Can i remove them with the item-ID and a consol command? the console commands you are going to need: player.inv - this shows the player's inventory, including items not visible in the in game inventory. player.removeitem **insert item id** - to remove the item from your inventory. use player.inv. scroll through the list untill you find an item with an item id but bo name. this is one of the actuial devices. use player.removeitem on said unnamed item. repeat untill all but one unnamed items are gone. there is one that will stick around, its item id will end in 40F0C. ignore this one, its cannot be removed and is NOT a device. exit the console unequip all of the devices as normal.
Sarfin Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 You will need to remove it manually then: Open the console and use showinventory on your character Look for items with no name (ignore the one with the id ending in 40f0c as it is the device hider) use removeitem <id> to remove the item with no name go back into the normal inventory screen and unequip it Since this is a belt the quest that controls them will not have ended properly, get a basic belt, equip it and unlock it normally. jigwigigx Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I have now attached a screenshot of my character, made with "showinventory" and the items which i cannot remove. Step by step what was happen: 1. I was doing the first Thalmor Quest (the Party) and doing some other stuff after. I had no other bondage stuff in my inventory, i was careful this time have nothing with me. 2. The Courier was coming and giving me a note from master to visit her. 3. She was sending me to the Thalmor resident again, my character was "against it" she asked me if i was the one who crashed her party, i wasn't (i think) but it seems to be irrelevant. 4. I was send to the resident with a harness, gag and blindfold, and was there for the night, hanging from the ceiling. The harness was replaced by the cuffs and collar. 5. After the night was spend, i was unbound and send back to the Master. 6. At the Masters house, i was hanging again. Master told me that "this was hopefully a lesson to me" and leave me as i was. Not remove the blindfold, nor the gag. Not the cuffs or the collar. 7. I was going to Master, ask her to remove my items. She agree and then i get the message Gag, Blindfold, Cuffs and Collar removed. But Cuffs and Collar are still on my body. Remove the items via player.remove items - not possible. Click on remove quest items - Nothing happen Remove Itemlist - Nothing happen. Maybe someone knows how to help me out of this. Cheers Sarfin Here's how to do it but I must warn you, once you know this it can spoil the fun: using your screenshot for reference, when ingame with command console open, hover mouse cursor over 'equipments' at the bottom of your list (see screenshot) and press the shift key. This will bring up a list of currently equipped items and their reference form id's. You can then use these to remove the restraints in the console, e.g. player.removeitem whatever 1 This will remove the restraint but it will still be marked as worn in your inventory and you just click once on it to remove the arrow.

The guards are cleaning but nothing else. ist the quest broken or only my Skyrim? embasy quest can be a tad touchy at time. form what i understand, it is being worked on. try disabling your player controlls via the MCM, see if that makes a difference? else try waiting an hour? edit: I noticed somthing from the mod author a few posts up thay may or may not also help: "...because this is a belt the quest that controls them will not have ended properly. equip and unlock a normal belt to fix it." use the console to get a regular belt and key (anything without CD in the name should work), equip, unlock with key, remove from inventory. you can use the following commands in the console to do so: 'help "belt" 4' will pull up a list of all items in the game with the word 'belt' in their name. pageup and pagedown will scroll if you need to. change whatever is between the "" to search for other things. player.additem and player.removeitem as usual.

Sarfin Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Hmmm seems i run into the next bug. The Quest with the Jarl of Solitude will not trigger. I have the first meeting with her, until she says "come back at 9 pm to me". At 6 pm i already recieve the message "go back to the Jarl and start the session". But no questmarker over her head. At 6 she comes in her room, but the only dialog options are the regulare ones. Try the same at 9 pm, same dialog option, but the story will not continue. Any idea?

But yes happen to me sometimes as well.

DonQuiWho Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Has anyone else found that when Herran takes your PC to the Thalmor Embassy party, when doing the Master a personal favour, the Thalmor in the courtyard immediately start a fight and kick 7 bells out of them? (And with Defeat installed too, there is a following mass party too, but that's another issue). And, if so, has anyone managed to work out why this happens and how to stop it? FWIW, as background, the PC is lvl 50+, the Imperials/Thalmor gained control of the Reach at the 'Let's defeat Alduin Conference', and my PC has not yet taken sides in the Civil War.
bicobus Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Hey im sorry for spamming the thread but im half way through the embassy quest/punishment and im literally stuck so unless i load back to pre-quest i have to try and find a way to finish this... I get past the guards "cleaning" and putting on the maid outfit, then elwenn talks to me and says to please the guards blah blah, but when she's done talking the scene doesnt advance. I tried re-disabling, re-enabling, re-setting, moving around and resetting, i tried reloading all the way back to the night in the cell and trying it again. Do i just have to keep loading hoping it'll work or is there something i can do? thanks Wait normally for a bit so that the different actors get in the room. It may takes some time for the NPC to get there, so sit back and relax.

For some reason i can not get the Fomod in this mod version 4.05 to work with NMM 56.1. this is the version of NMM just before profiles were added, you know one the that is stable and works. LOL Anyway, if anyone has any ideas to help let me know. I already tried reinstalling NMM, and redownloading this mod.

The other night is a discussion about the previous night and seeing if you can figure out what she likes about all of it. I use the same version so there are a lot of newer mods that I have to break up into just the parts I need and make a zip file to install it with. Updated quest device removal script seems to be working properly though I had to add CD keywords to a lot of items. The keywords may be the issue with Master not speaking with the player in some instances as only a few items had the keyword and having an item with it on blocked her dialogue. I am making some progress but still have a ways to go.
someoneguy Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 hey just a question about equipping CD/DD items. i can get all the items to equip and have their desired effect occur, but some items don't physically appear on my toon, like...the gags, blindfolds appear but say..the tight boots/hobble dress shows equiped but doesn't appear. Is this a DD problem or do those items just not appear? or is something else wrong..thanks

It's a common mistake, you must build them in Bodyslide before as mentioned on the DD download pages. (If you don't know how Bodyslide works : here is a tutorial )

When it does it send all of the information to CDxCustomerAssist02. - CDxCustomerAssist02 contains the scripts for the rest of the quest and a set of aliases. It also has the start and end dialogue - CDxCustomerAssist02_Slave or CDxCustomerAssist02_Master has all of the dialogue based on what position you play - CDxSceneSet_VIPHouse has all of the scene segments used by all of the different variations of the quest All of these have aliases that are filled when the quest is set up when they arrive which can't be done manually. The last version I added some checks to make sure that the guest had not left to the initial offer dialogue, I will do some testing to see if I can find any issues with the initial offering of the quest.

Its only after i return from the business with elisif, which went spotless, ive tested this much, so we can be sure of that. So whenever a scene starts, be it a punishment or a scene from a different mod, i lose control of the character ( i cant restore through the mod manager, plus the load save option is greyed out) and the character starts walking away(she stops in solitude and starts walking in circles there), but nothing i can do. Do you have a solution for this? Sorry if this was asked already( i think the guy with the bad english has the same problem) P.s after updating the whole devious devices family e.g. intergration expansion and assets i somehow cant see chastity belts anymore (the functionality isnt broken), they wont show on the character. Maybe you know something about it, but its something im going to ask there aswell.
