it seems like rezipping doesn't work, it still gives me the same error, from what i gather this usually means NMM doesn't like something in the fomod xml. Like maybe new NMM-s are fine with this xml and mod organizer but not the older version? I don't know at this point what would work.

EDIT2:

Funny thing is with 7z it reaches like 35% before failing to install, with rar and zip it instantly tells me the there is a problem.

 

If you do 'upgrade' nmm, I'd seriously consider moving all your mods files somewhere safe and do a fresh install of NMM and Skyrim.  Install Skyrim, the new NMM, and then reinstall the mods. 

When I bit the bullet and did this, not only fewer CTDs, but also 20+ more FPS :).  So there are side benefits from going fresh.

 

BTW with the new NMM, don't cut and paste mods directly into the mod dir, you'll always want to add to the mod list via NMM's '+' button and let it copy it. NMM seems to do some background stuff when doing so, and it's needed.

Also NMM has a good queue system, so can have many mods (just be careful of your install order) queued up waiting install.  Then just leave it running for an hour heh.

QUESTION (possible bug): So I played the entire embassy quest (was sent there as punishment).

 

​When I got to the evening dinner part, none of the dialogue options allowed me to back chat or misbehave in any way, all I could do is basically say nice things to Elenwen and her guests.

 

Basically every outcome is the same, she always tells the player that she has been "well behaved" and that she is "surprised".  The old CD had options for caller Elenwen a bitch amongst other abusive things.

 

​Is this by design or is it a dialogue bug?

I think possible PC responses are governed by your traits now - if the PC is set to be submissive, only moderate/sub responses appear. If PC is full sub, only sub dialogue will appear.

Hey everyone!  I've looked and looked but I'm not seeing a solution to the problem I'm having.  Any help (Or point to to the solution if one is already posted) will be awesome!

 

When I get sent to the Thalamor (spelling...) mansion as a party favor a second time I get through the event OK but when I get taken back to the shop the event starts over like it didn't just happen.  I've cleaned my save files, uninstalled and re installed the mods and I'm 99% sure I have all the required mods since everything has been working great until this point.

 

 

Any ideas?

Not so. My rebellious dominant character also had the same positive remarks only during the dinner party.

 

 

Conditions were changed somewhat on the quest. If you go voluntarily it should only show the 'nice' dialogue, if you go as a punishment it would show all of the choices. The reason for the restriction on the voluntary version is that the primary factor for letting you go is being fully submissive (3 or less) and having one of several traits that would have made the trip something you should have wanted.

Make sure you have updated to the latest version, this was a bug that was fixed in 4.02 or 4.03 I believe.

Any reason the NPCs would stand around during punishment instead of whipping the PC? I had a problem with Slaverun Reloaded's scenes getting hung up as well.

 

It doesn't realize it has drawn the whip. Here is how to I get it to advance when stuck:

 

ShowInventory on the npc, note the whip or crop ID number (ends in 6001 or 6004 I believe)

Whichever one they have, use equipitem and have them equip the other one, it usually snaps them out of it.

Hi all, I'm also getting "lookup failed" issues with the latest version...what is this "unlocalized .esp" that everyone is talking of?  I don't see it in the install folders?

Problem is my rebellious dom got sent as a punishment and got nice dialogues during the dinner even when I took care to insult Elenwen at every turn.

OK, did that, now when I go to the mod config menu nothing populates for the Shop.  :-(  I've cleaned my save and reinstalled but still no menu.  All my other mod config menus are intact though.

 

Edit:  I have waited a few minutes to see if the mcm just wasn't done loading but still nothing.

Edit 2: ran the setstage command to reset MCM.  still nothing.  Going to try reinstalling SkyUI.

First, it's good, all it's finally stable for me, I can play the mod. There are just some minor issues.

 

I did the quest with Erani. It's better than in the v3. But when I came to rescue her from the bandits, she fought with me (and she was pretty good, had some powerful fire spells) against them. This was strange to be honest, and after that she didn't want to talk to me (but maybe I hurt her during the fight though). Not a big issue because I just had to reload and be sure she didn't fight and everything worked just fine, but still. If you have too much time and you don't know what to do  :lol: 

 

There is also a big invisible step just in front of the VIP's house. So I have to jump to get in here.

About Erani, I brought her to master, then the VIP house, and now what to do ? I let her in the VIP house and stop her to be my follower. You said we have to wait some time, like before, but well, it's been almost a week (I had enough time to do two recover the delivery quest). I didn't wait enough or I did something wrong ?

So, I'm having several.... interesting little issues, mostly it looks like text and name assignment issues, but I'm also getting the lookup failed thing on the quest. I think, though, that I'll see how far I can go with a slightly bugged game.

So the first thing that I noticed was that the girl who greeted me (usually one of the slaves) was simply named "Carla."
Then, I noticed that Herran was renamed "Guest." The slaves on display are also named "Guest." 
(Perhaps guests with a free trial then?)
When I talked to the "Guest" on the right as you enter the shop, though, her subtitles identified her as "Player Voice."
 
At this point, I decided to do some poking around. For "Science"!
I went and unlocked the chest with the Dominance/submission/reversion potions. The names and functions were all mixed up. The only one that still had properly alligned name and listed effect was Potion of Submission, so I drank it. (The others I don't quite remember, but I'll look them up if anyone cares)
The potion of Submission; 'makes the player slightly more submissive' actually made me slightly more dominant (According to the Captured Dreams Ledger).
 
I proceeded to talk to Master. She was renamed "Hunter." (Still somewhat appropriate.)
I asked if she had any jobs, and she said that she had two; a delivery and a recovery. I took the recovery.
At this point, it got slightly weirder; I got Quest text across the top of the screen, but it was in the larger size, and it told me that I had just received a letter from Master, and that I should read it. I checked my inventory, but there was no new letter. 
I checked my journal, which told me that I had received a letter from Master and that I should read it... in super tiny text where the quest title usually appears. Also, the objective of the quest was "Lookup Failed!"
I still had a quest target, though, but it had no text when I moused over it.
Once again, the urge for "science" struck, and I tried "player.movetoqt CDXRecoverDelivery". It placed me slightly higher into the air. I was able to repeat this effect until I was fairly high up. When I closed the console, though, it simply snapped me back to the ground. Oh well.
I proceeded to the cave where the courier had died. The quest marker was still sort of working, so I killed some bandits and found the courier.... "Slave Narri". She had grown a very nice beard.

Did you try to install the unlocalized esp or the v4.05 esp patch ? I did that and it worked just fine for me.

Did you try to install the unlocalized esp or the v4.05 esp patch ? I did that and it worked just fine for me.

I have the patch but I can't find where to download the unlocalized esp.  Is that an option you have to click on when installing CD?

I'm finding the smithing quests get stuck on day two.  Day 1 has my progress measured, but day 2 as a smith doesn't start.  I don't get a new quota to fill, and so no checking is done either (which makes sense I guess) at the end of the day.

 

Yeah, have that .  uninstalling the patch and CD and going to load them up again with unlocalized checked this time.  Fun times.

 

Edit:  After the re-install still no unlocalized showing up.  Going on in to the game to see if I'm good again or if I'm going to drink a couple of beers IRL instead...lol

Edit 2:  Sigh... Still no menus in CD MCM.  I get the menu titles but nothing shows up in the box.

Edit 3: Now when Herron "gets me ready" the game freezes...   :-/    (Thank you to everyone who has given suggestions!)

What am i suppose to do after completing the first day of smelting?

Hey i've got a problem in the property questline. After being sent to the Smelting quest and completing it with more material then required, i get dialog with the lady (Good dialog), and then a hint for a future quest if the work continues good. The quest no longer works after that. 

 

What am i suppose to do after completing the first day of smelting? 

 

Bugged I think, see my post two up.  The second day doesn't seem to trigger.  What should happen is you get another similar quota for the 2nd day, and if you can beat that, on the 3rd day you get new quest.

That file (for me) was just to fix the NPC names.   For the empty MCM problem I had to start a NEW game with the CD (or load a save that didn't have the old CD).

For the patch file, there's no special install.  I install CD full like usual, then install the patch with NMM ('yes' if there's an overwrite), but there's nothing to 'show up'.

Yeah defiantly bugged. I'm glad i'm not the only one! 

 

This error right here is causing our problems:

So when you're entering the building, an error is thrown and the script  fails meaning the quest cannot be continued.

Wow.  You had to start the whole game from scratch? :o   OR once you did that you could go back to your existing game?

Ookay, this was an issue with MO. It wasn't overwriting correctly until i restarted it.

That's new but nice to read that you solved it.

Nevermind, seems like i didnt solve it after all. So this is real weird - if i disable the .esp in the right pane, I get normal npc names. If the .esp is enabled, i get hunter and guest and so on.

 

With Captured Dreams.esp disabled, some of my other mods are missing masters, like dyndolod for instance. But it doesn't crash on startup. It should crash on startup, i have no bloody idea why it doesn't. And I can't really play with the .esp disabled since it causes my paper map to freak out, too.

 

I have your patch disabled, just the original CD.

 

I don't know if this is just MO being weird or CD problem.

 

EDIT: It was just me being retarded. One of my patches was causing this.
