SLO VE — Voices and Expressions
Dynamic scene voices, facial expressions, and body SFX for SexLab P+ built on Audio Util  framework

Your actors moan, react, and make a mess — driven live by the scene, configured entirely in text files. No MCM.

WHAT IT DOES

SLO VE is a standalone enhancement layer for SexLab P+ scenes. It watches the running animation and drives three things in sync with what's actually happening on screen — voices, facial expressions, and body sound effects — reacting to stage, intensity, position tags, partner size, and measured penetration. Everything is configured in simple TOML files and live-reloadable; there is no MCM and no new gameplay system to manage.

- Scene voices — moans and spoken lines picked per scene stage and tag, for the player and NPCs, male and female. Shuffled so lines don't repeat, with orgasm hype lines, a huge-partner reaction scenario (SOS/TNG), a victim scenario, a moans-only mode, and per-voice volume.

- Multi-NPC and creature support — every participant in a group scene is voiced, not just the lead: partners rotate through their own lines so threesomes and orgies come alive, and each NPC keeps a consistent voice across scenes. Creature partners (C1–C10+) pant and growl on their own timing, straight from vanilla creature sounds — no extra downloads.

- Female voices work out of the box — they default to SexLab's own moan sets, so females are voiced with zero setup. Hentairim/IVDT female packs work out of the box too: install one and it plays on F1, the player's slot — no config edits, and any category the pack is missing backfills from the stock moans. You only need the SOUND FILES from a pack: SLO VE plays WAVs by folder path, so a pack's ESP, scripts, and sound-descriptor records aren't used — just drop in its audio folder.

- Female partners and followers (F2, F3, …) — the same Hentairim packs voice NPCs, not just the player. A pack's audio is authored for the F1 folder, so to add another voice install those sound files into an F2 (or F3, …) folder — i.e. rename the pack's F1 to F2. From there SLO VE can AUTO-MAP female NPCs across your installed slots: they spread deterministically, so the same NPC always keeps the same voice, with no per-NPC setup. Want a specific follower on a specific pack? Pin her with [npc_overrides] in SLOVE_voices.toml. Either way, just add packs and go.

- Bundled audio — male voice packs M1–M8, the smack / pull-out one-shots, and the full body-SFX library ship with the mod.

- Facial expressions — live breathing, stage-intensity faces, tongue-out (sr_fillherup), and ahegao on huge partners / high yield (SexLab Survival), with a jaw-gate so the tongue only shows when the mouth is actually open.

- Body SFX — slushing, impacts, claps, kissing and blowjob sounds, optionally thrust-synced to SexLab P+ collision velocity, plus contact one-shots on insertion, pull-out gape, kiss, and oral. Gape intensity reads from Accurate Penetration when present.

- Gagged voice — when a speaker wears a mouth-owning device (Devious Devices), her voice switches to a muffled set automatically and lip movement hands off to the device.

- Milk — optional nipple squirts during scenes via Oninus Lactis NG; with Milk Mod Economy also installed, squirts require and drain her milk reserve.

- Lipsync — mouths move in time with the audio (via AudioUtil), on any loose voice file — no .lip baking.

 

- Willpower / resistance (optional) — the one gameplay system carried over from Hentairim. Each actor holds willpower that drains while she's being penetrated, faster on rough scenes, unwilling victims, and huge partners. When it hits zero she breaks: her voice shifts to broken/submissive lines and her face slips toward ahegao. Willpower recovers between scenes over game-time. Separate toggles for the player, male and female NPCs, and creatures — or switch the whole thing off in [resistance].

Hard:
- SKSE64 and SexLab P+ 2.17+ — the scene framework
- AudioUtil — the folder-based audio / lipsync / TOML framework SLO VE is built on
- PapyrusUtil — expression preset data
- Mfg Fix NG (MfgConsoleFunc/Ext) — all face writes

 

Soft (auto-detected, optional): MFEE, sr_fillherup (tongue), Devious Devices (gag voice), SexLab Survival (ahegao), SOS/TNG (huge-partner detection), PPA Accurate Penetration via the AudioUtilPPA bridge (measured penetration/gape), Oninus Lactis NG + Milk Mod Economy (milk).

 

Recommended: SexLab Cumshot for visible ejaculation — SLO VE voices, faces, and SFX the scene but leaves the cum visuals to it. Best paired with my Cumshot patch (https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/41804-crajjjj-patches-hub/), which gates the ejaculation so it never clips through the head in oral or sprays from inside the body in vaginal/anal. Grab the base Cumshot plugin from the Hentairim p+ page (https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/43761-hentairim-p/).

Scene tags: stage/position labels resolve from Hentairim-convention SexLab P+ scene tags. Untagged animations fall back to generic lead-in behavior — you get the most out of SLO VE on a tagged setup.

If something misbehaves, two log files tell you why — grab them for a bug report:
- SLO VE script/dependency errors (missing mod, spell, or sound) → Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\Logs\Script\User\SLOVE.0.log
- Voice not resolving (which slot/pack an actor got, config parse warnings) → Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\AudioUtil.log

For a live play-by-play, set printdebug = 1 in the relevant SLOVE.toml section and watch the in-game console (~).

  Use a mod manager (MO2 recommended). SLO VE is mostly loose scripts, sounds, and TOML config plus one small ESL-flagged plugin — there is nothing to build and no MCM to configure.

  1. Install the hard requirements first, each per its own instructions: SKSE64, SexLab Framework P+ 2.17+, PapyrusUtil, Mfg Fix NG (MfgConsoleFunc/Ext), and AudioUtil — the folder-based audio / lipsync / TOML framework SLO VE runs on. AudioUtil must be present or SLO VE has no voice engine.

  2. (Optional) Add female voice packs. Females already work out of the box on SexLab's stock moans, but any Hentairim/IVDT pack is a drop-in upgrade — you only need the pack's SOUND FILES (WAVs), not its ESP/scripts. Player voice goes in Sound\fx\IVDT\F1; for a follower/partner voice, put the same files in F2 (F3, …). Male packs M1–M8 and the full body-SFX library are already bundled.

  3. Install SLO VE and enable SLOVE.esp. It is ESL-flagged (ESP-FE), so it does not use a regular plugin slot and can go anywhere in the plugin order.

  4. Set the conflict/priority order so SLO VE wins its files:
         AudioUtil  →  voice-pack assets  →  SLO VE (last)
     SLO VE ships its own AudioUtil preset — AudioUtil.toml (engine globals) and config\SLOVE_voices.toml (voice slots + actor→voice routing) — and these MUST overwrite AudioUtil's defaults or actors won't resolve their voices. In MO2 that means SLO VE sits BELOW AudioUtil in the left pane (higher priority). Voice packs only add loose WAVs under Sound\fx\IVDT and don't conflict with anything, so their position doesn't matter — just keep SLO VE the winner of the .toml preset files.
   

  5. (Optional) Install any soft dependencies you want the extra behavior from — MFEE, sr_fillherup (tongue), Devious Devices (gag voice), SexLab Survival (ahegao), SOS/TNG (huge-partner detection), Accurate Penetration (measured penetration/gape), Oninus Lactis NG + Milk Mod Economy (milk). All are auto-detected; none are required, and missing ones are simply skipped.

  6. (Optional) Add SexLab Cumshot + the Cumshot patch for visible ejaculation (see Recommended, above).

  7. Start or load your game. SLO VE's quest is start-game-enabled (it ships a SEQ), so it registers itself automatically — on a new game right away, on an existing save within a few seconds of loading. Then start any SexLab P+ scene to hear it working; if nothing happens, check the two log files under TROUBLESHOOTING.
   

  Mutually exclusive with full Hentairim p+ — run one or the other, never both.
  Disable SFX if you prefer PPA ones

  Updating: install the new version over the old one and let it overwrite. No clean save needed for config/audio-only changes.

I have been hoping for something like this for a long time, contextual sexlab voice audio!  But darn, P+ requirements, that doesn't work in VR.  

 

I also saw your mod on the Nexus and I'm hoping someone make a voice pack in line with the Narrator from BG3.  That would be pretty darn coo.

Another interesting release from you! The features sound good, although I do have a compatibility question: asdt123123 has made the mod Animated Gaping Holes which does an excellent job with gaping related features. Is it functional with your mod, or alternatively can SLO's gaping be disabled in favor of the other mod?

Additionally there's been another feature from one of your addons for Hentairim that I'd love to see implemented in a more standalone way. You had a feature that applied Predator's Liquid meshes after an actor had the appropriate intercourse. A mod (or addition to SLO) that includes that feature, and maybe keeps the mesh's presence tied to an actor's cum overlay state so it de-spawns when those fade, would be wonderful!

only think about though. personally, P+ crashes and freezes during scenes all the time, so i just can't use it, but _this_ mod _almost_ makes me want to spend a whole damn day troubleshooting. hopefully we either get a non-P+ version, or someone does something similar to this =/

I found the default volume to be far too loud compared to other game sounds.

Is there an option to disable ejaculation sounds? I looked but didn't see it.

This sounds great. Since you're making this as a replacement for hentairim p+, do you have a plan to also make an alternative for its director feature? The OG SexLab scenes usually lack depth and are too repetitive; having some randomization of the animations based on tags would be a great overhaul. Users can define the sequence of tags for generic/forced/rape scenes, etc., and the mod picks random animations based on the tags, so the scene can flow more smoothly and realistically: blowjob animation (tag) -> foreplay animation (tag) -> missionary (tag) -> doggy (tag) -> doggy cum.

No it's a deliberate scoping choice. Hentairim is very broad. Slove focus on voices and expressions . There is already resistance feature (important for expressions) and milk related stuff though.

And you'd obviously recommend yours as why else would you have built yours then? And why would you recommend yours if you don't mind me asking?

Well, crajj is trusted modder and actually understands modding. Meanwhile sexlab expression director seems so much relied on AI and most people in comments says its not working at all.

I think you have some pre 2.17 experience. It didn't crash on me yet. 

Non p version is in progress but api is more limited on older sl. Ppa helps a bit though. Slso will be a hard requirement and slate also

I tried it and it was either too subtle or something but I didnt see it working indeed. Maybe fixed already as there were some updates. 

The difference is physics and ppa integration. Hentairim tag system is a great context provider when no collisions are registered. 

The skse frame based lip sync is a killer feature. It is damned immersive to see actors talking the voice lines. And multi actor voices on top.

Ivdt was used by hentairim on voices but it has tons of limitations because it is esp based.

Now you can have 100 different voice packs and each actor can theoretically speak a distinct set if voice files.

I'm assuming that there shouldn't be a conflict with Hentairim's Director module if all of its other functions are disabled, yes? Main reason I've been using Hentairim for recently was the ability to switch stages and quickly disable animations, since P+ controls are still a bit rudimentary and being worked on. Replacing its expressions and voice has been a long time coming though, definitely testing this out.
