Hey!

I'm at the very end (or almost, I guess) of the Embassy quest line, it's my last "interaction" with Elenwen in her chambers after that dinner party (which by the way I would love to a moment to save after that party, there's a lot of waiting around when you have to repeat that scene many times due to crashes :(), and after Elenwen is done putting all devices back on me and attempts to have her last way with my character, my game crashes.

 

I'll attach a screen of the error message just to make sure I get it right:

... and the Papyrus log for that specific session (basically me loading the game, going through dinner, and then at her chambers):

It's happened twice in a row now, 2 out of 2. Gonna try a third time:

The first time it happened I had the Devious Integration set to not filter animations and such to have more variety in Sexlab scenes with devices on. The second time it happened I re-enabled all those things to have it the way Integration has it by default.

The crash happens at the second where you see in the top left corner of the screen the name of the animation to be played, which is usually an animation that has to be filtered due to devices.

 

If the third time also fails, and nobody has a clue as to why this is happening, is there any way I can just skip this scene via console commands or something? (the Elenwen at her Chambers scene).

Edit: Happened the third time as well :( 3 out of 3. There doesn't seem to be a way for me to get past this point :(

Okay no problem. Figured Id give you the feedback in case you wanted to look into it anyway. Not really sure what caused the problem other than like I said before, I installed only the patch to the latest version and not the whole mod because I didnt pay attention. After restarting my game again from scratch though it seems to be working. I started the alternative start to start as a slave and skip the adventuring around so I could just go to the store to see if things worked. Saw there was an option now where you pick if you work off your freedom or just start a slave. So I started apparently in the mine, now Im off to deliver some stuff at the opposite end of the map~ everything seems to be working fine so far. Actually Ive never seen the captured dreams establishment built up this far before I guess thats necessary for this particular start. Seems interesting so far so interested to see how I earn back my characters freedom.

 

Great work on the mod so far, theres a surprising amount of content and depth in my experience with it.

That is SexLab crashing things. There is an option in Integration's MCM menu to remove armbinders during sex, you may want to try using that (don't remember what it is called though).

Only other thing to try is during the second sex scene before you get trussed up is to advance the quest stage by 10.

 

 

When i download update v4.08 the file is corrupted, it is not my internet connection

 

If the file on LL was bad then no one would have been able to use it. Make sure you have the latest version of 7Zip as the file it highly compressed.

For the cage ending of property slave where is the bag containing my gear? The letter mentions "nearby".

 

Usually isn't too far from where you are but there are several locations where you could be dropped off at. Look for a sack or pack nearby or use tfc and look for a chest underground then retrieve it from that.

The dawnguard quest (Impatience of a saint) can cause this runtime error i used to get it all the time.Either finish the quest or add this to a bat and see if it helps it worked for me.

Well just now after I manually updated the runtime files from the Microsoft website, now when the game reaches that stage of the scene when Elenwen is about to start the act, the game just closes itself down, no runtime error :(.

 

@Veladarius: How can I go about doing that for the quest stage? what's the command I should type it, and maybe equally as important, when should I trigger the command?

Thanks in advance. I'm completely at a loss here :(.

Whenever I try talking to master she just says the "... talk to me if you have any questions" and no dialogue box opens up. This is also preventing me from buying anything from any of the girls because they just say "talk to master first". Can someone help me out?

Hi, first off: great mod!

But I do have to report a problem, atleast I think it is a problem. I am at the Thalmor embassy, as a quest, not a punishment, if that makes any difference and the harness won't come off - and neither will the armbinder - which makes for very weird sex scenes as the guard's entertainment. It just bothers me alot. 

 

Is the harness not supposed to come off? Because I think it is when Elenwen talks to me the very first time or atleast before she sexes me (which also looked weird).

Hi, a few problems happend after update from 4.7 to the newest one. The skin on the head from the captured dreams people (Master, Slaves, Guards...) got pale and doesn't match to the body skin. All CD Devices got purple and the Master can't equipp belts.

I had only just reinstalled CD to see how it works out and the main problem is that devices don't seem to fit properly on NPC. I'm sure I have done something wrong

using Bodyslide but I'm kinda afraid to ask on the DDA threads now...

Running into an infinite loop with this dialogue.

 

Or at least it seems so because when this started I went out to lunch and it was still going when I got back.

This happens when the CD courier is on her way to deliver a message. When the message is delivered everything should work again.

Sorry, for some reason, v 4.05 will not install with NMM, It crashes while unpacking at 50 percent.  I am updating my mods for a new play thru, I had version 3.84 installed, and it reinstalls fine.

if they were attached as part of the quest, you need the key or finish the quest to get them removed.  Once you put on a devious device, you can not remove it without the key if it is locked.

update your zazanimations with the patch to 6.11 and they will work again.

During the special Embassy quest, when the guards chain me up for cleaning, nothing advances after that unless I zoom into first person.

 

After this scene, the same happened when I was treating the guards while chained up when the woman(Aivus or something?) walks in. I can't zoom into first person this time so until I find a fix for this I cannot progress this quest line.

 

Any assistance?

if they were attached as part of the quest, you need the key or finish the quest to get them removed.  Once you put on a devious device, you can not remove it without the key if it is locked.

 

not quite, heres how:

use player.inv in the console - this will list out everything on you and equipped to you. 

the items you want to remove have an item id but no name. simply use the player.removeitem command to get rid of them, and then unequip the offending devices as normal. toss them out or sell them or whatever.

there is one item that will not go away - thats a tracking / quest controll token. you know it when it doesn't go away after a player.removeitem.

Yes thanks, I since found that after trying batch builds on many different body styles in bodyslide, the only body that seems to work right on both player and npc is the sevenbase one. The devious corner sliders are useful for fine-tuning any clipping in racemenu.

 

note: The cd shop makes a good testing ground when comparing player body in full restraints with those of the npc's.

I  had the pc looking right but there was always clipping on the npc bodies in the shop until I used 7B body.

Sorry I have not been around, the holidays have been difficult especially since my birthday is between Christmas and New Year's Eve. At the memorial gathering for my mother at her house the house was full of people and while it was a sad occasion the mood was festive as we all remembered her. Christmas on the other hand was hard. Usually she hosted Christmas dinner and the house was full of people where this year it was empty and quiet, it showed just how much she brought everyone together. It drained a lot out of me but I am trying to get things under control.

 

 

 

I am working on the mod still. I am in the process of updating the quest devices to use the zad_questitem keyword and have updated the major scripts that would need to use the new removal command but I still have to track down other scripts that use it. I will try to address the issues people have posted about but here is some info on fixing some situations:

 

1- The endless loop when equipping quest items - This is an issue with the quest device equip script and is caused by two things 1- the Material Preference must match the belt type - Metal for the padded types and leather / ebonite for the harness and 2- the equip script moves too fast (that's a rare problem). If the material is set to Metal and the preferred belt to harness it will equip the collar before the harness even though the harness is set to be equipped before it. There are checks to keep it from equipping the collar if the harness is there but it is equipped too fast.

 

2- Quest devices not being removed after a quest - use the MCM option to remove them

 

 

I am testing quests to make sure that quest device removal is working properly. I already changed the few spots that used the blockgeneric conditions in scenes and dialogue and added the questdevice keyword.

Seems like the material for piercings is throwing a spanner in the works in the case for #1.

Seems like the material for piercings is throwing a spanner in the works in the case for #1.

 

 

I am guessing it is the chastity piercings? They should be removed like any normal belt but I will check over it.
