guliguliradish Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) Hi, I'm a user of sl163. Can I ask a question? I used hentairim before, and the most painful thing for me was having to go through a long wait for SLATE every time I started a new game, not to mention that SLAnimloader also required a long wait. So, does SLOVE no longer require configuring SLATE when starting a new game? (I've tried countless times to switch to SLP+, but all attempts failed without exception, so I had no choice but to use SL163.) Also, I almost forgot to mention that I carefully reviewed your GitHub for hentairim, but I still have some questions. Do I only need to keep the Hentairim tags? And regarding the "DD gag" audio for hentairim, should it still be kept? Edited 14 hours ago by guliguliradish

It's not just skeevers, it's anything that isn't mapped to C1-10. The default voices for any other creature (rieklings, skeevers, even seekers) will default to C0 which is full of sabrecats and bear sounds. 🤣 (I thought it was werewolf at first myself.) Drop by SKSE\Plugins\AudioUtil\config\SLOVE_voices.toml. Make your way to line 761. This is the C0 default fallback section. Comment out all voices there under orgasm (and/or breathing if you didn't disable it). This will stop the basic noises being played on... "release". I tried also turning off breathing in the main .toml as well but if you comment out the fallback to silence, that shouldn't matter. This way it should play proper sounds for proper creatures, and nothing at all for stuff it's not setup for.

And regarding the "DD gag" audio for hentairim, should it still be kept? The tagging system for Hentairim and SLOVE are exactly the same. So if you're asking if you need to rebuild a different action log than you used with Hentairim, then no. But SLOVE does use the Hentairim tags just as much. So avoiding the SLATE process is a no-go. I feel your pain with the time though. I'm on 1.66 with SLU+ (which is what really slows it down), so each new start is quality time with a book for me. :) I haven't looked deeply into it, but Crajjjj said there was some optional modularity instructions if you wanted some of the old Hentairim functions (Clothing system was specifically referenced there). But if you're just looking at Voice/expressions, then you don't need anything else from Hentairim setup except the tags (and old voice pack if you don't see your preferred one converted to SLOVE). The DD gag Hentairim plug-in isn't needed with SLOVE. It's basically incorporated into the base, as opposed to as an add-on.
