I really don't have much I can say about the way those textures are arranged on that body - all I do is the background scripting involved, then call pms someshader. Is this the same for any set you choose?

 

No for me it is only the Type 3 Cali and Type 3, the BnB body works just fine. Those are the only two I've tested.

 

To be clear, is the lady in the screenshot your player character?

I play a male, and sometimes I get spermed myself, and when

I reengage sex it stays on the head and not the body, but the body has no texture at all.

I usually stay in 1st person so I rarely notice.

 

I think this could be a mod conflict (?), maybe reinstall and move down in load order.

 

DoctaSax will probably weigh in soon.

I play a female. I'll re-install, test, and post my findings.

This is out of my league, but

I'm thinking this is a much lower level problem than the mod.

Until it starts showing up on other peoples installs, you may never know if it's just glitched.

I initially thought the body .nif might have some unusual UV mapping (half assed guess),

but if it's happening on other bodys, that idea is bunk.

If it were me, I would make a new save, then start shutting down mods one at a time.

I'd start with mods that are not sexout related, maybe even disable ENB if you have it.

As I'm looking at the lust functionality that I'd like to move over to Spunk - albeit done somewhat differently, making some things a bit more optional - I wonder about such things as NPC approaches, based on either the NPCs being lust-tracked or the player's lust level calling in an NPC caught by the sexout scanner. Especially the latter: does it really make sense that you get approached if you're feeling horny? Isn't it kind of your own responsibility to do something about that? Also, even when we talk about the former, I feel the existing dialog in Lust leading up to sex sometimes jars with what is supposed to be the personality of the NPC, as well as sexual orientation maybe, and I wonder if something like this wouldn't be better off being outsourced to something like the intimacy project or any other mod that can diversify dialog based on personalities & similar factors. Thoughts?

I still plan on hooking into lust somehow btw.  Just so much new stuff coming down the pipe, I'm hesitant to commit to a method yet.

 

You just described how I use Lust as it is.  Sometimes I play along with the PC level, other times I flat out ignore it or actively try to avoid it.  I think it should effect the PC physically, and how the PC handles it from there should be up to them (including the option to find a quiet spot to rub one out 'alone').  I like it on the PC as an indicator of biological cycles, but on the NPC it's invaluable for both approaches and a factor of receptiveness.

 

As far as dialogue, I never use the Lust dialogue and actively try to avoid it so I'm biased.  I don't know.  I can imagine quite easily NPCs being perceptive to the PCs 'arrousal', while I think lust is more of an internal biological issue the PC has to decide how to deal with.

 

Just my two cents.  Can't wait for this with preg btw.

I'm looking into "finding a quiet spot" - even though the majority of detection functions seem to not work on the player, except for getdetected/getlos, and I'd still need to run a formlist walk against the scanner to catch every npc there. I'm also thinking of occasionally sending an npc over to whoever's masturbating, especially when they orgasm but aren't quite done yet, to get a "busted" variable on them - and if people get a high enough "busted" var maybe getting them an exhibitionist perk or something.

 

I don't wanna put down what was in Lust, but at this point there are a lot more options to make dialog & sex situations a bit more specific - for instance, if an actor is supposed to be in a relationship, it only makes sense that when they get a little hot under the collar they approach that actor rather than whoever just happens to be picked up by the scanner a little sooner, while their significant other is standing right there. Similar considerations for prostitution & orientation (we really need a mod like that, just setting vars we can pick up).

 

I also completely agree on the difference between lust & arousal - maybe arousal should be able to be raised (& gradually subside) depending on conditions outside of a sex act too: watching sex, flirtation etc, maybe even a level of clothing eval (wearing/seeing lingerie for instance) if I can do it without dependencies - and that might take an overhaul of the clothing eval system. So that people can get a head start on the arousal tracking once an act begins, for instance.

Yeah I see what you mean, perhaps Lust being a state of mind is best dealt with by something other than Spunk and Spunk just deals with physical Arousal and Orgasm.

 

Can we incorporate Orgasm into Arousal so when and actor reaches 100% Arousal they are forced to Orgasm and the duration by Arousal buildup time, with the Arousal ramping off as the orgasm continues with factoring of Lust, current stimulation level and maybe fatigue or endurance or the Orgasm?

I just hit the y key for the alone option when I want to tame the beast and get on with my life.  Intimacy already has a lot of that, getting busted, clothing eval, etc.  Right now it's using a generic system of 'desire/lust' which isn't entirely arbitrary, but was originally envisioned as relying on Lust tracking.  This is one of the reasons I haven't completed the effects on NPC 'inhibitions' yet, as I wanted Lust/Arousal to play into that.  Using arousal, I could have NPCs slip in and out of states of lowered inhibitions.

 

But once I saw Spunk was in the works I put that on hold for later.  Intimacy uses shared NX vars already.  But right now I'm just trying to get things to work so they need some work.

I don't mind moving over lust functionality itself because I'll want to have it impact or be impacted by arousal/orgasms etc, it's just that the approaches could be better, or I could leave them out for a while and focus on the scripting, see which way the wind blows.

Orgasm was always gonna happen at 100 arousal, what happens after that is still open - I definitely want the ability for multiple orgasms, maybe more xp gains for actually getting your partner to orgasm rather than just partaking in an act, factor in pullout/early stop (and of course the shader stuff depending on that), other stuff like that.

Also looking into the smell effects can we have the MCM set at a time scale or something so people can easily set it to 1 hour or 48 hours or know it's a percentage of a time period, like 0-500% scale of 12hours, for mods like Breeder which rely on the creatures remaining friendly for a time scale, can you scale it by hours or do you have different times for different spunk?

I haven't received any reports of issues with the time and Breeder, but not sure how many Breeder users are using Spunk yet.

 

Yeah for orgasm one of the things I'm playing with in Sisters is the ability to force an actor into an unconscious state by orgasm :)

I think I have smell duration on a scale of NG knockdown time + 1-900 real-time minutes; I opted for that because to avoid aggro after critter rape, you want at least a minute to get your shit together :P  I think it's the more user-friendly option, instead of a percentage of game day time which may vary for different timescales too.

And true, I haven't really tested that either. :blush: Well, we'll see won't we.

Questions etc.
1. I see some spunk on the characters body but it is just visible for like 2 seconds before it disappears/becomes transparent. Is there a way to lengthen the time for the cum to be visible?

 

2. Is there an animation/mesh of cum dripping out of a female's orifice or trailing down her legs after the deed is done or is that wishful thinking on my part. I think I havent seen it so far.

1. It should be visible for around 40 secs. It may disappear briefly if there's a callback or any other switch in perspective (1st/3rd), also sometimes if any type of menumode is used after the act, but should reappear afterwards. If you open up Spunk in the geck and look at the entries for the effect shaders, you'll see that the timing is hard-coded in there - it's the only way as of yet to make the visual trickle effect work, and because of that I can't offer a lot of timing options without adding a bunch more entries (3 set options * 5 species options * 4 volume options * X timing options = a lot of clickety-click). You can mess with that if you want, I just copied the values from LPK.

2. No. The actual application of cum shaders is still clunky, and needs some meta-modding work to become truly location-based. What is currently referred to as the location-based option in mcm is just that spunk will check how much cum is supposed to be on your body, virtually speaking, and pick a volume option according to that.

Hey, having trouble here. I don't think my game is registering the females with strap-ons as males. when I use the command to check gender they display "3" and it should be "5" if they're properly registering right? Any help on this front?

I have gotten it more then once, but I have not been able to consistently get it.  It happens at the end of sex, I think (complete shot in the dark here) it may have something to do with the shaders.  Last time it scrolled my entire visible console with that error at the end of sex.  However that time my char was the victim of rape and the rapist was killed right as the scene was starting (stupid brotherhood always ruining the fun).  I will post an update when I have more information on when the error message occurs.

I doesn't have anything to do with shaders, it's not any of those scripts.

A character getting killed during an act is obviously bound to create problems. I *think* it may have something to do with the part of the spurt eval script that creates a trickle effect from your body to the actor you're having sex with, but to really pinpoint what the issue is, I'd need the actual dbp readouts.
