I do like the descriptions a lot but the W&T is the big thing I have been waiting on. I am sure I will have a lot of feedback/requests for that when you implement it. I am pretty happy with the current description system and have been for awhile. I know you have been tweaking it and working out some bugs.

Yeah, "sore" could be a good or bad thing depending upon whether or not you are masochist.

 

Simply, the W&T (Wear and Tear) system is just a way for adding "consequences" into the world of sex in Skyrim. The next release of Apropos will actually have 'effects' or 'penalties' added to the description adjectives. It's something that I am currently working on. I guess W&T really makes sense if you are playing for pseudo-realism, and are actually playing a "Dragonborn", that is, you are actually "playing" the game, rather than just using Skyrim and SexLab as a platform for creating sex animations.

 

There is a button to clear W&T for both the Player and any NPC's. I'll add some code to stop tracking W&T when someone turns off the feature completely also.

Thank you gooser and nutluck. I appreciate your help. So far, W&T is not something I want. I'm not saying that it is a bad thing or similar, rather, it's not something I like.    I still didn't got the answer for my second question:

No worries and I fully agree having a toggle switch to turn the W&T system on or off is a good thing to have in this mod. I am all for options so people can tweak things to there desired preference.

It could be that the content of the non-rape versions of the specific creature description files were copied from the rape versions and they just read the same.

In fact, now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure that is the problem. It used to be we only had support for rape scenarios with critters and nothing was being displayed at all for non-rape. So I think a lot of the files were simply just copied and renamed.

No, that's the Apropos output. In the console the input will be something like:

those tags are what Apropos uses to describe what's happening.

Currently there are no active stage progression messages. Also animation change messages are disabled in code for the time being.

 

You will only see with the stock db animation start messages and orgasm messages.

Both Animal Sex and Enchantress trigger consensual messages with creatures, the stock DB file simply has rape-sounding messages. Change the non-rape messages in the DB folder to get consensual messages.

Checked with Hentai Creatures, Vampire Lord's doggy style animation is now anal, other 2 remain vaginal, all have 3 stages before orgasm.

 

EDIT: Also just checked, and the wolf's doggystyle animations are switched compared to canine. The new doggystyle animation is vaginal, and the old one is anal. So Wolf has 4 stages for vaginal and 3 stages for anal, compared to canine which is vaginal 3, anal 4.

This also happens with male PC banging NPC for the 1st (and 2nd and 3rd) time. 1st time is expected. After that W&T should obviously no longer be calling her a virgin. This is with NO time for degrade and like I said, her STATS are appearing correctly.

 

I haven't run this test against a female PC yet.

I have an update that applies to Male PC players only. It affects everything in the MaleActor_Female folder in the db. Basically the {PRIMARY} and {ACTIVE} tags need to be swapped in all instances. This needs to be done to accompany the code changes I've made in the mod. 

 

With Notepad++ you can open multiple files and do renames across files (using the Replace All in All Opened Files button)

 

So you could swap the tags with three steps:

 

CTRL-H, rename ACTIVE -> TOPRIMARY

rename PRIMARY -> ACTIVE

TOPRIMARY -> PRIMARY

 

I've attached a mod update to test, to verify everything before you bother with the edits. You can just backup your current db folder (or rename it something like "db.save") before installing this version of the mod.

Correct. What's in the current release has the correct placement. Use that as guide.

One other thing; have you (or anyone else) ever got the Seeker/Daedra animation to work? I can't seem to trigger it with anything, and I've never had it work before.

Can't find any fixes in the tech forums either. Until I can get it working, it's hard to write files for.

Also I've added tags (in CK) to the Seeker Race (DL2SeekerRace).

 

I haven't tested yet, but I believe this will make things like Defeat work with Seeker.

Also, I just thought of a possible fix for some of the weirder animations, like Zyn Rough Standing which has F>M Oral as the first stage. Could you change the tag to be something unique to it, like 'ZynRS', so then it has its own text files? That would save Apropos from needing to be rewritten to be animation specific, the existing structure would work. It would prevent things like Sex Stats or W&T updating correctly for that one animation, but that's not very intrusive compared to a vaginal penetration message playing for an oral animation. Just an idea, I remember someone brought it up and you said it would be a lot of work, thought this might save you some hassle if you ever want to try to fix it.

Pretty HC summons Seekers not dremora. I think SL just considers dremora humanoid, and not critters?

 

Also your ideas are interesting. Actually I was thinking of a fallback system. So Apropos would look for the presence of a series of animation-specific .txt files, and use those; failing to find anything specific to the animation, just fallback to the current mechanism.
