nunyabidnez Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Some details would help: new save game or upgrade? Have you tried a new character? Also can you post an apropos log with Debug and Trace levels turned on? Hey gooser, sorry about that, I know better than that. Head up my ass trying to do too many things at once yesterday. Attached is my most recent log with debug and trace enabled. As you can tell by reviewing it, it arbitrarily started tracking Vilja during my last playthrough, still doesn't track the player though. This was a totally new install, no upgrade. It also appears to have issues with some of the synonyms, but I thought that was related to the tracking issue. Thanks again for the quick response and I apologize for not including the basic info to begin with.
estelles Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Hey I came up with a sort of 'ugly' workaround for the short time papyrus shows the apropos sentences.. I use autohotkey to show a overlay on top of the game with the sentences. It reads these from the apropos.0.log file. It only works if you run your game in windowed mode, because you cannot overlay anything in fullscreen mode without hacking the d3d9.dll and i'm too noob to do this.. but in combination with onetweak, an skse plugin for borderless fullscreen, you hardly notice the difference between windowed and fullscreen mode. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40706/? Here is the autohotkey script. you need autohotkey, http://www.autohotkey.com/, and then use notepad to edit the first line to the path to your apropos.0.log file. start the script and then run the game in windowed fullscreen, (use some mod on nexus, to achieve this, eg. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40706/? ) gooser can you tell me if there is a way to disable the papyrus rendering of the messages in game, so I can just use just the overlay? I might add some extra features such as fading texts later. ok, I apparently can't attach autohotkey files. so rename the file extention to .ahk to run it. I posted an updated version of the text overlay utility on the description submission thread, http://www.loverslab.com/topic/28360-apropos-feature-request-and-descriptions-submission/page-11?do=findComment&comment=846271
Grimbold the unlovely Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I have just run into a strange issue where Apropos can no longer read any of the synonyms for either body parts (pussy, cock) or actions (plowing). I seem to recall that others had this problem, but with a much older version of the mod. Strangely, it only affects my maile character, not my female one. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix? I get a message saying that the map cannot be found (or something like that) Just to clarify, when I say 'cannot read', the message draws a blank: '[male name] glides his [blank] between your [blank]'-where the first blank should be cock, and the second boobs.

I enabled them within game, using mcm (ticking the relevant boxes), but the folder and files are just not where they should be (in My documents/ my games/ skyrim). Am I looking in the right place? I am sure that was the path stipulated in the instructions.

Grimbold the unlovely Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 That is immensely helpful. Thank you! I had not enabled Papyrus logging, not realizing that it was disenabled by default. I shall try again and with luck have an Apropos log file to post soon. thanks again!

I now have log files and here are the two marked Apropos. Is that all you need? I'm very curious as to what might be causing this.
gooser Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 Post your synonyms.txt. That looks problematic.
galgat Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Over all I found this one of the most interesting mods in the sexlab area, because it adds story to the assault's, I know I spent a great deal of time adding verbal assaults to My Oblivion mod's during the Defiling acts, and I found it was better than the one line at the start of the act, and one line at the end, with nothing inbetween, giving I always thought much more body and context to the event, or story. (even if the random function had repeats of the same dialog) I have been editing a lot of the dialog, in my version of this Mod, and finding some limitations, but this is a very good Mod, for the reasons I explained. PLease keep up the work on this one, But do try to streamline it as much a possible, as it seems rather FPS intense for me for some reason, but I love the Way you have it going, and I think it should become a standard Install for many.
Grimbold the unlovely Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Post your synonyms.txt. That looks problematic. Here you go. I did edit it a bit, but I have two games in progress and one of them has no issues. It is just my malle player character who draws blank synonyms. Thank you so much for looking at this, Gooser. Synonyms.txt
gooser Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 Looks like the file has a spurious '-' in the first line as the first character. This prevents it being a valid json file. You should always be validating your files against http://jsonlint.com if you are editing them.

Skeith1346 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 This mod looks like its is going to be amazing but I did have a stupid question that has been bugging me for a while. It isn't really clear to me by reading what you have posted but does this support female/female? Sorry if this has been answered.
Guest Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 It doesn't seem to work yet, no. Not sure if it's on Gooser's priority list, but he definitely seems to be paying more attention to it than other stuff, so it might even be working in the next update.

germanicus Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 One interesting thing that maybe someone already mentions, as well as I learned that 3W (MFF) is not done yet, is that when my male PC have sex with 2 of his female followers, one of her was sucking his cock while the other was kissing him, the game said: "you stick your cock in XXX ass." I had a good laugh. So, since I'm not familiar with the progress of this mod because I'm very busy with mod testing, can someone tell me if it is being worked on 3W sex and similarly. Also, when my female PC has a sex with an animal, I got 2 messages right after another. First one is normal, describing present sex act, but second one treated that sex act as rape, although it is a consensual sex. I apologize in advance if this has already been answered, so I would understand if no one will reply to this post.
Amber Fletcher Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I have no idea why but this doesn't work all the time for me, and it refuses to work for any creature sex animation that happens to my character for some reason, any suggestions as to why it'd be ignoring the creatures?
