Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

I was thinking about something that had been discussed several times....   the Master/Mistress following the player.  At first it didn't seem to make much sense, but if the Master/Mistress saw the player as a cash cow, it would make perfect sense.   From the Bandit perspective, there are a couple of lines about buying an Island and another about walking into the city a free man.  How about the player does/is forced to do both?  At first, under tight supervision and via the Indentured Servant quest, the player pays off their bounty...(makes the Master/Mistress a neutral Follower).   Then as a Follower, they can kick back into Master/Mistress mode during certain points in the game.  ie, You go into an inn, they go from Follower to Pimp mode and expect you to make them X amount of cash before you can leave.  Maybe they trade your favors for new weapons, armor, etc when you go into a shop.  Also along these lines was one idea that really intrigued me... being sold to someone else.  After becoming your Follower, maybe your Master/Mistress loses you in a bet (Cragslane Caverns of Faldars Tooth have.... well,  fake gambling at the very least),  or maybe they even have to sell you to pay off the gambling debt.  They sell you to <Insert Random faction> and you're off on your well supervised adventure....  again.

Can i use this with Sexlab Submit + Devious Devices?

Devious Devices is compatible with SD+.

I haven't used Submit in a while. Maybe someone will comment in that.

Saw on the file post that Submit was a recommended mod for "dancing" but I'm worried that submit will override this one.

I have both mods active at the moment, and have only had one small issue that I'm aware of.

What I do is make sure Submit isn't set for auto-submit, meaning it only happens when I sheathe my weapons and press the submit hotkey. SD+ kicks in automatically when my health gets low enough, but submit won't unless I choose it to.

The only issue I had was when I tried to submit to an enemy mage who was using fire spells. She stopped attacking but I was still on fire. That resulted in my health dropping below the SD+ threshold, and providing the enslavement hit, after submit had already initiated. For a few seconds my character was flickering between the submit hog-tie and SD+ kneel positions, before SD+ "won" and I was enslaved. I'm not sure if the outcome was determined by load order or something else, but it didn't seem to do any harm.

Hope that helps  :)

A great mod, but for me it has one very annoying bug (or something). If I kill an enemy and the short animation plays (don't know what it is called) I get teleported to the dreamworld although I still have 100 % health left. Only combat enhancing mod I use is skyre, but it mostly modifies perks, so I don't think that is the cause.

Works great otherwise, keep up the good job!

it's a kill move. If you search this thread for kill move you will find links to a couple of mods that allow you to disable it as a fix until it gets worked out in SD+

Just a note about a possible bug:

I got enslaved by a group of stormcloaks - one of the trios that wander around talking about why they joined the cause (not sure why they were hostile). After a bit they took me to Windhelm prison. Everything went well until I slept at the end of the 2nd day, then, my owner vanished. The quest arrow thing that had been over her head was still there, but she wasn't anywhere to be found. My guess is that those groups respawn or something, and that's where she went. Didn't have much, so I didn't lose much, and I was able to just walk out of the prison and Windhelm (exiting the city itself started the escape timing sequence etc).

Don't know if there's anything that can be done about this, but wanted to make sure it was known.

Thanks.

Better yet, try making a run for it in the middle of the night when you can't see where you are going. Maybe a dragon will attack. It has happened to me, and I like to play with the CoT nights level set to extremely dark. Always fun to get lost in the Eastmarch in the dark. Have fun.

Nono, dragons always attack when my character is just being jumped and humped by an NPC. Including, in one case, a female member of the Winterhold guard - the lady sure knew her priorities: Being incinerated while raping a passerby, what a way to go ;)

Sup! a few questions ^_^

1.Is the second post bug list updated/current?

2.Is this compatible with Prison Overhaul atm? if not what are the issues and possible work arounds?

"

- Add option to manually disable SD temporarily if needed
:: For compatibility with Prison Overhaul for example
"

3. Is there any way ingame or in tes edit to permanently turn sanguine into female?

Thanks for any answers ^_^

It is mostly current. There could be some issues missing and some already fixed that I missed.

It is compatible with only one complication - if you are teleported to Dreamworld while you are in prison, you will be considered as a runaway prisoner with increased bounty. This is not a bug as far as I am concerned - you are missing from your cell and you should be treated as escaped :)

The reason I have that line in the list of bugs is to allow an option to ignore that situation for people who don't want it.

3. Is there any way ingame or in tes edit to permanently turn sanguine into female?

Not yet. And even if there was, the version of Sanguine in SD+ is different than the vanilla version. That means that Sanguine would be female only in this one dreamworld pocket. He would remain male in 'A Night to Remember'.

Thanks for any answers ^_^

I have a question about the idea of Master / Follower.

A while ago, in a different forum thread, someone came up with a good description of relationships between the PC and a master as follower.

It was about being a warrior or just a slave for your master.

Does anyone remember which thread that was?

I thought I bookmarked it but I can't find it anymore and I can't remember who suggested the idea.

Dunno but will be great if instead joinin their faction and your toon adquires her freedom pleasuring the master in a higher level she/he beggin to suffer stockholm syndrome and auto makes the master a permanent follower becuz the atachment she/he developed and just to try to stay a bit away from him or avoid sex make the PC to return to normality and be able to readquire her/his freedom. Maybe even in the worse of the case, your PC receives the mara amulet from Master and auto ask your master to marry XD just saying.

Just started a new game using 1.14 but noticed that after I quit and then started again, when I load a saved game I get a message saying Upgrading to Version 1.12

I have discovered a bug for me.

I get sent to the dream world.  it says dream healing.  Sanguine places you under his thumb - a number is shown then the scene repeats a few seconds later, this time with the number increased by one.  It seems to be in a loop.

Any suggestions?

Question for Sanguine's fans.

I have been using the Honneybrew Meadery as a safe landing spot out of Dreamworld, mostly because it is usually quiet (not a lot of NPCs), central to Skyrim and it is related to drunken stupor :)

It was always a temporary choice in my mind though.

Do you have any ideas for a more appropriate safe harbor sanguine could send you to?

It has to meet the following criteria:

- usually quiet and safe

- indoors (for easy loading)

- related to Sanguine-friendly Daedra or related to partying, drinks and overall debauchery

It could be an inn, a farm, a ruin or even someone's house. I am willing to add some customizations if necessary (remnants of recent parties).

Thoughts?

Honneybrew Meadery is a difficult place, but not to difficult.  LADF puts a 5000 bounty on the PCs head in each hold, so when my PC lands at the meadery she has to sneak out and up the mountain before a roving guard sees her.  Keep this in mind for any future "safe" spots.  There are a couple Inns that are in remote locations (no guards around) and also a couple dens (the skooma den near Riften - can't remember the name).  That den is also a great place to sell a PC slave ... I hate Mistwatch!

I'm having a problem where the game crashes whenever I ask my owner for food, drink or clothes.

Second issue is that when I'm captured by Thugs and sent to Mistwatch and at nighttime, the "you must go to your cage" dialogue keeps showing up even if I'm in the cage and my owner just keeps opening and closing the cage door.

I think the Solitude Catacombs could be an interesting choice.  Not exactly safe... but there are only 3 run-of-the-mill skeletons.  Which you do not have to fight all at once.  It is also very close to the southern stairwell exit of Solitude.   I just think it has atmosphere and to my knowledge could be modified without conflict.

This might be a slightly boring suggestion for a place Sanguine could send you, but I thought of the Mixwater Mill Worker's House.

It's empty of NPCs and contains a few beds and (if memory serves) lots of bottles of mead scattered all over the floor. I made my own vampire cattle NPC once and put her in there so I could pop in for a feed every now and then when I played vampires a lot.

Like I said, maybe a bit boring, but beds and booze strike me as very Sanguine. I think there's a chance of a dragon attack outside, and it might also be the location for one of Aela's radiant Companions quests, but otherwise it's just an empty house no one but the player would ever use, so could be customised to your heart's content.

I got a small suggestion aswell on the mod's installation requirements part. Since the original SD stopped, might it be possible to clean up the installation requirements text without linking back to SD1?

It would just look cleaner and have a better overview and all.  :P

Just read the post that Ms.Diddler kindly re-found, and wow :)

I have been thinking about looking into some mods that expand magic - specifically restoration - a bit so that I could try being a healer/buffer in melee to my warrior owners. Looks like "Pet Mage" will work with the warrior branch quiet smoothly.

It did get me wondering though, since I know no modding stuff, would it be possible to "block" parts of the player's inventory so that items of that sort couldn't be kept? I was thinking of the slave alchemist, allowed to keep gathered ingredients and potions, but not weapons of any kind, or things along those lines. The more I think about this, of course, the more likely it seems to be really complicated and not worth it, but I thought I'd put it up anyway, just in case I'm mistaken, or that it gives someone a spark.

Anyway, main point is, this looks really fun. :)
