That bit doesn't show anything unusual, and it cuts off middle of it. And like the log says above and below the "error" at the end, it's not an actual error. Can you upload the whole log? You'll need to pack it in a zip first most likely.

Ah. You need to update your sexlab. It had a bug on couple of previous versions that gets it stuck when stripping actors in a certain way. According to the log you already have the latest 1.57, but I assume you downloaded it just after the release? Redownload it and install it again, it was updated a couple of hours after release to fix that bug.

Also, I recommend updating DD - Integration as well.

Hm, I downloaded it several days ago,  but I will redownload it again. May be it will help.

Hi, first of all thanks for your great job for this mod.

And I have the some problem. My char and the rapist stuck when stripping. This one was fixed after I update sexlab.

However, a new problem comes out. After the sex my char stuck there, lay down on the ground or just stand there can not be controlled. The rapist will just walk away and nothing happened.

Post your papyrus log as well then.

I ran into some random vampire encounter courtesy of DG on my way out of Saarthal - where some draugr slapped a bunch restraints on me. So, vampire decides to have some fun except DH says lul wait, error. It said something about Unable to start see log for details? I don't have it logging. So I enabled it now, but do I need to have papyrus logging enabled in skyrim.ini too for that to work?

Posted

Yes, can't do any logging without it set in the ini. The error isn't all that dangerous though, in most cases it happens if the enemies get distracted and run away right after catching up to you and actually starting the scene.

Well, I've fixed it.

It seems conflict with one of my mods which is for hair styling change. This mod will leave one item in my bag, it's acctually the hair style. DH will not recognise it correctly.

By the way, DH is great! Leads Skyrim a crazy helpless world!

That's.... odd. To say the least. Your inventory shouldn't have any effect, not unless that item does something else that changes NPC / player attributes or behavious. Still, I'd like to see a log of that.

My 'Enable Draugr attacks' option is grayed out, what's up with that?

Either you don't have draugr animations or creature animations are completely disabled in sexlab.

Posted

Nope, have animations and they're enabled. The option works fine with a new character I started. New as in saved before that guy asks who I am. But they're grayed out on a level 45~ and 54~ character.

Posted

Well, it checks the animation status from sexlab every time you open the menu. I've seen it get stuck oddly a couple of times though, so I'd suggest resetting the SL animations and using the clean SL option after that.

This file tries to load the masters in the wrong order, it wants ZAZ after SL & SLA, when the actual Devious devices says that ZAZ should be loaded BEFORE sexlab and sexlab aroused. Just tryng to help y'all out. I noticed this discrepancy in Wrye Smash. Peace out my Devious friends.

It doesn't really matter, I've switched them around a couple of times but CK keeps resetting it no matter my own load order :P So I've just left them be.

Here is my log.

Seems to be working just fine for the most part. Although, after the scene you attacked one of the rapists 6 seconds after they let you go. That shouldn't be possible as they should tie your hands at least to force you run away. You might've had some item blocking it in the same slot though.

And on an unrelated note, are you using the frostfall patch for SD+ without having frostfall installed?

Feature requests:

  • Allow customisation of trigger range.
  • Delay NPC monologue "Look at what we have here [...]" until NPC has actually reached PC.
  • Provide an option to replace the Helpless scene with an auto-surrender from Submit.
- Not quite sure whether I should rather ask for this in the Submit threat, but as it means to re-route functionality (as in: add and remove) from a given situation, it seems better to ask here first.

Basically, I like to employ Helpless as an ambush provider: If I run into an enemy with no weapon drawn (or lose my weapon due to existing functionality), the enemy is supposed to take advantage of that (a bit like the old N64 Mission Impossible functionality, where running into a foe around a corner will auto-surrender).

The current setup is not quite satisfying in that regard, as the NPC(s) always announce their presense far too soon (sometimes due to terrain up to quarter a minute before scene start) and, well, let the PC go once they are done.

Ideally, the mod would provide both options simultaneously: If a character is disarmed during fight or caught unsuspecting while yet able to resist, go to Submit; if a character is semi-permanently incapacitated (armbinder, blindfold, ...), go to the existing scene.

I hope such an extension would be to your liking as well.

I like your first two ideas. The third may be a little tricky. Tight integration with submit would probably require this mod to depend upon the submit mod. There are other mods that provide similar functionality, such as Defeat and SD+, and also people who may like this, but not any of the combat rape options. So a hard dependance on Submit would disappoint a lot of people. A tight, but soft dependance on Submit (meaning neither mod depends on the other, but can detect each other and do the right thing) would probably be a lot of work on both sides.

I would suggest instead adding an optional combat delay. Have Helpless wait a bit when a hostile NPC detects the helpless PC. That way the NPC can approach while still aggressive. Users of Submit can press the manual submit key and move right on in to Submit's functionality as desired. As a bonus this will work with any other mod that wants to do something with a helpless PC encountering hostile NPCs. If the delay timer runs out and the NPCs are still hostile, then Helpless takes over and does its thing. So at worst the PC may take a couple of hits from the NPC before Helpless kicks in and gets to the fun stuff. Being configurable, players who don't want to give another mod first dibs on a helpless PC, or just aren't running with any other mod that might do anything, can just set for no delay and have the current behavior.

One additional bonus of the delay idea: Helpless and Submit can have their own ideas as to which NPCs are valid candidates to take advantage of the PC. Using the delay, Submit can take over if it wants, or disallow the NPC. If Submit has declined, then Helpless gets its chance to take over. For a more direct integration, Helpless would have to pass over control to Submit, and either detect if Submit rejects the NPC, or just never provide the option even if the NPC is valid for Helpless.

Random suggestion which I wanted to request for quite a while now.

Since helpless runs its full body strip, possible to make that an alternative option?

Meaning; make a full body strip a secondary option like the armbinder/belt strip, otggling off or on depending on the user's taste.

I have an option coming in the next version top disable the sexlab strip override, so you can specify the options in SL.

Coming soon after next DDi version most likely.

@traveller_phi:

An option only disappoints those, who wish not to decide.

- I explicitly stated that the old functionality be retained.

Regarding complexity: I have no idea how hard it is. I know that mod authors have in the past included such kind of (for the lack of a better term) "dynamic dependencies" with no pressing need, so it should not be too hard.

... Or mayhap those enjoyed it.

(An example would be Skinny Dipping <- Wardrobe Manager.)

--

Mayhap it would be more conductive to request a "scene override interface", which can be linked from another mod, be that Submit, Defeat, whatever else?

- Indeed, while Submit and Defeat are more or less mutually exclusive, one might team them up with both Helpless and Sanguines Debauchery (and thence in extension with all of Death Alternative) for different behaviours under different context of the same general situation... mayhap it is time for an ambiguation framework to tie them together.

- Mayhap I should request Death Alternative integration.

I just do not know, what conduct would be the most sensible from a technical point of view.
