The dialog already gives me the option to not go down the sex path if I'm not interested. I see little point in going to all the effort of excluding dialog based on these things. It seems like a lot of work for little payoff. Are you suggesting sexual orientation and/or attractiveness is somehow racist/sexist? Other than that bizarre insinuation, I kinda agree. If I don't want to fuck an orc, I won't. That said, some people are really big on immersion, and since IRL people have certain preferences one way or another, I can see where something that believably distributes those things to NPCs would be desirable to some. Thankfully, my understanding now is that Attraction is standalone and non-invasive, so other than wasting an esp slot for something I'm just going to turn off ASAP anyway, it seems like a harmless addition with modder-end benefits. Arousal can go fuck itself, though. I decide when my character is horny. That's the entire reason I put in mods like this to start with - I will make my characters and NPCs do what I want them to do when I want them to do it. These mods are a toy, not a gameplay mechanic.

It can get annoying when you plan to do something other than wild shagging and suddenly get slapped with horny penalties, I'll give you that

I only partly agree with you... of course i can decide my character is horny even if arousal says she's not... but on the other end i like also that she gets aroused by herself if i forget "her needs" and also, i like the idea that NPC might turn her down some time... however cute i might be, it's not that just any man i meet in the street will answer "sure !" if i ask him "wanna fuck me now and here ?" so, i think that having the possibility to activate or deactivate the option via MCM would be the best... leaving everyone playing it the way (s)he prefers...

Not only does it do absolutely nothing where I KNOW it should, (Cidhna Mine, for example) but when I tried uninstalling it because I suspected it was fucking up the Thieves Guild Radiant quests, my game never loads after uninstalling it. EVER. And I did have some options checked, and then checked all of them when I was trying to figure out why none of the dialogs showed up. I have no idea what could be causing this or if its conflicting with something, but I'm extremely annoyed that I'm going to have to start an entirely new character just to try to continue to figure out what the hells wrong with the Thieves Guild radiant quests. I am aware that it's in Alpha and that this was a risk of using it, so I don't want to seem like I'm directing my frustration at you. I'm just mentioning the issue I had. Have you tried adding this file here to make it work? As for the savegame issue when uninstalling, that's a common issue with most mods that use scripts since the scrips keeps running even when removed. You just need to clean your savegame to remove those loose scripts. Try with a tool like this one here.

Try the Save Game Cleaner it can often help fix saves that have issues because of orphaned scripts and the like.

It seems like a lot of work for little payoff. Those options are there to effect the NPC's reactions not the PC. Since as you said as the player you can always choose what you want.

Let me start by saying I have not tried the last update or two of it. But unless it is changed you can or could turn off the effects for the PC so you would not get any penalties etc. I used it for NPC's cause some other mods used it on NPC's.

I understand your frustration. My point was it is rarely a good idea to take away options. More options means more people it makes happy. Lets take you and the Cidhna Mines quest. For me what you are asking for would not help me. Now I could say if it makes the mod sooner don't make changes. But I actually agree with you, I think more options is better. So while I would never use that option for the Cidhna Mines I am in favor of that option being included so more people are happy. Which is why i am against removing those current toggles, more options to me is always a plus.

As for the quests affected by the MCM options, I imagine it is a one line action to enable/disable each quest option if the quest falls into the category. So there should be no additional work at this point to support the options for the quests that already use it. So only delay at this point should be from adding additional quest options that fall into one of these categories. As to the built-in sexism, some of it is just impossible to get around. If for example, you need to influence a male NPC, and you are either playing a straight male or a lesbian female, then there are not really any good options. Does the NPC suddenly summon his daughter and say "Please my daughter and I will look favorably on your request.". Does the mod do a sex change on ALL the quest NPCs according to certain items selected in MCM? Even if your PC is bisexual, should the mod make all NPCs bisexual? And remember not having a sex option does not close out any of these questlines, it just means there isn't a sex option added to the ways to solve a quest. There are plenty of places where quest options will be unavailble to you for various reasons (speechcraft too low, joined the wrong faction ...). Actually it would be immersion breaking for me if no one would turn down my PC because she was not their type.

I think as soon as any thread gets beyond about 3 pages its pretty much a certainity that peeps haven't read it Will try with the file mentioned see if it adds in some dialogue as I'd just visited Riften where I know on the old version there was dialogue which I'd not seen on the new version

pinky6225 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 So installed the SEQ file and re-visited Riften and some success as after having the dialogue box open for a few seconds a new option appeared but then after the selecting it and it playing a sex scene the guard just kept approaching me and opening a dialogue box. If i moved far away he returned to his post but then when i approached again would just open dialogue box and after closing it the guard would say if i wanted to get in i had to co-operate
Aximili Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Yes, that's the kind of other bugs i warned about. But at least it did unlock the options. I also tried some other dialogues and they worked fine, so i'm not sure which one are bugged. From those tests, i think that the bugs are in the scripts since the quest advancement is not triggered properly.

Is there a condition that needs to be met for other dialog options to appear? Like speech level or disposition? Thanks
