necroblade23 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Ok I figured what I was doing wrong, I forgot to run the bat file now it works fine on new games. Although now theres a new problem where after my first client I have to look for the rest myself because no other clients come to me other than the first every time I start working and I have it set to both.

Ragnaroy Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Alright actually it seems that no NPC wants to whore themselves, even with the tavern clothes on/the amulet/in the military camp quest.

Vyxenne Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Hi- I updated from 0.81b to the current (I think it's 1.04a) hoping soliciting in and around inns would be fixed, but it's not. Before I updated, telling the innkeeper I wanted to walk around and look for customers resulted in strange behavior: 1. I would get a notice "A client is approaching" but nobody would ever show up; AND 2. Everbody I asked if they would like to have some fun said "I'm interested. Let's see..." and that was that. They never said no, or yes, or anything else. Asking them again if they wanted to have some fun resulted in "Maybe later" or similar forms of "no." No matter who I ask, all over town, the result is the same. Zero clients. So the bottom line is that in-house solicitation just didin't work, period. I hit "reset all quests" and "stop all animations" many times hoping to jump-start solicitation, which worked when I first installed the mod, but nothing worked. So after updating and running the batch file as instructed, I now get another type of failure when I tell the innkeeper I will walk around and look for customers: 1. She says OK and I should wear "this" so everybody knows I'm on the job but she doesn't give me anything (or even tell me what it is) and I'm already wearing an Amulet of Dibella (not the sanctified one but a vanilla one); AND 2. Nothing else happens at all. No clients approach, and I do not have any dialog option to ask NPCs if they're looking for some fun. The entire process just dies with the inkeeper's first response. So the bottom line is that in-house solicitation just doesn't work, period. Please, can you tell me what is going wrong and what I can do about it? Thanks- OK I am deliberately double-posting for fear if I just update (edit) my post it will remain buried and nobody will see it. Firstly, thanks Airianna, Karastrazlbob (spelling?) and others who tried to help instead of trolling me for my noobishness. I really appreciate that. Secondly, I fixed everything and I am posting how I did it here for the peeps who said "me too" to my OP: 1. Disabled 1.04a in NMM. This restored (some of) the 0.81b files that were overwritten when I updated. 2. Restored everything from the scripts_backup folder (created by the 1.04a update batch file) back into my Scripts folder. This presumably left my installation exactly as it was before I ever updated from 0.81b to 1.04a. 3. Disabled 0.81b in NMM. 4. Removed 0.81b (DELETED the mod after disabling it) using NMM. This presumably left my Skyrim the way it was before I ever heard of Radiant Prostitution but AFTER I had installed SexLab and Matchmaker. 5. Ran Generate_FNIS_for_Users in the unlikely event that Radiant Prostitution had installed any animation over and above what SexLab did. "Just to be safe, and it can't hurt." 6. Ran BOSS just in case the load order of OTHER mods was affected by the ABSENCE of Radiant Prostitution."Just to be safe, and it can't hurt." The load order didn't change. 7. Started Skyrim normally (I use the SKSE launcher, renamed TESV.exe, via the Steam launcher so I can continue to use Steam for game updates etc.) 8 Held my breath (this was the most important step!), crossed my fingers, eyes and boobs and boldly clicked "Continue" and "Latest Save." 9. Almost fell out of my chair when Skyrim loaded without incident to my last save! I hadn't lost my game! 10. Checked MCM to make sure SexLab was still there, with all my options, and Radiant Prostitution was gone. Yay! 11. Used Matchmaker to have sex with Serana to confirm SexLab and Matchmaker functionality and because I love her. 12. Saved my game 3 times into 3 separate save slots to make sure if I corrupted my latest save I would have 2 more chances before actually losing anything. 13. Quit Skyrim. 14. Activated Radiant Prostitution Tweaked 1.04a in NMM. 15. Ran Generate_FNIS_for_Users and BOSS again. "Just to be safe, and it can't hurt." 16. Crossed everything again (see Step 8), started Skyrim, clicked "Continue- Latest Save." WOOT! Normal load, no saves lost! 17. Went to the nearest inkkeeper, "registered," and the only available option was to walk around and find clients. Proof of truly fresh install. 18. She said "those cloths (sic) are OK but wear these" and I got a notice that she had given me Tavern Clothes and Boots. Woo Hoo! 19. After having sex with everyone several times (12 clients when I checked back in with the Innkeeper), I got the Military Camp option. That worked fine including my first ever threesomes. No glitches at all. 20. Finally, verified that the Radiant Prostitution MCM menu was there (it took about 5 minutes in-game before it registered). Thanks again to those who tried to help. I'm a Happy Hooker now.

I have done (so to speak ) several Military Camps and even though I carefuly made sure I was first to score, she claimed she had won at the end. Lying bitch. I think it's just scripted that she claims to win even though she couldn't possibly have won, so I no longer bother betting with them. I hope the option to solo the camps will be available in the future, because my "co-workers" are useless, go to sleep in an empty tent the minute we get there and then claim they won the bet, and won't even let me "get to know them better.' Hmmm. I wonder if I can just kill her on the way to the camp...
Shinobi7 Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 I have a quick question: I'm using Mod Organizer. Does this mean I won't need to run DeleteLooseFiles.bat (as with MO each mod has its own separate directory which doesn't affect other files) ?
fiewiel Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 If you untick a mod the installed files are completely gone from the virtual /data directory.
nutluck Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 @Vyzenne Very cool you got everything working. This is why I wish they would lock the old thread about the old version of this mod so people don't accidentally load that one instead.

This is why I wish they would lock the old thread about the old version of this mod so people don't accidentally load that one instead. I totally agree, that's EXACTLY what happened to me: I did a search on "Radiant Prostitution" and d/l the first one that popped up... never imagining there would be TWO mods with that name, and that the site admins (if any) would allow both to remain active even though one clearly superceded the other. Of course, I got the wrong one. Also, it's not helpful to respond to a plea for help with "if you had bothered to read blah blah blah" when there is such a confusing and unmoderated situation, so thanks to you and one other in the old thread for trying to help... and pbbbb to the trolls there.

She also gets refused i guess because i saw her talk to soldiers and then going choping wood. Or maybe that`s what the client asked her to do )) (sick perverted bastard)

Works for me inside the tavern and inside town(whiterun). And i don`t use tavern cloths. For your PC or the NPCs ? Sorry i thought you said that no NPCs ask your character for "cream pie". My character gets picked up by clients and i can refuse them or accept them. I didn`t try the necklace on follower to see if it works. In last version it didn`t so i didn`t bother to try it now since there was no mention about that in the change log.
RDKateran Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 I wonder... could the mod be altered so that when you're on a quest with a prostitute coworker, it uses any pre-existing prostitute if there's one available? For example, you get the Military Camp job in Markarth, and instead of a spawned coworker, Hroki joins you. And if none exists, then it spawns a coworker.

If you didn`t have the old versions you don`t need to use the bat file. A clean/full uninstall of the old version and installing the new one works everytime(in theory).

I'm a Happy Hooker now. I am glad you got it all working again And yes, several pages ago, I did mention something about just uninstalling the older version and installing the new version, without overwriting the files, never thought to mention that when I was trying to aid you. About that Werewolf quest, yes, if you fallow the companion quest line in full, he goes to sovernguard, as the last of the quests, and you become Harbinger of the companions... I would put a check in there, so that way you can still complete the quest, by end of the companions quest line, by indeed talking to one of the other "leaders" 2 males and 1 female to choose from, could even have it cycle between the living members. Being sure to remove those that are dead, just in case you are like me, and have it set so ALL essential characters can be killed. (( or talk to self after you kill the wolf and allowed the "leader" to go to sovernguard hehehe )) Just like if you wind up adding anything for the mage guild, you end up becoming the grand mage as well... With the Make Love Not War... Yes I win every time, but she claims she wins, when she doesn't even talk to anyone, I watched her every time, and she goes and cooks, or chops wood, or even sleeps, never talking to anyone, when I was already being sexersized. Also, she doesn't ever have sex with anyone at the camps even after watching her for several hours, and I had already done all my required clients. So indeed that part is bugged, and I won't bother to bet with her again. Or if I do... Player.additem 0000000f 200 will be done, cause I get my 100 and the 100 she owes me. Edit add : More about the hired thugs to come get you... Being that my character is now level 100, with this armor set, and uses Destruction/Restoration magic... They need to have really high health, and damage ratio, with better armor than vanilla can provide... Like how I took out the Ebony Warrior in just under a minute using Vanilla Fireball Spells, even missed several times... LOL
Ragnaroy Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 I still need help by the way. The NPCs are not doing anything mod-related
korialstraszbob Posted March 15, 2014 Author Posted March 15, 2014 I just finished the Companions storyline and the werewolf quest still points to where Kodlak would be sitting the first time you talk to him. Oh yes, that could cause an issue... I hope the target NPC is changed to one of the other members, or that quest will break, as the old guy does not return... In the mean time, use console command help help Kodlak player.placeatme <id of Kodlak> so you can still talk to him for the quest line... Ah. didnt know hew would vanish. Does some quest trigger this? I choose him as he is something like the chief of the companions if remember correctly Yes Kodlak dies in the Companions quest. So you should change that NPC. I would recommend Eorlund Gray-Mane, at Skyforge. He is related to the Companions. Btw i love the idea with the giants quest . I hope you`ll add more of those type of quests Ah ok didnt know that. never completed the companion quest in my 600h playthrough. I have a quick question: I'm using Mod Organizer. The NPCs are not doing anything mod-related Mh. i heard that a couple of times. check the MCM menu if under NPC Event tat NPC Scene is check. This enables the Story Manager node for the random NPC on NPC Dialogs but only if the character in question is sandboxing. Quick exaple i have Cult of Diabella (?) installed with addes NPCs that wear the tavern cloths (traveling sister) and in Falkreth hroki, which got change so she is not flaged as a child, also weares them. The sister gets the prostitute dialogs scene but hroki not. i dont know why i can only explane this by the fact that Hroki does not sandbox in a normal way.
korialstraszbob Posted March 15, 2014 Author Posted March 15, 2014 Double Post ftw. Uploaded new Version. 1.05 adds a new Random Quest and fixed a Dialog Branch on the Stable quest which caused the quest to not end.
ttpt Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Quick exaple i have Cult of Diabella (?) installed with addes NPCs that wear the tavern cloths (traveling sister) and in Falkreth hroki, which got change so she is not flaged as a child, also weares them. The first time ever on a save game when you enter the Silverblood Inn, Skyrim blocks any scenes from playing, this is a vanilla behavior. This includes Hroki and anybody else wearing tavern clothes. If you leave the Inn and come back in everything should work just fine.
RDKateran Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Mh. i heard that a couple of times. check the MCM menu if under NPC Event tat NPC Scene is check. I've noticed that only one prostitute can work in a cell at a time. In Markarth, I can go into the Silver-Blood Inn with a follower wearing tavern clothes, but only Hroki gets clients while my follower does her own thing, not interacting with anyone prostitution-wise. That's something that was in the original mod, too.
Airianna Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 YAY! Thank you for the update... gonna install and try it out now.
