Outfit Studio/Bodyslide 2 CBBE Conversions

You could try to do it solely via sliders.

Remove the sliders from the clothing, then play with the sliders until the clipping is gone, then Sliders->Set Baseshape and then conform the sliders again.

If that works you can just screenshot or write down which sliders you changed how much and then apply the same procedure to the other outfits.

DV Intimates I CBBE HDT BS NIO. These are some outfits I ported from FO4. The meshes did not like being converted.  But I was persistent so here we are. There may still be some clipping with the hose that I have spent two days trying to fix. I am not very good with hose. They really take a 3D program to get them to fit right. But hey folks, I do this stuff for me and share it with you. Anyway I like them. Hope you do to! Piece of cake! :cakeslice:

A question about Body Slide / Outfit Studio.

Looking at the Nord Girl outfits, I noticed some minor clipping at high weights and I set out to correct this in OS. So there's 1 sweater in 4 colors but it's the same shape otherwise. What's the fasted way to replicate the fixes made in 1 sweater into the others?

I'm sure I've done that before but for the life of me I can't remember how :frown:

The only way I know to retexure an outfit is to load the fixed (main) .nif in Nifskope and change the textures for each sweater then 'save as' the next outfit   EX retex all the outfit as blue then save as 'blue' then retex blue as red, then save as 'red' rinse and repeat.

Did that, and it works. Thanks!

OT: thank you all modders , but in particular to Sorceress99, for the mods, the efforts, time, passion and love you put in the works. 1000 time thank you, because you deserve it, and saying it often is never enough. <3

[Rant on Heavy Armours]

No one bothers with HA, for several QoL reasons as far as I understand it. But in the end with so exotic, shall we say, designs it would not even make sense to begin with ;P Having them as heavy would break immersion more than those designs being in Skyrim in the first place.

There are some designs out there that are more fit for a semi lore friendly, non immersion breaking but still sexy play through. Like Dark Leere(Depending on which version you choose to use), LuxLucis, WitchPlate, some pieces off Immersive Armours, some pieces off Daedric Reaper and a few others which you can also mix and match to some degree. If you were going for as realistic as possible though, that armour you requested won't do, for various practical reasons including probably catching blades instead of allowing a hit to glance off... And those metallic thigh boots, if I'm seeing correctly in that pic. Unless it's something your PC will wear during an event of some sorts ;)

Interesting coincidence- Earlier I requested for an armour from here to be converted to heavy for the exact same reason. There's not enough of it! Although you'd definitely not call that one proper armour either ;3 It's a body suit. But I just prefer heavy, always did in games, so... Plus if you're using Ordinator it's more than viable!

There's also a really nice set out there somewhere, called Dancing Shadow Rose. Some of the more armoured pieces are cool. Wish that one was heavy with proper armour rating, and a bit less flaring skirts. I'd never wear it in combat IRL but it's just so nice. You know, IMHO.

[/Rant]

PS. There's also that mod with the Medusa and Drakul armour sets, haven't tried it though because they are gender specific and the one I wanted was for males. I don't see why the author made it this way, kind of ruins it. Oh and I don't want that extra dragon that comes with them either.

I don't convert heavy armor because I don't wear it in the game. But I do make some of my conversion heavy when I find something appropriate for the rating. Being able to make changes to your outfits in the game is the main reason most of us learn how to use the tools available like NifSkope, TESedit, the Creation Kit, Outfit Studio/Bodyslide, Blender, etc instead of relying on others to make them for you. I started doing conversions because I got tired of waiting for someone to them or being told to DIY. Most of them are easy to use once you decide to learn the controls and techniques required.  There are still a lot about the ones I use I don't what they do, but I try them out. I explore the possibilities when I need to or for curiosity's sake. WE LEARN BY DOING! You can change the armor rating, body slots (BiPed), characterist of an NPC,  add/remove items, make spells, modify weapos, retexture outfits or create anything your hearts desire with the CK. Nifskope is another multi faceted tools everyone who mods their game need to learn the basics of.

If your the lazy type who doesn't want to be bothered with leaning to use these tools, then you probably won't ever have it your way. Once I made the leap into the fray, I found I rather enjoy doing conversions. My closets, dresser drawers, foot lockers and castles are full of pretty outfits and sexy lingerie and footwear I would not have had any other way. Most of it I have shared with you so you know story. I have put CBBE HDT on the map once again. Seems everyone has taken up the habit. I welcome them.  Viva La CBBE!!

I for one am at the mercy of generous people like yourself that can do these conversions and are willing to share.

It's not that I'm lazy or don't want to learn, but I honestly can not grasp the programs. I have tried on my own, I have tried with videos, and I have tried with help from others. I just can not get it.

I can go pull a hot piece of metal out of my forge and hammer it into a beautiful knife, build and install industrial machinery, or even build custom cabinetry, but I can not figure out these programs.

I have two merges of esp's in my game, and someone else did them both for me because I just couldn't get it figured out. Adding mods is about the peak of my skills even though I have tried to do more.

So I really appreciate what any modder does. Whether I like the particular mod or not, I respect the work that goes into it. If it weren't for you guys, I'd have a really dull and boring game.

There are never enough CBBE versions of things. And I've managed to learn how to do minor edits with Creation Kit, mainly make things upgrade-able and enchantable if the original author didn't. It's actually fun to go get into the system and see how stuff works!

[...]If you're the lazy type[...]

Calling people lazy for not sharing your passion is a fallacy.

I'll be the first to say that your work is appreciated, I have done so on many occasions and you and the rest here have my(Our) thanks. Just try to keep in mind that others may well not have the same mind set about the same things, nor the same priorities, investment, time, motive ETC. For example, I channel the same joy and excitement you have for conversions, into MA. We're all different, we all have things to share, none of us is more or less entitled, talented, capable, worthy and what not for it though. I just don't find it so necessary to learn how to convert especially when someone else who does, can cover my needs without me forcing them or demanding it or otherwise hurting them- The same way I cover the needs of those who want to take advantage of what I know in MA.

And I'm fine with not having it my way, no one here seems to be spoiled. Don't confuse suggestions and requests with arrogance or demands.

As for CBBE HDT, rest assured that it was on the map before, it is its own thing with or without anyone converting anything and never went off the map either. It has enough fans who prefer it over alternatives and enough support, with or without anyone's conversions in particular.

I say all these things without the slightest intent of berating you, with all due respect and appreciation. And I'm glad to see you're so hyped, it's a clear sign that you love what you do- At the same time however it's good to stay grounded, put things into perspective and remain humble at least to a degree where you don't assume people are lazy(Or W/E else one might think) because of priorities, hobbies and choices other than yours.

Keep it cool and keep the cool stuff coming <3

I have taken the time to learn enough outfit studio to convert some Kendo stuff for my own use.  None of the conversions are good enough to put here.  It seems that every time I think I will really get in to doing a publishable conversion, my game becomes unstable, or I get the black face bug, or some other damn skyrim problem - wierd acting NPC's, disappearing followers blah blah blah.  I spend hours or days fixing that, then I just want to play and forget about learning to convert.  I spend more time fixing my game than playing my game.  It's a good thing sorceress, shadow, fakenet and many other talented modders come here.  Otherwise, I would have quit playing a long time ago.  Thanks to all!

Third-ed to the Zero-suit pack. The last time it was converted was back before BBP and for a version I can't find anywhere.
