As promised, here's the current changelog for the upcoming 1.14:

- Added Silver Hand as valid rapist faction on human scenes
- Added follower support for Draugr scenes
- Added escape ending for Draugr scenes
- Added strip & equip support for almost any DD item from any mod
- Added option to disable sexlab strip override
- Added option to have merchants gouge you for more gold depending on the amount of devices worn
- Added perks for long time device wearers, restraints will weigh less after wearing them long enough
- Added a chance for enemies to add couple of items of their own when random equip is in use
- Added functions into wd_util.psc for other mods to temporarily disable DH from starting scenes
    * This will reset on every game load
- Included slave boots to trigger the trip event in addition to leg cuffs
- Skeletons should now be pacified if their masters have other things in their mind than killing you
- Fixed followers getting binds even when player got an armbinder after creature scenes
- Fixed not unequipping secondary weapon set properly on device events if used weapon was two-handed
- Fixed scenes trying to start when only enemies nearby were the wrong gender
- Other smaller bug fixes

 

 

As usual, it might change, or get delayed etc :P I'll do a more detailed writeup on release as before.

 

Also, if you're crashing after Draugr scenes or otherwise, Ashal just released PapyrusUtil 2.6, it's should fix the crashing issues with PU 2.3, so until SexLab 1.9 is released (which will include PU 2.6), I strongly recommend upgrading to 2.5 manually.

there is a compatibility issue with SD+

after few "skyrim hours" while enslaved,deviously helpless triggers for some strange reason even if everyone is neutral.

 

i can remove triggers to prevent that at least.

DH is no longer triggering at all for me, which is odd since I haven't updated/changed any mods since it was last working. May just be my save file. I'll try and post payrus logs tomorrow when I get home.

I've used DH quite a lot in the past, but for some reason it's just now acting up. I recently reinstalled skyrim and all of my mods, including DH. Now, DH's MCM won't show up. Does anyone else know how to solve this?

Do other DD mods (and DDi itself) work normally? Most likely you had too many mods starting up at once if you installed them all at once, breaking them in the process when each one tried to run their initializations simultaneously.

 

I'd recommend clean save without the affected mods and then reinstalling them couple at a time.

Completely uninstalled all mods and reinstalled. On first run of a new game, Helpless triggered exactly once. After that, it no longer worked. Even after uninstalling helpless from my save, exiting, uninstalling the mod, reloading, saving, exiting, reinstalling the mod, running BOSS (kept it at the bottom of the load order) and FNIS, and reloading the save, it still doesn't work... in fact, after reinstalling helpless, Sexlab Submit isn't working either now, and it was working before. :/ Is there some compatability patch or something I'm missing?

Completely uninstalled all mods and reinstalled. On first run of a new game, Helpless triggered exactly once. After that, it no longer worked. Even after uninstalling helpless from my save, exiting, uninstalling the mod, reloading, saving, exiting, reinstalling the mod, running BOSS (kept it at the bottom of the load order) and FNIS, and reloading the save, it still doesn't work... in fact, after reinstalling helpless, Sexlab Submit isn't working either now, and it was working before. :/ Is there some compatability patch or something I'm missing?

 

 

Well, the config for DH is completely hosed for you. Don't ask me why. The config doesn't see the main quest/scripts for DH, DDi or SL, making it useless.

 

Queuing the enemies seems to fail even before it checks if you are wearing anything, as it doesn't log anything from the device check. That implies either Submit or Defeat is detected as running. Though you're the 2nd one with a similar log regarding that lately. I haven't really used them that much for a while, it is possible that something changed/got bugged in a recent version leaving them in a state that looks like it's running.

My girl just met an armbinded Bandit thru DD for the masses II and because my girl had a collar on, she straight up raped my girl, but because the Bandit was bound, the animation loaded was my girl raping her. OK, but after that my girl was applied no device but an arm-bond effect and disabled menus. No armbinder script when I try to Tab (like struggle things). What shall I do now? Just run away?

Yes, if you look at your wrists, you should have wrist ropes that will come off on their own once far enough from the attackers, or after three minutes.

Could you add a check for the devices on NPC? Like if someone is "helpless" (equipped with trigger device) he/she cannot start a sex scene. Additionally if NPC is "helpless" but PC is not PC can start one.

Well that's peculiar... Is there any way to reset it?

 

 

EDIT: I just tried it with LOOT instead of BOSS on someone else's recommendation, but it seems even more broken now. Here's the logs. Going to go back to BOSS again and retry.

Hi Srende,

 

I just tried a clean save and this time loaded all of the suspect mods and tested them one at a time. It took a while, but I think I finally found the culprit. There seems to be a serious compatability issue with the "Submit + Devious Devices + Follower Friendly" integration mod--as soon as I load and trigger it, DH and SS stop working, and won't work again even after reloading a previous save (unless I quit the game first) or reinstalling the mods. I'm going to look at rebuilding my mod list from scratch again tomorrow without it and see if it works using a different Submit+DD mod instead.

 

In the meantime if you're still interested in scoping out the logs to see if this issue can be isolated/patched, here's the latest logs demonstrating the issue with a test run I did in which I installed Submit+DD+FF, waited for the mod to load, spawned a bandit, submitted, received an armbinder, then went somewhere else and spawned another bandit... who was immediately hostile, as Helpless would no longer trigger. I then attempted to submit to the new bandit, but that was now broken too. I finally tried a surrender (defeat) and that triggered, but the bandit remained hostile immediately following, not allowing me to escape. I had tested this same thing just prior before loading Submit+DD+FF and it worked fine.

 

Ignore the logs in the previous post, as that seems to be just completely broken due to bad load order from LOOT. The BOSS load order works much better.

 

I reported this issue on the Submit+DD+FF thread already but I don't know how active that mod author is, so here we are. If uninstalling it can get me running again I'd rather have DH than that.

I'm checking submit for three different GlobalVariables when the scene is starting. If any of those is set to 1, submit should have a scene running, and DH won't start a scene to not interrupt Submit. I confirmed this with dkatryl when I originally added the checks. So if it is indeed Submit+DD+FF indeed causing it, it would seem it fails to reset one or more of those variables to 0 once it's done. It might even be that the modified version needs that, I can't say as I haven't used it. But what I'm checking for is how it is working in the original Submit.

 

In any case, next version will contain some extra logging to tell if defeat or submit is running and how it was detected.

 

The globals checked are:

_SLSubmitBoundGlobal
_SLSubmitBleedoutGlobal

The biggest of your logs (3) had two instances of DH failing to start, both were actually due to not wearing a device.

What about filter through the aggressors once and rule out the "Helpless" ones? Just a bit more immersiveness.

Not wearing a device? Hmmm... I'm pretty sure at that particular point I was wearing pretty much ALL of the devices. And I was sure to include some from DDE/DDi too just in case it didn't detect the CD ones.

 

I mean things like Ebonite ring gag harness, armbinder, blindfold, padded/silverpadded cuffs, slave harness... most of it stuff bandits from SL Defeat/DeviouslyCaptured or Cursed Loot put on me so I know they're not specialty mod addons... and I know I turned on detection for everything but chastity belts and bras. Is it possible something's broken where it's just not detecting the devices I'm wearing then? What all devices does it support?

 

I know I HAVE noticed that it likes to ignore 90% of the gear in my inventory when deciding what to equip me with after a scene when it does work, so I guess it does make sense it could just not be seeing the gear.

 

EDIT: Derp, I may have forgotten to mention, that yes, I did test this immediately before installing SLS+DD+FF and it DID work then, with the same exact gear as I tested it with after... so it -must- be something SLS+DD+FF is doing, to the gear or otherwise, which is stopping DH from recognizing the trigger requirements.

The submit compatibility checks don't haven any effect on checking the worn items, apart from the worn items check getting skipped if submit is already detected as running. On that log I mentioned the wear check was run and ended with "not wearing a device", It might be you were wearing something that wasn't checked in the trigger list. As long as the item is set up properly like the default items from DDi, it doesn't matter which mod it is from, and all item I've seen have been so all should work.

 

Only thing that really would break it if the save papyrusutil uses gets corrupted, which should be extremely rare. Going into the config will rebuild the trigger item list anyway.

- Added functions into wd_util.psc for other mods to temporarily disable DH from starting scenes
    * This will reset on every game load

- Fixed enemies slowing down during chases when getting near you (finally!)
- Fixed followers getting binds even when player got an armbinder after creature scenes

You'll need to update Assets and Integration first as well.

The draugr scenes will now behave similarly to the human scenes, they attack any followers you have around as well, and you'll need to run away after the scene. There are some dungeons where you get locked in a room with some draugr, in those cases you get out of your wrist bindings in a couple of minutes automatically.

Human enemies now have a chance to carry some items around as well, there's a slider for that chance in the config, and it's per-item. However the more restraining ones still respect the restricive item chance slider as well. So for example if the enemies happen to have a gag with them (15% chance by default), there's only 40% chance by default it gets equipped on to you.

If sneaking during certain device events like vibrations or fumbles, they will now also break your sneaking and force you to stand up, also making some noise the nearby enemies should note.

I also finally managed to fix the issue of enemies slowing down during the chase once they started getting near you. They should now be able to catch you more reliably, their speed bonus has been lowered to 30% from the previous 50% to compensate.

As a non-combat option, any merchants will now take note of your condition and change their prices according to how many restraints are locked on to you, making it bit more difficult to buy stuff as well when restrained.

There are now also couple of beneficial perks, after wearing restraints long enough and getting used to them, they weigh less or nothing when worn.

For modders, there are now couple of functions near the top of wd_util.psc to allow other mods to temporarily disable DH from starting any scenes. This will automatically reset after couple of game reloads so it won't get stuck permanently if other mods get stuck or bugged, but you still need to remember to remember to use the resume function after your mod is done.

In theory, it should work with 1.58b, however that includes the older version of PapyrusUtil that will cause crashes. Why are you still running that? :P
