Hello,

 

I've been using this mod for two years now and it's great.

It work well under most circumstances.

So a big thank you.

 

And now the question:

I made some change in the wearandtear_descriptor.txt file hoping to change the mcm list (tight sore well fucked etc...)

But my change doesn't appear in game even in a new game.

I'm using mod organizer and made the change in the data file.

1. Did you properly handle the Overwrite section in MO to create a new mod with your changes?

2. Did you click [Refresh Database] in Apropos MCM ?

Aww.. when i saw it again in the most recent in downloads sections i thought you uploaded a new version...

I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what, very frustating.

 

I have an "overwrite mod" for each profile,  I paste in it every file which end up in the overwrite when MO warns me.

BUT there is  no "Apropos" data in it.

Only some "defeat", "simply knock" , sexlab etc SKSE related files.

 

I modified wearandtear_descriptor.txt file directly in the "data" tab in the right side of MO.

And juste to be sure I right click on the Apropos mod >>>Open in explorer>>> go to the text file and modified it there too.

 

 

then I did [Refresh Database] in Apropos MCM, but it only refresh the synonyms database. Not the wearandtear_descriptor.

 

But in game the list is still the same.

A bit frustrating, because I have no idea why it doesnt work.

 

I know some other change worked because I recently modified the database  of flavour text and they appeared.

Just to double check, I found a txt file in my "Data" right side pane and changed it, and it did not get moved to overwrite. Notepad, launched when I chose Open/Execute from the right click menu, isn't integrated into MO. Unless you change a file though a MO based editor, I dont think it puts them into the overwrite folder.

 

Mods that save data in game count for that, as the game is run from inside MO, and is using its virtual folders for the location it saves things, thus the Defeat and SKSE and other files.

 

To my knowledge, none of the Apropos files are edited in this way, so you would do as you wrote, and right click the mod name, open in explorer and make all of your changes to the files there.

 

I do not have Apropos installed right now, but with the introduction of the Themes folders, you might have more than one wear and tear file and maybe you are changing the wrong one.  When you right-clicked the mod folder and opened it in explorer, did the file you edit have the changes you made via opening it from the Data pane?

Yep the change did transfer for the data file to the mod files.

 

 

I will try to made the change in a "workshop" file outside of MO and then reinstall the mod from this source.

Hope it will work. Otherwise I guess the data are stored in some kind of JSON data which are out of my ability.

No, Apropos does not use files external to its folder. I wanted to make sure the file you opened via the data tab was the same one. I would double check the theme folders and see if you have a W&T file there, and change its entries.

Damnit. I did update it. Perhaps I made the change and it was reverted back when LL bounced around and back? I don't know, but I do remember bumping the requirements.

 

Damn no changes!  Are there more changes to come?  One of the best mods still thank you.  Some text updates or finishing the final features would be great.  Thanks

If you don't read the thread all the time or even back a few days when you make an occasional visit you will miss information that you might be interested in.

Hi there!

I´ve got a question that someone might be able to answer;

 

I think the "overall - abuse" counter is too slowly increasing.

I have Serana as follower right now, and it happend to be, that her vagina counts an abuse of 7 and her butt has an abuse of 3.

But the overall abuse is only counting 3

So there are no textures applied, but thats what really makes this mod so great;

 

Can someone take a look at the script and tell me how to get a multiplikator in the maths, so that the overall abuse would be about two or three times faster increasing?

Or just simply write down a console command that I can copy and paste to simply force increase the overall abuse?

Did you validate your changes? Even a space in the wrong place or wrong character can blow it up.

 

When you start a game, and you the appropriate level of debug/trace enabled, the Skyrim console should be dumping what it finds in the control json files.

Hi there!

I still hope someone could tell me how to manually increase the overall-abuse on NPC followers.

 

I´ve noticed, that the mod works very great but in quite some cases, it just doesn´t count on with the overall stats on NPC although the counter on the bodyparts do increase perfectly.

 

Poor Serana went through hell for some testing and nearly all body parts are "battered", but no textures are swapped, cause the overall-abuse doesn´t count on and is still on level 3

 

And if someone knows how to do it, I´d love to know where I´ve got to change a line in the scripts to faster increase the overall-abuse ( f.e. in a 1 : 2 case with one overall-abuse similar with two bodypart-abuse counts)

-Created a copy of my profile in MO but without any overwrite.

-Extract A propos.rar  in a file on the desk for the purpose of tweaking it.

-Once tweaked made to Wearandtear_descriptor.txt, I check them with http://jsonlint.com/ and then Install my new apropos in MO.

-I Checked that my changed appeared in the new apropos mod (in the data tab my change ARE in the file).

-Started a new game from scratch, no overwrite new save etc.

And nothing changed in the MCM menu !!!

It's still the old descriptor list where the hell this list is coming from ? It's not supposed to exist anymore !

I made some other changed to the database before and they appeared in game.

I think i missed a critical step but I don"t know where or when...

Anyone know where I can just get the dialogues during the scenes I don't used aroused as I saw it was a dependency.

You are asking if anyone has taken this mod apart and provided just part of it with only the feature you want?

 

Obviously you do not know how it works, as the Aroused mod is required for the dialogues, because the arousal state IS one of the dialogues that show up.

 

So those of us that know you cannot get "just the dialogues" didn't bother responding because you didn't bother reading about the mod.

The Apropos log confirms that it is not reading your changes. Just compare the "descriptor" section in the log for W&T against your changes.

 

I haven't checked but iirc, the W&T descriptors needs to be in both the root db folder and db/bdsm (or whatever is the default theme folder).

First, I want to say that this mod is really neat, and I have been enjoying it a lot, so thanks to Gooser for a great mod.

 

I have been running a game where most female NPCs are "schlongified" with SOS.  After poking around a bit on this site, I found out how to modify the text database so that I get appropriate text descriptions for interactions between a female player character and female NPCs with schlongs.  Now that that is working, I was wondering if anyone had information on if there was a way to get wear and tear working under the same circumstances.  Wear and tear works just fine with male NPCs, but does not trigger with female NPCs that have been equipped with a schlong.  Thank you

Ok, progress is being made, I've now checked out and taken some screenshots of each of the 'unique' animations for reference, and noticed a few things.

 

First of all, Arrok Cowgirl is now 7 stages + Orgasm, so we'll need support for that.

 

Second, (Dog) Dayelytedogfun & (Wolf) Dayelytewolffun look to me to be more like anal when aligned properly, possibly with stage 3 as vaginal (the cock exits and reenters during this stage). Perhaps this is just the body I'm currently using (UNPB). I can go with either, and it might be fun to write  for an animation that's mainly anal but has a brief vaginal penetration. Could you take a look at it, particularly if you're using a different body, and let me know what it looks like to you.

 

Thirdly, upon checking the (Horse) stuff, we have Doggystyle (Vaginal), Doggystyle 2 (Anal) and Doggystyle Alt (Vaginal), not including the oral one. Doggystyle 2 and Alt are the same animation, one with each tag, so that works out nicely. Regular Doggystyle can work as either depending on alignment, the PC can be raised or lowered without anything else clipping. As I said earlier though, I'd prefer this animation to be vaginal simply because there's a lot more I can do with that, particularly since this is the only animation with real thrusting from the horse. 2 vaginal and 1 anal also means I can highlight the anal descriptions as being something 'abnormal'. Again though, up to you.

 

And lastly, we have the group animations. All of these are fine, pretty consistent, except one; Zyn Femdom. This animation is flagged as MFF, but seems to have been made with the idea that position [0] is the male, unlike every other animation. So the setup I used to test was this:

 

[0] PC (blond female with glasses and tied up wavy hair. Yes my test character is supposed to be Quistis from FFVIII, I figured it was her turn to get some)

[1] Wench (other blond female with straight hair)

[2] Gorr (big redguard dude)

 

And what it did was assume [0] had a cock, even though it didn't even give her a strapon, and assumed [2] had no cock, even though it's a dude. [1] seems perfectly fine, working with a dude, or a chick who will be given a strapon for this animation.

 

Thing is, [0] and [2] should be swapped around. The animation assumes [0] is a male and has a cock, but doesn't give females in this positon a strapon. On the other hand, it assumes [2] is a female without a strapon, and the animations clearly show there's not supposed to be a cock there. I have no idea if it's possible, but reversing positions [0] and [2] in the animation would fix this issue, since SexLab always seems to assign females without cocks/strapons as [0] and males as the last possible position (this is the case for every other group animation, including Arrok Tricycle which is also MFF). Position [1] is fine, as either a male or a female with a strapon.

 

Stage 1 may actually be fine with this, and certainly looks like it's supposed to be a female in the middle, but none of the other stages work, particularly when Gorr's cock is sticking through the Wench's head while the Dragonborn thrusts away with her invisible cock.

 

I've included the set of screenshots I took for this test if you want to see what position is where to confirm this. Again, I have no idea if this is fixable or if it's just a case of hotkey switching positions if this animation starts.

I think we need to wait for the update (timing totally unknown) because female on female sex doesn't trigger the W&T system. I think the mod uses the game gender not sexlab gender too, or you could use something to toggle sos females to male.

I had no idea this descriptor need to be edited twice !
