gooser Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 i really need help at editting the txt file i did check every txt i edited on the jsonlint and it said the result is Valid JSON (i simply put the whole txt on the text box of the jsonlint and click validate json) but every time i trigger those words nothing appear ~ shows that problem parsing json ..................... even i re-save the txt in UTF8 it still no help can anyone kindly teach me how to edit the txt? i didnt change anything major in the txt i only did edit the words between " " and most of the new words are just copied from the same txt lol Yes, need more details. Like which file? Which exact folder? DId you replace a themed version? Turning on Debug and Trace in MCM will produce a helpful log file (Apropos0.log) WHY DOES NO ONE PROVIDE A LOG FILE.... ?? OMG Thank you for your kindly reply i was amazed lol i meet the submitter of this great mod i did edit some of the txt like "MaleActor_Female_Anal" sorry that i am a rookie, although i turned on the debug mode, i cant find the log file Orz i dont understand what is replaced a themed version The OP has a section on troubleshooting, including setting up logs. Can you post your modified file here? in fact im a player in asia and the mod i use is the translated version. Although the languages are different but i guess they are using the same mechanism May i know that what should i do if i would like to edit the txt file? my procedure is: 1.directly edit the txt 2.check on jsonlint 3.copy the valid result into the txt 4.run SKSE 5.update the databass of apropos in mcm after doing this i still recieve the "problem parsing json ....................." and it just keep telling me to check json validity on the jsonlint.com im using the default txt editor but not notepad++ and it does not working even im using notepad++ jsonlint actually isn't sufficient. JContainers itself has an .exe that you can drag a file or files ontop in windows explorer and it will validate more strongly than jsonlint. If you go to the JContainers page on LL, there's a download called "dev_resources.zip". In it there's an exe called json_validator.exe. Extract that .exe to the folder where you edits are occurring. Drag your .txt on top of the .exe in windows explorer.

Monkito Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Hello. Have a question. Installed everything and it works so far, same with slavetats, and also installed the textrues ( the big pack atm - not the optimized version ), but they dont show up after x rapes. Not on the face and not on the body. Also tried the small optimized pack, same result. What im doing wrong ? And whats the differenence between both packs ? Thanks.

The only difference is one is compressed better. Everyone should use the smaller pack. What abuse levels have you achieved? They should be visible in MCM.
Monkito Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Ah ok so i will install the optimized pack again. 7 4 2 -- 4 4 0 I tried to overwrite them with the maximum available via the apropos menu, but there was also no visual difference. Edit: Now i see a bit on the body, not much. But no tears.
gooser Posted July 13, 2016 Author Posted July 13, 2016 Ah ok so i will install the optimized pack again. 7 4 2 -- 4 4 0 I tried to overwrite them with the maximum available via the apropos menu, but there was also no visual difference. Edit: Now i see a bit on the body, not much. But no tears. Ok, I believe the bottom list is the one relevant to application of tats. You need to get above 4 for anything to start showing up.
Monkito Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Ah ok. How to increase daedric normal ? Btw, i tested the setting 10000 and everyting set to 9 via menu, Body textures are there but still no face textrures. The Fear/Abused animation with max debuffs are for now also not showing up. And another question How i loose the debuffs again ? Sleep for a few days but they are still there.

If you manually edit the W&T/abuse levels, you must wait in -game until the next period occurs where Apropos re-evaluates everything. The default is 12 in-game hours. So the test should be: edit all values to 9. wait 12 hours. Should see maximum debuffs applied, and tats applied.
Monkito Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Tried it, set everything to max again and waited 12 hours - nothing, did it again- nothing, Still no textrues in the face. Everything else works fine. Only the message pops up reduces a bit of W&T after the waiting period. Thanks for help.

I don't have a crystal ball.
gooser Posted July 13, 2016 Author Posted July 13, 2016 You could also do a separate test - can you go into Slavetats MCM and apply the textures manually and see them show up? If not, then you have a Slavetats issue.
Monkito Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I tried now to equip them via Slavetats, it works on the body and i can equip them, but the face Tattoos are empty, nothing to select. Edit : Hm, i installed now a few more tattoo packs for testing , but nothing shows in the face tattoo section. That's strange. Legs,Body,Arms, all works except face. Edit 2: Found the problem. The latest race menu version disabled it because of CTD's. bEnableFaceOverlays=1 enabled them, now they are working.
divaneam Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Hello, I'm kind of new to this mod, and just start to modify the text myself. I wonder if there's a way to modify the description for wear-and-tear change for NPC. Thank you for making this mod, and any response is appreciated.

NPC's use the same files for Wear and Tear, just only the Third Person Perspective. You want to modify FemaleActor_WearTearIncreased/Decreased_Anal/Vaginal/Oral

mikalero Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 I really like this mod! I can't imagine playing a Sexlab modded Skyrim without it anymore. :-) As a fan, I had an idea that I'd love to see included in the future. I'm just an end-user, so I have no idea how feasible this is or not (or if it would be easier to achieve from the BF mod vs Apropos) but - I also have the Beeing Female pregnancy mod as part of my core mod profile and thought it would be great if there were a way for Apropos messaging to register events from various PMS effects, stages of pregnancies, Labor/Delivery, etc. Anyway, thanks again for your work on this mod, and I look forward to anything that is released in the future!
anony_mouse Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 So in SL 1.61 and above, the cum textures effect is basically broken on NPCs since they are applied the same way as blood decals and thus disappear when going through most loading screens and doors. The method was changed to allow the cum textures to be stackable. I brought the issue up but since it requires a lot of scripting to be fixed Ashal decided it's not worth the time to fix it. However, Apropos wear and tear textures do not suffer from this issue even though they are stackable as well, so I assume you already incorporated all the necessary scripting. What do you think about replicating the SL cum textures within Apropos, so that we could disable them within SL and enable them with Apropos and get them working as intended again?
Dapper Dan Pomade Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 If one encounters the "Could not find an available widget" bug, is there an easy way to fix it? Like, a command or something that releases the widget and restores functionality? Or am I cursed to just reload to an earlier save?

Or am I cursed to just reload to an earlier save? I'm sorry you've reached this. I've played with Apropos for play throughs level 0-92 and at the end I was getting pretty good functionality from the mod. It all comes down if SL scenes get interrupted and the Orgasm events never get fired. I can't think of a fix off the top of my head, but I'll continue thinking about it. What I really need to do is provide a Widget reset capability.

Having the ability to fix the problem on the fly with a reset would be cool, though. For what it's worth, in my game I've noticed two mods that, in certain situations, will definitely cause this bug to happen. The first is Lover's Comfort. If you find yourself in a situation where a ton of NPCs start comforting each other at the same time, somewhere along the line it'll get broken. For me, it's usually in a Jarl's palace, where there's a bunch of slaves around (hydragorgon's mod) and collared slaves for comfort is active. The other is during one of the home delivery jobs in the current Radiant Prostitution mod.

Well the reason I brought it up here is because Ashal said he's moving on to other things and is not going to fix it, so I don't think it's on any short list. What he said after getting the bug report and testing himself: "The amount of effort and added scripting that would be needed to work around it isn't worth it for what I'd consider a minor cosmetic issue." So I guess if you don't do it, no one will since they would have to script the functionality from scratch. When I was originally testing the issue, I did do side by side testing with the Apropos wear and tear stackable textures and found that they worked perfectly while the SL cum textures did not, so I'm sure the issue could be fixed in Apropos.

I have been running Apropos and lots of SL scene generating mods throughout a level 80+ play-through and I believe I am down to the just the primary and one secondary widget, but even then it hasn't broken the functionality of the mod enough for me to want to worry about cleaning my save and reinstalling.

Last I read was that he was moving on to Fallout 4 after 1.62 in June, so I did not know that plans changed. Anyway, that does not necessarily mean he's changed his mind on fixing the disappearing cum on NPCs issue. I've asked on the dev thread.
Lostdreamer Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Hello again folks! Next newbie question from me: APropos seems to have stopped tracking player wear and tear. It does it for NPCs, but the player just has ["} as their level. I've tried Reinstalling and juggling the load order - they are both very late, and I can't see any conflicts showing in Tes5edit. It might be something to do with Slaverun, or it might have broken before I installed slaverun and I didn't notice because I wasn't checking it then... Any suggestions where I should start looking to find and fix it? It's a shame to play through something like Slaverun without the wear and tear effects.... Thanks again for being so awesome!
