Outfit Studio/Bodyslide 2 CBBE Conversions

I had some limited "success" with just deleting the xml file, which got rid of the crashes and spazzing, but at the cost of the physics.

I tried this with two outfits and in one case everything that didn't bounce in the CBBE body itself was turned static and in the other case the bands still moved, but lost the collision data and thus clipped into the body even when standing still.

In my opinion it's only an option if you desperately need a certain outfit and can live with those problems, but generally it's not worth converting unless you can find someone who can rewrite the .xml file to fit the other body.

Aren't there some physics bones in the NIF as well? These show up as extra bones in the Outfit Studio. I managed to strip the physics from some outfits by removing these bones.

By request. . . LB Clothing CBBE HDT BS NIO-v2  The old body slider for these was so outdated. I reworked the set with HDT BS and cleaned up most of the clippings. The skirts on the long dress were a bitch to weight!! Hope you like them. Give me a thmbs up if this works for you. Enjoy!!

Loving these! ?

I made an SSE conversion of this set and a couple others; if anyone wants and if I can have permission, I can post them in the SSE conversion thread (with credits)

As I understand it, the bounce from bones inside the nif can have certain limits in how far the piece of the body can turn and deform and how strongly it's affected by gravity and momentum, but collision data that prevents the piece from moving inside the body is stored solely in the xml file.

Removing those bones in the nif will result in the pieces becoming static... well not truly static, since they can still deform along with the body (like a sleeve will still bend like the arm inside it for example), but they won't have any bounce or giggle to them. By leaving the bones in, they can potentially still giggle and bounce, but there won't be anything stopping them from clipping into the body if the motion or gravity pulls them there. So you can for example end up with a band hanging from the shoulder that will happily swing through your character's knee when you sneak, or a cloak that's supposed to ly against your back having the butt-cheeck sticking through the material.

Mind you, what little I know is what I glimpsed from other people's conversations and observing the outcomes of some blind experiments, so my assumptions of why these things work (or don't work) like they do could be partially or entirely wrong. I've learned to convert outfits from tutorials and experimentation, but I can't claim to truly understand how those outfits actually work or how they are made.

There are also some problems with working with such HDT enabled bones in the new outfit studio versions which might have some really weird results if you don't know the workarounds.

You dont need my permission for anything. I didnt create the outfits. Any of my conversions are free for anyonje to use however they want. I would like credit for my work but it's not a requirement. Just use and have fun. Oh, and tag the like button is you do.

IMO, unless your creating something for financial gain, anything free is FREE. If you don't want your FREE work used FREELY, keep it to yourself.

Beside most of those outfits are best suited to dance videos on youtube and not dungeon crawling. ?

I'm doing a playthrough as "2B" in Oldrim right now, using TAL's HDT (non-SMP) armor set. Frankly IMO the FPS tanking is worth it just to play as a 2B-lookalike tearing through dungeons like the badass android I am. I would like the ability some day to do it in SE so I have slightly less FPS drop and a few more SE-only mods, but I can live with what I have for now.

Related/unrelated: does CBPC physics support clothing? Has anyone tried it yet, or is it strictly for body physics?

Hey Sorceress, another great conversion! From looking at your sample picture, it looked like you also have that missing hair texture. It's hard to tell so I could be wrong. Did everyone who downloaded this, also have the missing hair texture?

Here's what mine looks like in game.

Honey, I couldn't remotely tell you as I didn't mess with the hair, Just put it on for the photo. You can load up the hair in nifskope and make sure the texture paths are correct.  Pretty easy to do. I usually don't pay any attention to the accessories as they aren't part of a conversion and interchangeable between body styles.. Hats, necklaces, earings, scarfs etc that aren't affected by the weight sliders I dont bother with.

Off topic @Charmandur: what bodyslide setting do you use? Can you share it ?

Thank you Sorceress99 for your works, your love and your kindness. ❤️

Simply Clothes CBBE HDT BS NIO This has been an iiritating conversion to say the least. The meshes simply (apt name) defy bone weighting.  I wanted the pants be so tight and sweet but oh no, had to bloat a few poly's to fix the clipping. Still, the outfits look great as is. Added a pair of shoes (by @Daiemonic) to the mix as the boots don't fit over the pants at all. You've been warned ?. Had to leave them to the shorts. Hope you like! Tick it if you do.

Hi Sorceress

It may be just me, but there doesn't appear to be a high heels sound for the platform heels.

Oh, and some more pickies.

Posted the fix for the heel sounds. The dresses dont appeal to me that much. I saved a model to retexture for my own use. Accessorising makes a big difference. She looks great, CINCSAC! Thanks for the screeshots.

I gotcha. When I think about it, that makes sense. I've pretty much figured it out more or less. Here's the end result, looks absolutely amazing for some cosplay screenshots!

@O_O I'm using the CBBE HDT Body (Curvy) with a custom preset I made for myself. Also using Fair Skin textures, KS Hairdos, Mikan Eyes, I could go on and on but you get the point.

Are you asking me if I could post my preset? Or just all the mods that I use to make my character?

Here's some screenshots of my current character Nanami, with my preset.

She is stunning. Building the right character is time consuming and fustrating but in the end it will all all comes together.  It's a "labor of love". Thank you for sharing her with us.
