2.  Apperently if you have ragdoll ending selected under sexlab you freeze in place when the bandit(or whatever) attempts to bind your hands.

 

Once I unselected that everything went smoothly, but if it was selected i would freeze in place.

Hi All,

 

I recently discovered a "bug". When in werewolf (but I can assume it should be the same in vampire with the Dawnguard DLC), the mode activate all the time if I was wearing item before changing into wolf (i cannot equip a weapon when in werewolf).

 

Maybe it would be helpfull to add an option to desactivate  attack when turn in werewolf or vampire.

Thanks for the report, I'll see if I can prevent scenes while transformed.

If you do could you make it an option in the MCM menu , Makes it easy to avoid the mods main function of being HELPLESS , Also I would like to see if possible FAST TRAVEL disable while HELPLESSLY BOUND , again because you are supposed to be BOUND AND HELPLESS also could be a option . Great Mod adds much more unknown dangers to SKYRIM with the nexus mod "Extended Encounters aka The Sands of Time .

Are Blackblood Marauders(Nord Bandits @ Broken Oar Grotto)recognized by DH? They don't react to triggers. Editor ID MS07BanditFaction & Form ID 00088EE4. Broken Oar Grotto now there's an adventure for would be Deviously Helpless.

They aren't in the normal bandit faction so not recognized at the moment. I did add them to a while back though, so will be in the next version.

So when I try this mod, the female bandit spots me, says something, claps a few times as my character cowers, then runs away... then comes back and continues to clap until I get tired of waiting around and reload a previous save. Am I doing something wrong?

Post your log of that. What belt, if any, was equipped?

a Little problem; every time the draugr equip the belt on my char. the game immediately has a CTD, this whilst everything else Works without a hitch

It's just a variation of the normal iron belt, difference being the texture. Can you find the texture in Data\textures\devious\devices\rusted\ ? Does the iron belt from DDi work normally?

None, actually. Wearing arm and leg cuffs and a collar.

... Edit: and both soulgem plugs. I took them out and it looks like that fixed the problem.

 

I'll try get a log... I killed the bandit out of frustration and I think I saved after the fact, but this happened a couple times.

Seems to be working fine now, but I'm getting conflicts between this and sexlab submit. For example, if I use submit to force a bandit to submit, then sheathe my sword (I have it set on sheathed to check helpless, not unequipped... I changed it because of this bug), the bandit jumps to her feet and then turns the tables. Serves me right I guess.
