Until extremely recently, I just hit "Print Screen," and an image was saved in bitmap format in my Data file-- it didn't save them onto my clipboard (or, if it did, I never knew about it).  I believe that that's also the location that Steam uses when you want to upload screen shots.  That's still what's going on; only, now, I can't view the images, anymore.

 

I already have a program called ReaJPEG that I used for converting the bitmap files to jpeg when I uploaded them here or wanted to keep them around.

That's another reason I prefer solutions like FRAPS. 

They sit outside of the game, so they are not likely to stop working when a mod changes something.

 

On another note, development of SD/Dialogues is on the back burner right now.. I am wandering around Skyrim testing the Dibella quest for bug fixes and chapter 2, and fixing issues in other mods like the Milk Farm in Stories, Alicia's behavior or right now, the Gender change / Bimbo option in Hormones.

 

I will get back to SD as soon as my character gets enslaved during testing.

Been having fun with this mod, when it works it's wonderful. When it breaks it's hilarious.

 

My character got enslaved by a vampire, and was promptly killed by said vampire during the initial punishment scene. Woke up in the Dreamland where chaos ensued. Firstly, there was a random frost atronach spawned there for some reason. Sanguine was busy killing that when the mod decided my new master still needed to punish me. 

 

So while the messages about my being freed from my former master were appearing on the screen, the vampire was magically teleported to the dreamworld. Promptly killed my character via punishment yet again.

 

(Note to self: don't get enslaved on legendary difficulty.)

 

Fade to a black screen. Messages about being a slave again. Switching randomly between the "you contemplate your punishment" pose on a post and the vampire who was made my master again (somehow) sexing my character up.

 

So Sanguine now has a vampire drinking buddy.

 

(Well he did, until I eventually reloaded an earlier save.)

On another note: is there any way to include a "reset" button for your Master's AI? I don't mean for the slavery stuff I mean for the wandering package or whatever AI you're assigning them. I understand you're working with Skyrim's vanilla AI system, but I can't count the number of times it's just broken. Sometimes they'll just stand there spamming their dialogue lines endlessly, and the pathing is painful.

 

I've had my character enslaved like seven times now and only made it to a destination once.

 

Anyway, I know that's mostly vanilla mechanics which is not something you can fix, but if there was a button that removed the package and re-applied it or something it might help. Dunno if that's at all doable.

Is the Dibella quest in an advanced enough state of development to be pretty stable?  I'm careful about adding much to my plate, since I didn't want to affect the stability of this mod too much.  If work is not going to continue on this for a while, though, I may try something else... but, I'm not an EXTREME risk-taker, since I hate when things in my game start getting weird and I'm not even sure why.

 

Checking the requirements earlier, I was a little confused by the one dress that comes only in a UNP version, while everything else is designed for CBBE.  While I could ask this separately in that thread, as long as I'm talking, I thought I'd just add it here.  I seem to have caught the flu or something (the way I'm floating around, and sleeping 90% of the time, it SEEMS like flu) from my brother's new step-daughter.  I feel so weird, I might get lost if I leave this page.

Little late for the screenshot party, but IrfanView might also be a good option. I have used it for games that had otherwise silly or heavy screenshot system. Tool is light and supports directly 20 formats, varying from RAW, PNG, GIF, JPG etc. It is worth to try, if other tools do not feel comfortable. Setting the hotkey(s) can be done from Options > Capture\Screenshot...

I had been intentionally avoiding flowering spriggan quest, because one of the earlier version gave me serious problems with it. I just accidentially stumbled on one of these poor souls, who managed to enslave my character. I thought "what the heck" and proceeded with the quest.

I did not experience any problems this time. In fact, the whole thing went quite smooth. It was actually quite fun.

Nice to know that this feature is working now. It may have been working for a long time, but I just didn't happen to test it, after my previous experiences.

Thanks. My new character(s) will be "happy" to go trough this quest.

Collar reacts really fast to load door. This is sometimes problematic, if owner happens to walk trough a load door and my character - trying her best to keep up with the owner - gets punished from "running away."

I don't know how doable it is from technical point of view, but is it possible to add a small delay, so that characters have time to get trough load doors? I suspect that owner currently just reacts to that slave is no longer in the same space, but this makes it a bit hard to follow and raise disposition with characters having routines.

I am still working on improving door detection.

 

The Trust Pool system was an attempt at fixing that, but it only works when your master's trust is positive.

 

I have to find a solution when it is negative (which is mostly the case in early stages of enslavement).

This usually means SD was started next to many other mods all at once.

 

Try reinstalling it.. or at least, reinstalling DA first and then SD.

 

You may have to go back to a save game before SD was started if problems persist.

Regarding FRAPS.

 

Keep in mind that by default FRAPS starts recording video with the key F9, wich in skyrim is QuickLoad. So you might end up with a loooooot of space being wasted by recorded gameplay you dont even know it exists.   

Simply disable that feature in FRAPS, or change the key.

I wanted to try mods that were on this mod's recommended list.  I tried Simple Slavery, but ran into major problems, probably a conflict somewhere, and just uninstalled it.  Since I'm still having the problem, that mod probably isn't the culprit.  I was using the Cages and Skooma Whore mods back when everything was working, so, I can probably exclude those, as well.  The only mod on the list that I added since things last worked and didn't deactivate and delete is Slavegirls. 

 

I just thought I'd mention it, in case it helps lead to the solution.  If it doesn't, well, sorry for taking up your time.

slavegirls i found issues with a while back for having some slaves marked to delete so i quit using it after i'd already switched to the oldest version there was hoping/thinking that issue didn't exist yet and skooma whore caused cursed loot to lag the scripts of a gas trap so i uninstalled it as well, i'm using the latest xpmse2 with the new skse 1.07.2

I had an amusing adventure last night. My player, traveling with Lydia, was thoroughly whacked by some bandits in the south east of Skyrim. Lydia was properly dismissed, and I was sold via Simple Slavery to an Imperial soldier who proceeded to march me north saying and doing the usual rude things. Another character met him in another playthrough when he died during an encounter with a Stormcloak camp. My imperial did not want to deal with the dragon, but the dragon wanted to deal with my character very badly. The owner kept trying to run away, but kept popping back into range, while I dodged behind rocks and trees. We spoke to the owner during one of the uninjured dragon's fly arounds. He decided that this would be a good time to rape my player.  At this point, Lydia showed up walking back to Whiterun. She told him to stop what he was doing and started pounding on him. The dragon blasted us all a few times and the owner died with Lydia pounding on him and the dragon flaming him. I got a kick out of Lydia shouting "Stop that!" and whacking him. Unfortunately, just as I got my headache, the game crashed, and I've been unable to reload the two saves that lead up to the encounter.

I haven't had any problems with slavegirls or simple slavery, but I have had issues with Cages. Perhaps because it hasn't been updated when sd has (that I'm aware of)? Or, as with anything doing with mods, it could have been singe other untraceable conflict.

I made the mistake of attempting to update to those new versions in hopes of improving some performance.  Both caused FNIS to refuse to update.  Installing the new skeleton was reversible; but, after installing the new version of SKSE, the game was hopelessly fucked.  So, I have to tear it down to the bedrock and start over from scratch.  GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! The way that I'm feeling, I'm not sure that I can do that without screwing the whole thing up.  I'll probably have to wait until I get a little better.

not sure why you'd want to, but if you upgraded your skse without wanting to or before you were ready, you could dl the zip format of the file and then unzipping the contents and deleting the contents from your skyrim directory will uninstall the installed version, then reinstall the older version you had

The patron saint of computer idiots must have waved his holy keyboard over me or something.  When I came back to this, I decided to try restarting my computer and running FNIS before running anything else.  That got it to work.  It also caused my keyboard to cease functioning, and, when I tried to restart my PC, I got the blue screen of death.... but, after THAT, when I restarted, everything began working alright, again.

 

I have very little understanding of this magic voodoo box; it does crap for reasons I can't begin to imagine.  As far as I'm concerned, it may as well actually be the province of gremlins and saints.
