Lyman the Lunatic Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 So it seems the mod hates spellcasting NPCs because it took forever, stuck in kill cams, a couple of deaths & loads of error debug until the enslavement kicks in. It is funny that all this happens when there's only 1 other NPC in the entire cell. What took the script so long to figure that out? Also, my char can't "Run" away because you made it so that she can only walk. What's with the electric aura around her? Because I don't know what it is, so I decided to use that as weapons. Since I got Skyrim Monster mod on, it is impossible to go outside without getting attacked, so all I did was making her walk towards every single critters because she can't die anyway. Oh I try this on while using an Epic Elf char. Just made her because I want to see can SD+ handles custom races. I remembered back when SD can't handle them at all, or even non caucasian races. Man that was ancient history! So I was testing with my Epic Elf char. I was wondering, since I see you've put some of the features from Mind Control mod into SD+, so will my char. able to marry her master if she joined her faction? Oh I test her on Drelas, that dunmer in Whiterun world.EDIT I later found out that you can marry your master, you even get your master as a follower. You just need to be careful that the NPC isn't hostile or they'll go on a rampage the moment you dismiss them, it was kind of funny seeing Drelas went on a rampage inside the temple of Mara while my char. stuck in place.
jfraser Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Character was just attacked by an ice sabre cat and "ripe for enslavement", only that the follower killed the cat. Now character is sitting there with zero health and nothing is happening. What should I do to get "unstuck" in "ripe for enslavement" mode? Drinking a healing potion usually fixed that for me.

Thoughts? The quest is broken in this mod, it's not interference from another. A problem in the script causes the busy loop to occur whenever your character sprints or engages in combat. The piece of script which does this is designed to prevent certain events like forced masturbation from triggering at potentially game breaking points, but instead practically prevents them from triggering at all.

Thoughts? The quest is broken in this mod, it's not interference from another. A problem in the script causes the busy loop to occur whenever your character sprints or engages in combat. The piece of script which does this is designed to prevent certain events like forced masturbation from triggering at potentially game breaking points, but instead practically prevents them from triggering at all. And that will be the target of my next fix. Any detail you can provide about where I can start looking (what script, function, etc) would be greatly appreciated as it will save me time The problem is in _SDQS_sprigganslave. If loops with the condition !( kRef2 as Actor ).GetCurrentScene() && !( kRef2 as Actor ).IsInCombat() && !( kRef2 as Actor ).GetDialogueTarget() seem to be the problem. A while ago I fixed this in my game by cutting out the conditions and making the loops run all the time, but I've since lost the file and I don't even remember how I found the scripts, I guess they used to be loose? You can find my original posts about the problem on page 27 of this thread.

You can find my original posts about the problem on page 27 of this thread. This test just prevents spriggan 'flares' if the player is engaged in a scene, in combat or in a dialogue. On the surface, not a problem. The only thing I can think of is the 'scene' part of the test. If for some reason, the player is engaged in a scene that was never ended properly, that test will prevent the flares from ever happening. I will have to track down Spriggan scenes the same way I did with the enslavement scenes and see if there are situations when a scene never ends.

There's hired thugs after my character, but when the health is down to zero, they make no attempt at enslaving her, they stand and wait until she has some health again and then attack her again. Even manually surrendering won't help. The reason might involve that on the Status Page, while the Quest "Enslaved!" is not listed as active, under "Update Status", "Is the player enslaved?" is checked. Also, "Safe Word" is not greyed out, but cannot be checked either. Any ideas? Could someone help me with this? It really breaks the game to be constantly pursued by thugs you can't submit to...
Guest Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 IIRC removing the scene requirement is not sufficient. Something about the way the stuff inside the loop works (else condition?) Breaks it. You can try it yourself; combat causes the problem without any scenes.

Then, when i am being marched to mistwatch, sometimes owner teleports (wtf) ando so, i get my chance to escape. Obviously, other thugs start attacking me.If i manage to reach mistwatch, once he gave me to the next owner, he starts attacking me, and doesnt go away. Also, he is set to essential, and thus cant be killed.what is happening? How to fix?

He did.. kind of.. he was randomly playing different animations from the intro.. until that happened.. I think there are still some idle-markers (or something like that,no idea) from the intro scattered around helgen. I went there before the bandits spawn in helgen, so i'm not sure if they get removed later. I wonder, what would happen, if you told your follower to relax there.. (via UFO etc) Maybe these mods prevent that somehow? Would be interesting to test that. Unfortunately i'm not using any follower-mods atm. (don't like playing with followers) It might be even possible, that the player uses these markers with "dovakiin relaxes too".. have to try that sometime xD (edit: ok.. that doesn't work ) If there is a method to prevent the use of these idles, this could maybe also be implemented in SD+. I have to admit, it was funny though..

To reset any npc that is not responding in an expected manner, Open the Command Console " ~ " , Click on the NPC so their ID is shown, type disable (Hit enter) , Then type enable (Hit enter) Close the Console. The NPC should disappear and then once console is closed re-appear.
MallaVelve Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I finally got through the spriggan quest, however there are still issues I experienced. The Spriggan Husk is hanging in the air 15' off the ground in the Tower. I had killed the Spriggan Earth Mother in that tower Prior to becoming a Flowering Spriggan, and when I went to complete the Life-cycle there were no spriggans there. (space seems too small for more than one or two anyway) I got the animation of striping my armor and the host was removed. I had to supper jump to get to the husk to get my stuff back. When I got my stuff back, the Smithed and Enchanted weapons I was using, Dual Wielding, at the time of infection/violation/transformation were gone. (not easy to find Black soul gems, without cheating, so that kinda hurt a bit) Nothing seemed to happen for a while so I toggled wait menu for 8 hrs and got message; The Spriggans release you. (Quest complete) I have also lost one of two Smithed/Enchanted weapon when getting enslaved by bandits and killed the Owner and got my stuff back. Found one weapon on the ground. The other was no where to be found. Might be an issue with Dual Wielding and SD+.?

The sites you are sent to are, I think, selected randomly from the vanilla spriggan sites. I had similar issues with the husk the one time I was sent there. As for the weapons disappearing: I have noticed this too, but wasn't sure it was SD+. I have noticed that it is always a right-hand/main-hand weapon that disappears (dual-wielding the other is "on the ground" at the site of capture) I've had it happen to PC-forged weapons, and others, enchanted or not. I have no mods that should do that (defeat has an option that could, but i have checked and re-checked to make sure that it isn't set to do so). Off-hand weapons or shields are never lost this way, but, I have lost a bow this way. It's been a while since I used two-handed melee weapons, so I am unsure about them. I am still not entirely sure that it is SD doing it, but, since you brought it up here, I thought I should confirm the "bug" whatever its source and maybe someone will be able to figure it out.
