Vault_Girl Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 YES! I have bee looking for this mod for too long, finally found it, muahahaha!
aloevera5 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Ideally Jcontainers would be removed and made a requirement, then Apropos will update to Jcontainers 3.0. I hope that happens soon, there are good mods making the upgrade!
Deimo Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Apropos is compatible with Familiar Faces? Because both require Jcontiners 0.67. Regards
delicioustree Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 would it be possible to have the databases people made in the first post and/or on the download page? I had to spend a lot of time looking for things people referenced in the thread (never found a link to an august beta version of this mod either). Using a database from a user here really improved the experience (plus the one included with the mod doesn't use all the descriptions the mod is capable of). I am currently using estelles' database ( b )with the June version of this mod and it's working great except for 1 animation with a wolf giving me an a weird message. I am guessing it's a reference for a future version.

Since you are using estelles' database I hope you can help me with this problem I got after installing: The mod doesn't work for any female/female animations. Whether consensual or agressive one. Male and Female all worked thus far whter consenual or agressive. I've gone through the estelles' database file and there are plenty of txt files there with Lesbian content, but it just doesn't play. Did you or anyone else on this thread for that matter experience this problem and knows how to correct it?

Did you or anyone else on this thread for that matter experience this problem and knows how to correct it? Sure, I can answer that:) The mod can only show what it has been programmed to show. The mod doesn't currently show any text for female on female. When the mod is updated, you will already have the files necessary to show text for it. As I understand it, Estelles made a support mod which allows that text to show as well as making it appear in the middle of the screen but it requires running in window mode and takes a lot of resources. Since I use a lot of mods, I am waiting for a less resource hungry version of this mod, or a plug-in. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/34407-estelles-apropos-utility-for-text-overlay-quick-text-edits-tts-and-f-f-support-wip/

Yeah, that's where I got the db. I had this mod installed for a month before I found the databases and I spent hours looking for the so-called non stable test version of the mod with additional functions and still haven't found it. Would appreciate it if was easier to find.
sarenarcturus27 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 The descriptions are missing nouns in my game. It will say something like " fills your for the first time". Anyone know how to fix that, or what I have done wrong?

Anyone know how to fix that, or what I have done wrong? Did you hit Refresh in the MCM/Message Preferances menu? That worked. Thank you so much for your fast response. One more question. I get one message at the beginning of the sex, and then 3 or 4 at the very end. Is that normal? Or is it supposed to give me a message at each "stage" or position change?

MementoMori669 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Thanks for all your work on the mod. Looking forward to update to new Jcontainers so I can continue to use it. For now just reverted back to SLDescribe 1.4 I found on some Japanese site.
gooser Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 Hello everybody. I'm back from an extended summer holiday.
gooser Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 Thanks for all your work on the mod. Looking forward to update to new Jcontainers so I can continue to use it. For now just reverted back to SLDescribe 1.4 I found on some Japanese site. Regarding JContainers. It appears that several other mods are now using it. I don't know of any incompatibilities between Apropos and the new version of JC, although I have not done any testing. Can you please tell me if you haven't just installed the latest version of JC on top of Apropos?
pinky6225 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Is there a way to limit the number or type of NPC's that it tracks wear and tear for? If there's not would it be possible to add in an option so you can have it track followers/important NPC's but not every NPC as I was playing with slaverun + enforcer yesterday and I ended up having it track pretty much every female NPC in whiterun which i think was causing some slow down

Already the mod restricts tracking to unique (named) NPCs. Is that not sufficient?

For me it was tracking more than unique named ones (i assume by this you mean like ysolla for example) as it was tracking all of the slaves added in by slaverun which i didn't think were unique from the names, will check in that thread

If not, then there is a bug.

Those *could* be unique NPCs that just so happen to be named with generic sounding names.

Depends on what version of JContainers your using im a recent user of this mod I installed this one and let it overwrite everything it asked slave tats stopped working. So i dumped the latest JContainers in and Apropos stopped working I have a SS of my console for ya to. I have fixed the issue since though. The w&t part of the mcm was broke to no entrys for oral anal and vagianal.
