love using the mod, but there are just a few pet-peeve-y things I'm noticed.

 

Some of the grammar is just... off.

 

The biggest one of these being for the arousal level descriptors. (i.e. "I'm having difficulty to focus...). I know its silly, but I have been able to find a db.text file that holds these notifications, because then I could just make the grammatical adjustments without having to post something like this. Didn't mean to call you out if English isn't your first language. I understand its hard as fuck to learn when we have twice as many rules for our language usage than every other language in the world combined and doubled.

When I have the option to break up larger sentences why does it come out in the wrong order? I goes like "Segment 3,2,1 rather than 1,2,3." is there any way to fix this?

 

What I mean is : "{PRIMARY}'s {WET} {WTVAGINAL} {PUSSY} begins to tighten around my {COCK} as if trying to milk it."

 

Will come out as :

 

{COCK} as if trying to milk it."

This is JUST what I needed! " However, all the Apropos mod does is say I'm being abused, That it's horrible, it hurts, I find it disgusting, and just plain "NOOOOOO!!!!! " In other words, Apropos does the exact opposite of what I wanted it for.

In accordance with the principle that the best answer to offensive speech is more speech, my workaround is to create my own message, which reads:

 

'A virgin? Me??! I'm so sexually active even the oil in my vegan salad dressing is Extra Slutty!'

Apropos can say whatever you want it to. Edit the db to your own personal tastes, and your PC can say exactly those things. Or edit someone's custom db and simply remove the lines that aren't to your taste. Or just delete all the rape files, and copy the existing consensual ones renaming them as rape.

 

No tools are required to create your own db, just notepad or some such. Once you understand the format it uses, it's easy.

 

If you want your PC to begin the game as sexually experienced rather than a virgin, go into the MCM's Wear & Tear options, and raise all values to 1: Tight, rather than 0: Virgin.

Hey gooser, sorry about that, I know better than that.  Head up my ass trying to do too many things at once yesterday.  Attached is my most recent log with debug and trace enabled.  As you can tell by reviewing it, it arbitrarily started tracking Vilja during my last playthrough, still doesn't track the player though.  This was a totally new install, no upgrade.  It also appears to have issues with some of the synonyms, but I thought that was related to the tracking issue.  Thanks again for the quick response and I apologize for not including the basic info to begin with.

Downloaded it here off the Lab.  I'm thinking maybe I got a bad download of the entire archive, not just the Synonyms.txt.   I don't have any options in MCM under the wear and tear settings, nothing with aroused either.  Guess I'll dump the entire thing and try again..

hello! i recently started having an issue with apropos, every time i enable it through mod organizer my game CTDs when i try to start it up? disabling it lets me start it again immediatly

I don't know if this has been mentioned in the thread but when using a combination of sexlab cumshot, apropos and sos equipable schlong the text doesn't show up when my female PC rapes somebody with their schlong. Its no real biggie but i thought i'd mention it.

Because I get messages such as "could not find arousal adjective array for {FAROUSAL}" or "could not find synonym array for ..."

 

And apparently it refuses to put down the actor's names in descriptions despite the fact I changed them from "ACTIVE/PRIMARY" to "ACTIVE/PRIMARY_NAME"

The only slight irritant is that the foreplay messages work perfeclty (come on time) while the main course ones are often a little delayed. But all things considered, Apropos is an astonishing success. Much lookng forward to future developments.

Are you using the current beta version or previous version? For me, the Beta version of Decauk's files tends to miss adjectives, synonyms, or names and never describe the first stage
