Guest Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I'll grab some NPC/NPC FF logs at some point tomorrow morning and check. Not sure how to trigger that with my test character, I'll probably just install matchmaker. As for futa FF messages? I don't use any of those mods, so I have no idea. If you do, just grab the logs yourself, takes only a few minutes, as long as you have Papyrus logging turned on. The issue you might have though, is that those mods generally count the futa as a male? When you use those mods right now, do sex scenes trigger existing male/female messages with Apropos or does it stay blank? Or do you simply have the futa's cock as a strapon and the game thinks it's just FF? The second one will work as soon as FF male animation messages work, although you'd need your own txt files so the descriptions refer to a cock and not a toy. Actually, you could just add the normal {COCK} tag into the FF txt files wherever 'strapon' or 'toy' or whatever appear. Thing is, that would also assume all FF acts in your game were futa/F, which depends on your game. EDIT: Tested NPC FF. [0] always seems to be the receiver, and [1] always the giver in lesbian animations, or has strapon in FM animations. Logs below if you want them. Apropos.0.7z Apropos.1.7z

Logs below if you want them. it acts like a normal armor with features... for sos at least and still triggers the MF animations. though the futa npc and futa pc can still be played as male and female... doesn't matter lol. so maybe just add a checkmark in the code to see if slot 52 is occupied all actors in the scene and that sos is installed. also that FF cum is enabled in sexlab there are mods that enable the male masturbation to be turned on for male and female pc and npc.
Guest Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 That's something you'd need to take up with Gooser. The problem with futas is that the game doesn't make allowances for them, only male and female. Futas tend to count as either neither or both, and how many females in the game count as them, depending on the mods used. Which means there's no simple implementation for them to function with Apropos. The problem with your suggestion is that it's just a regular configuration that non-futa users may well use. Plenty of people use SoS, many people turn FF cum on, and any specific secondary slot may be used by a dozen different mods. Hell, regular strapons probably use the same slot. Having Apropos trigger futa messages in these conditions would give a load of non-futa users the wrong messages.
pinky6225 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Should Female NPC / Female PC be supported now? couldn't quite work that out from the descriptions page

Sunja44 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 As I see in the requirement section that this mod still needs SexLab 1.39b installed I guess it's not compatible with SexLab 1.55 yet?

Minimum level. I haven't had time to do thorough testing with the new 1.5x SL, so that is why the OP has not been changed. Soon..
Sunja44 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Works for me with 1.56, not tried 1.57 yet. Oh, I missed the fact that SexLab was updated to a "new" final (original quote Ashal concerning v1.55: "This will be the final version for a long time...") version again :-)

pinky6225 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Had it working on 1.57 although i do have a question about how long it takes the W&T system to change back to a previous level (i.e one below sore) or is it only a upwards progression and we'll need to set it back down ourselves? (Had cleared two dungeons for the companions and not seen in change back down)

(Had cleared two dungeons for the companions and not seen in change back down) W&T degradation is moving from a linear progression to an exponential progression. That is the longer you wait between sexing the faster you recover. Also there will be special items in game to help repair W&T damage.
gooser Posted May 12, 2014 Author Posted May 12, 2014 Is there no way to make it compatibile with Radiant Prostitution? I really like both mods a lot! Who said it was incompatible? Is that on the OP ?
Guest Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Works fine with both 1.57 and Radiant Prostitution for me. Apropos and RP both add Jcontainers, so it may be worthwhile checking whichever mod has the highest version and installing that last. I've used them both ways around though, no issues.
chajapa Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Not sure if it's still the case, but Radiant Prostitution also has a couple files with the same names as those used in Apropos. I wasn't sure if one overwriting the other was going to cause problems so I uninstalled Radiant. If you have RP installed, and you then install Apropos, DON'T select "yes to all" to overwrite everything. LOOK at what it's overwriting. I had some odd issues in Radiant where quests would never complete (after installing Apropos). I am NOT blaming Apropos because frankly I didn't try to track it down. I had run all the Radiant quests available and after that it was kind of boring so I uninstalled it.

What I've been doing is following Jcontainers directly here http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/563-jcontainers/ , and keeping it updated and loading after RP and apropos in mod organizer. So far, so good - it appears that new versions have, so far, been backwards compatible with previous ones.

The overwrite is just the JContainer mod (not sure why you both package it with ) I do something similar to Pinute in that i downloaded Jcontainer seperately and then whenever i install a new version of RP or Appros I just re-install Jcontainer over the top. Saying that as both mods are now giving the current version of 0.66 it shouldn't really matter. Also I've had RP running alongside Appros for months now and it's not caused me an issue so i'd suggest you look again for another conflict/issue preventing RP working correctly.

The reason Apropos includes JContainers is because early on people were having a hard time getting Apropos installed and JC was one aspect to the "friction" to getting everything in place. I simply removed a lot of headaches for people by including it. It's no different than Sexlab's inclusion of PapyrusUtil. When I released Apropos, it was the only LL mod that used JC at the time. Now that has changed.

Jenneke Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 This seems to be conflicting with Sexlab Submit. The phrases aren't appearing, and the messages aren't appearing in the log like they did with Defeat. (I switched because of the bugs in the latest version of Defeat). I'm using Apropos v. 2014_4_24 and Submit v. 08May14_2323.
gooser Posted May 17, 2014 Author Posted May 17, 2014 Do you have the mod enabled and debug messages turned on? There's no errors in papyrus about Apropos which is good, but the Apropos log has nothing other than the mod initialization logging. Normally if you have debug messages enabled, it will log every SL event, including actors, animations, etc.

Normally if you have debug messages enabled, it will log every SL event, including actors, animations, etc. Debug messages were set to on and the mod was enabled. Here's new logs with the detailed trace messages turned on as well. I did two animations, one using the persuasion dialog from Submit and another using Ashal's Matchmaker spell. The animation name appeared in the console, but nothing from Apropos. Oh, I probably should have mentioned that I'm running Sexlab 1.57. I then removed Apropos, made a clean save and reinstalled it. That fixed the problem, but I'm not sure how. Here's the before and after logs, 1 is pre-clean save, and 0 is after. *edit: And then after exiting the game to copy those logs I restarted the game and got a CTD right after the character loaded in the standard "stick figure" pose of someone forgetting to run FNIS. I tried again and had the same result. I removed Apropos again and reinstalled it, this time NOT overwriting JContainers from RadiantProstitution and it's working fine right now. Here's the newest log.
Guest Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 A few things I thought I'd mention. First, neither wolf nor dog messages are playing at the start for me, anyone else getting this? Used Animal Sex, Dangerous Nights and Enchantress, same issue with all. Orgasm messages play fine. Checked my txt file, confirmed as valid. Also, one of the wolf/canine animations is flagged by SexLab as anal rather than vaginal. It's the one listed as 'dominate', where the front paws are on the PC's hips rather than the ground. So if you add horse oral, we could do with a canine/wolf anal as well. Anyway, here's a log for 3 consecutive dog acts. For some reason, the third act also had 2 orgasm messages, but that's not really a big deal. Animal Sex was used each time, seemed the simplest. Apropos.0.7z
gooser Posted May 18, 2014 Author Posted May 18, 2014 I'm just coming up for air after rebuilding my entire Skyrim installation from scratch. I have a bunch of code changes (actually almost a rewrite) for Apropos that I never made public plus I need to do 1.57 testing... Not sure why you are missing the wolf/canine messages. Can you try again but with detailed trace messages enabled? thx
chajapa Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I've noticed there are often times when the initial start message doesn't play (display?). Sometimes I see it if I jump to console quickly and it just didn't get to the notification area. Other times it's not there at all. If it YOU having a bit of doggie sex, try hitting "O" to change animations. When I do that I get the message. So my thought was that there was some kind of delay built in or something and very early on I remember seeing something about the messages not always playing due to Skyrim's internals. I still haven't wiped/reinstalled. I'm playing this on a mac mini with Win7 in a bootcamp partition. I only allocated 100gigs to that partition and THEN Skyrim happened. So for ME.... I may have to not only reinstall Skyrim but I *might* have to completely reinstall win7 after wiping the bootcamp partition and recreating it at a larger size. I've got about 10gigs free at the moment and I've moved a bunch of stuff off to a 64GB flash drive. I know it's gotta happen, and it probably will be necessity rather than choice and.... it probably won't be pretty (and will be accompanied with much swearing and crying and kicking of feet)
